## Perplexity Reviews
 ### 1. Grounded AI for Strategic Product Development

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubham J.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

When I started using Perplexity, I really liked that I could reference where it got its answers from, providing a sense of groundedness that helped me choose Perplexity over other AI bots. Over time, I appreciated the ability to have different models available on Perplexity. The availability of the latest models immediately after their launch is also something I highly value. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy for us.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Image generation is something which I feel Perplexity lacks. It's not as good as Gemini. The fact that it can't generate PDFs well enough is another issue. I know they can generate PDFs and docs now, but I have issues a lot of times when they said they generated something, but it never actually was generated. There are a lot of integrations available already, but I would like more such as Snowflake.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity to solve product strategy issues, design roadmaps, ideate new features, and perform competitive analysis, including researching competitors' market strategies and customer insights.

 ### 2. Fast, Source-Cited Answers That Turn Messy Topics Into Clear Summaries

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Outsourcing/Offshoring | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

What I like best about Perplexity is how quickly it gets me from a vague question to a usable answer with sources I can actually verify. The cited results and follow-up suggestions make it easy to go deeper without opening 15 tabs, and I can turn a messy topic into a clear summary in minutes. I use it daily to sanity-check information, compare options, and draft first-pass notes for emails and docs, especially when I’m short on time but still need to be accurate. I also use it as my assistant.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Sometimes Perplexity can be a bit too detailed for what I need. Even when I ask for a short, high-level answer, it may still return a long response with lots of citations and extra context, which slows me down when I’m trying to move quickly.

Another limitation for me is that it can’t easily read or follow context across other threads/conversations, so I end up repeating background and re-explaining the same details. I’d love more consistent controls for “keep it brief” (strict length and fewer sources) and better cross-thread context support or a way to reference prior threads when needed.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity is solving the “too much information, not enough time” problem in my work. It helps me quickly digest long documents and research-heavy topics, then turn them into clear, source-backed takeaways I can actually use in decision-making.

Before using it, I spent hours jumping between tabs, reading dense reports end-to-end, and manually compiling links for leadership updates. Now I can benchmark new hiring regions globally, sanity-check market and compensation signals, and outline strategic options much faster, often cutting research and synthesis time from hours to under an hour, because the answers come with citations and a structured narrative.

This has improved my workflow by making early-stage analysis faster and more consistent: I can produce cleaner briefs, shareable notes, and better-informed recommendations without losing traceability to sources. It’s especially valuable when I’m working on company strategy, talent-market mapping, or any topic where I need both speed and credibility

 ### 3. Versatile and Fast, But Occasionally Incomplete

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frank D. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I use Perplexity daily to help me understand what's going on across different industries that I track and for recipes and meal planning. I enjoy using it for deeper research on topics I come across during the day where I want to learn more. Perplexity gives me an experience with AI using different references and sources, which gives me greater confidence that I'm getting useful and accurate information. It does this very quickly, saving me a lot of time. The app is on my iPhone and Mac, and I can access it from browsers on other computers, making it a very easy experience. I like its voice technology, which allows me to put Perplexity on speaker and ask it questions while I'm cooking, enabling multitasking as it gives me insights as I work. The initial setup was easy and instant.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I have found that in the last six months, the quality of some of the outputs are either abbreviated or not completely. I've had to ask Perplexity if it could verify its answers from a previous response, and often they will be corrected.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity to understand various industries, plan meals, and research topics, plus it gives me confidence with accurate info from different sources. It's fast, saving me time, and I like its ease of use and voice tech for multitasking.

 ### 4. Valuable Insights with Some Growing Pains

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Konstantin K.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I really like that Perplexity includes their sources. In my line of work, the accuracy of information is super important, so this feature allows me to quickly refer back to the original source document to verify that the information is, in fact, true. This makes analyzing and screening for actual insights much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I don't like that there's frequent UI changes, and it seems like also recently one of the models has been changed out or some prompting changes have been made that have led to the prompts that I have been using previously to significantly degrade in performance. And, it feels like Perplexity has just been rambling rather than giving me the output that I would have expected.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity helps me aggregate data from different sources, ensuring accuracy and allowing me to quickly analyze and find true insights. It includes source documentation for fact-checking, which is crucial in my work.

 ### 5. Streamlined Research with Precision

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick L.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I use Perplexity mostly for research, especially when I need to reference a scientific claim. It significantly speeds up the process of searching through references manually. I appreciate its accuracy since the output nearly always cites the right papers with the correct links. I also enjoy using Deep Research for more involved projects and appreciate how it can turn dull spreadsheets into interactive dashboards. The time-saving aspect is really important for me because while I could do these tasks with other tools, Perplexity speeds the whole process up. The initial setup was super easy, with no issues at all.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I think more use cases. I'd like to see examples where Perplexity adds value compared with other language models I use.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity to speed up research, making it easier to reference scientific claims quickly. It's accurate, providing correct citations and links, and it saves time by turning spreadsheets into interactive dashboards.

 ### 6. Perplexity: Time Saving with Useful Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alberto E.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I like to use Perplexity mainly as an intelligent search engine, as it saves me time in deep research about my clients, their industries, and the signals and trends that may impact them. Its ability to connect with tools like Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Statista is excellent, as it allows me to access work documents and quickly link them with Perplexity to draft and develop proposals or reports. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

The voice function doesn't work very well, the Spanish accent is very bad and also when I want to interact with it in the car it's a problem, it's not always smooth. If you manage to improve the experience of interacting with the car mode and voice, it would be a hit.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity as an intelligent search engine, saving time on in-depth research about clients, industries, and trends. I can also quickly access documents through integrations with Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Statista, which helps me draft proposals and reports.

 ### 7. Perplexity: Streamlined R&D, Exceptional Usability, but Room for Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darren C. | Founder | CEO

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I guess what I like the most about Perplexity is its ease of use. It's very straightforward. Perplexity has been really good in allowing us to use it across the team, and we iterate together throughout the product. We use it almost like in an information management kind of way and as a source of truth, checking statistics and data points. For our scientific research, we constantly pull information from third-party websites using it. Right now, my favorite aspect is the combination with Comet, which is so powerful and unique. I think Perplexity has a really great way of adapting to my personal writing style and tone, so I often use it for creating the initial structure for a LinkedIn post or to build prompts for videos. I use it extensively on a daily basis for many different aspects of our business, and it's a critical piece of our technology platform. I think the initial setup was very easy, and I was impressed with it. The way it supports security is really straightforward, and I love how Perplexity incorporates new features and gets the team to use them effectively.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I would like to see Perplexity improve in understanding more complex prompt architecture. It would be helpful to have versioning of prompts and a workflow to manage and compare them over time. Also, Perplexity is not as seamless in code building compared to other platforms. Its integration with open-source environments and tools like Calendaring and video platforms is lacking as well. It doesn't support standards like Caldev or video standards like SIP, which limits its utility.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity as the foundation of our R&D, intelligence around workflows, understanding toxicology and consumer habits. It helps with compliance, guidelines, and competitive intelligence. It's also a great tool for information management, providing a source of truth and aiding in scientific research.

 ### 8. A Discovery Partner for Informed Decisions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan H.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I use Perplexity for everything from deep account research to understanding what's happening in the market around us. It's a great tool to get general information on things I might otherwise be wrong about at first. It's my best discovery partner, helping me understand not just what I want to know, but how to understand things better by identifying gaps in my understanding and supporting those gaps with research. I like that I don't have to rely on the anecdotes or opinions of others to sway my decision-making because Perplexity provides very good information that helps me form my own conclusions. I really appreciate being able to customize it and trigger daily information runs. Plus, it basically replaces other providers like Google for searching and getting answers, which is a huge plus. Dictation is super helpful too—I can just talk to it and get answers without needing to search the right way with prompt engineering.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I would love to see how we can bring it into the command line. Because I think that that would complement other ways that I work with AI really well.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity for deep account research and understanding market trends, helping me understand better and fill gaps with research. It provides good information that aids personal decision-making without relying on others' opinions.

 ### 9. Powerful Research Tool with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nimish P. | Co-Founder

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I love that Perplexity offers multiple sets of models, including the latest ones, which I can use. The labs feature is something I love overall, especially how it allows for prototyping and takes it to the next level. I appreciate how context sharing helps protect my team's time by allowing us to use shared contexts efficiently. The multistep processes in the labs feature are also great.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I still miss out on features like plot code and certain types of outputs I directly want to use. For example, if I want something in a better voice or how Claude writes emails, those features are sort of missing. If there was access to similar features, I would consider canceling my Claude subscription, but that's not the case yet.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity for research and prototyping with multiple models. The lab feature helps create useful assets, and context sharing saves my team's time. We can also perform multistep processes efficiently.

 ### 10. Transformative Search Engine with Trustworthy Citations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joey D. | Founder

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

Perplexity is my go-to search engine and is the starting point for most of my research and questions. I trust Perplexity's responses because it provides citations with links to every fact it claims, which gives me confidence that the info is accurate and up to date. The fact and link citation is key to me, and their news sourcing is great, surfacing really obscure info that's highly dialed in to my interests. Using other LLMs as a search replacement feels like a black box, but with Perplexity, I know where the information is coming from. The setup was super easy too.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

The links can sometimes be buried, making it hard to get a list of resources to other websites because Perplexity tries to keep me on their page. Labs is an interesting idea but I rarely use it. Also, deep research could go deeper; I haven't seen anything go as deep as what ChatGPT can do.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity is my go-to search engine for starting research and quickly preparing reports. I trust its citations with links to verify facts. It surfaces really obscure information tailored to my interests, more effectively than other tools.

 ### 11. Reliable Tool with Versatile Model Switching

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Venkatesh P.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I use Perplexity mainly for code reviews and research, especially in cybersecurity. I appreciate how it simplifies checking multiple websites by providing concise and reliable results with solid resources and sources. I love the ability to switch models, as Perplexity allows access to all models without token restrictions, which is a huge advantage. I frequently switch between the normal mode and deep research mode, which I really like. I've also started using Perplexity Labs a lot. The reliable answers it provides, even in areas like medicine, make Perplexity stand out compared to other tools where accuracy might be uncertain. I prefer Perplexity's answers for their source reliability, which is why I've bragged a lot about it. I'm a satisfied user, and I've gotten others interested in using it as well.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

None

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity to simplify research by checking multiple websites efficiently. It gives concise, reliable results without the need to hunt around the web, helping identify requirements and expectations.

 ### 12. Highly Accurate with Seamless Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janet M.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I like the accuracy of Perplexity the most, and that it's less emotional than ChatGPT. I appreciate that I can switch between research, quick answers, and deep thinking modes. Being able to choose models and share spaces with work colleagues is really useful. The accuracy is especially helpful when I ask the model to share sources, so I can verify the information and ensure it's accurate, which improves my work. The sharing spaces feature allows me to collaborate with different team members, brainstorm, and look at answers collaboratively.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I don't like that I can't change the title of my different inquiries. It's just titled whatever I type in first, and I haven't seen a way to change the titles. I also don't like that one of my spaces has gotten too long, and I'm always being reminded to start a new thread. I just need that ongoing space no matter how long it is.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity makes deep research thorough and accurate, saving me hours of googling for academic papers. It lets me verify information with source citations, ensuring accuracy, which enhances my work. Sharing spaces with colleagues is great for collaborative brainstorming.

 ### 13. Essential tool for quick and accurate research

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Farley T. | Social Media Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

Perplexity is an exceptional tool for quick and intelligent online research. Its ability to cite accurate sources, offer multiple perspectives, and provide verified answers makes it indispensable for marketing professionals and content creators. The speed and accuracy in searches are unparalleled.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Perplexity has limitations in advanced customization and sometimes the quality of citations can vary. The model has context limitations in long conversations, and access to real-time information is occasionally inconsistent. Additionally, the free plan is very limited compared to competing options.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity solves the challenge of quick and accurate research with citations. It benefits me greatly by providing verified answers with real-time sources, speeding up my research process to create informed content. Especially useful for validating information before creating content for SAM Innovations.

 ### 14. Faster Than Google with Streamlined Information

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim m.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I like how quickly Perplexity brings back information and summarizes it, offering next steps and two things that'll help me do my job. It also allows me to upload files, spreadsheets, Word docs, etc., reorganize them, and extract information in a good way. It's much quicker than going to Google and searching through multiple websites as it gathers all information, summarizes it, and provides next steps for resolving issues. Also, the setup was very easy and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Sometimes it doesn't bring back your information, but not often. You have to double check, proofread, and just make sure that what it's telling you seems right to me before I try and apply it to the problem that I have.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity helps me troubleshoot software error messages and learn about various IT topics by summarizing and providing next steps. It's my go-to for investigating work issues quickly.

 ### 15. Smooth R&D with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Poonam P.

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I like Perplexity's simple interface and the access to all the models it offers. Having comparative data and the ability to integrate data sites like Pitchbook is a big plus. I also value its functionality for accessing history better than other services, allowing me to review all my threads and search them effectively. The ease of creating charts with the data I need, especially in labs, makes my research process smoother. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, which streamlined my transition to using Perplexity.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I think organizing history with tabs so similar topics are combined could be improved. If I can have folders or tabs for each topic, I can organize my threads better.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity for research with citations, essential for technical work, and it simplifies document creation and verification in operations. Having numbers and creating charts is easy with labs.

 ### 16. Great for Technical Docs, but Often Overdoes It and Ignores Instructions

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Javier F. | Business English Teacher, Education Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

It can be invaluable when writing technichal documentation

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

It does not always follow your requests, it tends to overdo things, and it is not critical at all. You are always right even if it is not the case

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m preparing technical documentation for a farm project, and I don’t have any farming background. This tool has been invaluable for calculating, researching, and presenting the facts in a clear, professional way.

 ### 17. Efficient Research Tool with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trinoy S. | Research Assistant, Higher Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I like that Perplexity provides concise answers with citations, making it easy to verify information. It allows me to dive deeper into sources when needed. The setup was very easy; it worked right away in the browser with no installation, and creating an account to access useful features only took a couple of minutes. Perplexity is also very useful and time-saving for research, learning, and everyday questions, often replacing traditional web services.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Some answers can be too short or oversimplified. Complex topics sometimes need extra follow-up questions or manual checking of sources.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity helps me manage information overload and speeds up research by providing clear, sourced answers and summaries quickly, eliminating the need to open multiple web pages or documents.

 ### 18. Fast, reliable, and surprisingly Smart Research Assistant

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manila B. | Digital Marketing Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2025

It combines the power of an AI language model with real-time web search, which means I get up-to-date, sourced answers almost instantly. It’s great for quick research, fact-checking, and exploring topics without getting lost in dozens of browser tabs. I also appreciate the clean, distraction-free interface and how it cites its sources transparently.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Sometimes the depth of answers can feel a bit limited compared to GPT-4 or specialized tools, especially for more complex or nuanced topics. Also, while it’s excellent for research, it’s less helpful for creative writing or brainstorming. Still, for what it’s designed to do, it performs extremely well.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of information overload and the time wasted scrolling through search results. With Perplexity, I can get concise, relevant, and referenced summaries in seconds. This helps me make informed decisions faster and improves the accuracy of my work, especially when I need to double-check facts or gather quick insights on unfamiliar topics.

 ### 19. Great Content Creation, But Regional Limitations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Majid M. | Freelancer, Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I really appreciate Perplexity for content creation, as it creates a variety of content in seconds. The content creation feature is awesome. I also find it easy to use, which is a big plus. The features and ease of use prompted us to switch from Meta AI to Perplexity, and it completely solves my needs. Additionally, the image and video generating capabilities were great for meme making.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Nowadays image and video generating not available in my region... It's a big negative. Need Indian language for all videos generating.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity for content creation, and it 100% solves my needs. It's awesome for quickly creating a variety of content in seconds.

 ### 20. Comet Browser + Deep Search: Trustworthy Results Every Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sharique S. | Co-founder, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I love the Comet browser and embedded Assistant. In Perplexity search, Deep Search is awesome. I have never seen wrong information or a wrong reference with DS. I can say that I trust Perplexity.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

In the mobile app, the agent often disconnects while responding, so you have to reload or retry. It can get annoying at times.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity basically fixes the broken search experience by cutting through the noise of blue links and giving me direct, synthesized answers I can actually trust. It’s a huge time saver because it verifies everything with citations. The Comet browser, even helps me take action instantly instead of just browsing endlessly.

 ### 21. Best-in-Class Research with Consistent Citations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric S. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

Of all the AI LLMs I use, Perplexity provides the best information when it comes to research, and it consistently cites its findings.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Sometimes the searches get too far ahead without the right context, and I have to step back one or two steps to get things on track again. It’s not that big of a deal overall.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deep Research has been the best part of using Perplexity for me. Now they’ve introduced agents as well, and they’ve been great so far.

 ### 22. Smooth Interface, Aids Data Verification

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayank D.

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I really like Perplexity's smooth interface and the fact that it provides free access to all. The free access is particularly valuable as it allows me to earn while helping working people, and it also makes it easy for me to recommend Perplexity to others. Additionally, the initial setup was quite easy, which was a nice bonus.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Perplexity sometimes gives shallow answers, uses mixed-quality sources, and lacks strong context retention and customization. There were times when it provided high-level summaries for technical topics and cited generic blogs instead of primary or authoritative sources, which meant I had to double-check information elsewhere before using it.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity to verify data accuracy by comparing datasets from different websites. The free access and smooth interface are beneficial, allowing me to assist working people efficiently. However, it sometimes provides shallow answers and mixed-quality sources.

 ### 23. Versatile Tool with Great Features, Discover and research.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Purva K. | System Integration Specialist, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I really like a couple of features in Perplexity that stand out for me. The first one is the ability to create a space for me and my team. We can have a dedicated place to research topics and do more stuff together. This has been really useful. Another impressive feature is the Discover page for Perplexity; it provides current news and keeps me updated about world news, finance, and geopolitics. I find it very valuable and don’t think any other tool is doing it like this.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I think Perplexity, although it's a great tool for coding, needs some enhancements. It uses an up-to-date model with knowledge of current happenings, but in terms of coding, it needs a little improvement. I feel like Copilot and other models are doing better in that area. I would really like to see Perplexity give coding suggestions that are as good as Copilot and other models.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity to solve coding challenges by getting solutions and suggestions. It helps me improve and optimize code and queries. It also aids in analyzing my stock portfolio, suggesting actions based on my shares and market movements.

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I've really enjoyed the mobile version of Perplexity as it allows me to screenshot things I want to research, ask questions about them, and interact with the information. I also enjoyed the voice feature and conversing with the voice chat; it's very natural sounding and feels right. One of the ways I use the voice feature is during a commute—it helps me keep up with the news or learn something new, just like chatting with a friend.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

There's not much I dislike about it. But I mainly use it for internet research as opposed to content creation.

I like the wide range of models I can access in one place, making it easy to compare and choose the best tool for each task. I also value the deep level of research it provides, which supports more thorough and reliable answers.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

One downside of Perplexity is that it isn’t always as strong at coding tasks compared with more specialized developer-focused models. While it performs well for research and general queries, highly technical programming work can sometimes be better handled by dedicated coding tools.

Perplexity dramatically speeds up research and summarises information.

 ### 28. Versatile Tool with Finance Insights and Easy Setup

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** shashank s.

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I like the integrated finance feature which fetches live stock market data. I also like the availability of various AI models and the Comet browser option for online assessments. For research and analysis, the data is better than others like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Grok. I've replaced my browser with Comet, which was Chrome earlier, and it helps me get exact answers unlike Google. Also, the online assessment side bar helps with answers or queries related to any topic on a page without switching tabs or windows. Perplexity Finance helps me with AI-driven stock market analysis with access to live data, enabling me to make investment and trading decisions on a day-to-day basis. It was as easy as it can be. No fuss.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I feel the AI models like Gemini or ChatGPT 5.0 in Perplexity are not that great compared to their own platforms, and the quality of results varies a lot. For example, when I search for in-depth detail about a topic and ask it to act as a stock market IPO expert, the results are very mediocre compared to Grok with the same instructions and models. Maybe Grok has access to live feed on a platform that Perplexity doesn't, so the results vary massively.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity for research, analysis, and as a personal search engine. It helps with live stock data for finance, provides AI-driven market analysis, and acts as a tutor for concepts and scanning. Replacing Chrome with Comet browser gives exact answers without switching tabs.

Maybe its ability to read charts can be improved further

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity to extract and summarize financial news quickly, providing sourced answers without the chaos of multiple tabs, and it helps validate information with credible sources.

I like Perplexity's UI, which makes it easy to use and understand. The Multi Model approach and different modes provide versatility, serving all kinds of different use cases. I also appreciate the fast innovation speed with new features.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I don't like the limited hosting options, especially the lack of EU hosting options. I find the need for more enterprise controls and analytics for certain features. The governance and guardrails setup could be improved, and I wish there were more open-source models and connectors. It would be great if it could be used as a company knowledge platform.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity gives me access to knowledge I otherwise don't have, challenges my ideas, aggregates knowledge, and solves complex problems quickly. It's easy to use, serves different use cases with its models and modes, and I appreciate the innovation speed.

I like the quality of the results. Trusting AI-generated content is not easy, and it feels good with Perplexity. The enterprise controls are also great. I feel safe to deploy it across the company. As we are using the tool in the company, I feel safe as the CISO to use a tool with a high level of compliance and data protection standards.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

The references could work better, they are not 100% good. I believe that if there's no good reference that is specifically relevant to the content, you can drop it.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity for trading ideas, budget and stocks tracking, and reliable web searches. I appreciate its quality results and enterprise controls, making me feel secure deploying it company-wide with high compliance standards.

 ### 33. Simplifies Tasks, Boosts Efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brody W.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I really enjoy how simple Perplexity is to use. I can get very granular with something I'm working on, or I can keep things very high level and quick. I also really, really love Labs. Documents can be created or altered insanely quickly in Labs, which is very helpful for me. Perplexity's simplicity means I'm not spending time trying to figure out how to use the tool; I'm just simply using it. The initial setup of Perplexity was extremely simple and didn't take me any time at all.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Sometimes instructions that seem simple give it a hard time. Often a simple retry of the response works.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity to save time on administrative tasks, freeing me to focus on strategic outreach and targeted campaigns, rather than wasting time inside or outside work hours.

 ### 34. Revolutionized Research Process with Efficient Consolidation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katharina M. | ESG & Impact Analyst

I find it helpful in consolidating answers shortly. The deep research feature is something I value as it takes me through all the scientific articles, and it provides alternative suggestions for further research. It's inspiring because it gives me a good overview of scientific evidence in that field. Also, the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Sometimes, if a writing prompt is not very clear, Perplexity could be improved to acknowledge that and provide suggestions on how to clarify the prompt.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity to quickly gather research articles and consolidate texts into easy-to-communicate formats, making my research process more efficient.

 ### 35. Fast and Simple for Quick Research, but Lacks Depth for Complex Topics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raghav K. | Marketing Manager, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

It’s very fast and simple to use. I use it daily at work for quick research, getting summaries, and checking facts when preparing marketing or partner reports. It gives short, to-the-point answers with sources, so it’s easy to verify information. It also helps when we need quick overviews about new technologies or market updates without reading long articles.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Sometimes it gives answers that feel too short or miss important context. It’s great for speed, but not always deep enough for complex topics. I’ve also noticed that it repeats similar answers if I ask in different ways.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves a lot of time for our team. Instead of searching through multiple sites, we can get a clear answer or summary in seconds. We use it to prepare internal notes, understand competitor updates, and summarise articles. It’s especially helpful for team members who need quick information without spending hours reading online.

 ### 36. Seamless Browsing with a Clean UI

I use it every day for personal calorie tracking, and also for other purposes, such as checking the latest news.

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I appreciate Perplexity for its reliable and verified answers, providing me with enhanced efficiency and time-saving capabilities for diverse tasks like video editing, content writing, and academic processes. Its conversational search maintains context effectively, preventing repetitive mistakes. The setup process is incredibly smooth, just a few clicks to get started. The contextual memory and natural language processing, along with advanced search capabilities, deeply enhance its usability. I also value its ability to handle complex multi-step tasks swiftly compared to human efforts.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I find the lack of support for the Sanskrit language problematic. While I use Sanskrit, Perplexity does not support it efficiently, which hampers my ability to get insights and meanings in this language.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity provides unparalleled access to big data insights, enabling businesses to harness the full potential of their data assets. This technology processes and analyzes vast amounts of data from multiple sources at incredible speeds, offering deep insights that would be difficult or impossible to glean manually.

I found that answers from Claude felt generalized, but Perplexity gave precise outputs. It's like a very knowledgeable assistant. Interestingly, Perplexity often suggests follow-up questions after answering. I found this feature extremely useful for digging deeper into topics.

 ### 40. Efficient, User-Friendly Search Alternative

I like using Perplexity for asking questions about clinical research and general topics instead of Google. I appreciate its quick and relevant answers without having to scroll through pages of information. The simple user interface is a plus, and I can access it via the web or the app.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I think Perplexity could be improved with more detailed, academic search capabilities. I'd like to have the opportunity to filter for the most recent research papers, which would be really good. Also, I would like to see improvement in the lab function, which was very promising but did not develop as much as I hoped.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity for quick and relevant answers without scrolling through pages of information. Instead of using Google, I prefer it for clinical research and other searches.

 ### 41. Fast, Easy Search with Shareable, Source-Verified Results

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

It’s easy to use, and you get results faster than with traditional search engines. You can save the results in a document or share a result link with a colleague. You can also choose a specific source to search (for example, if you want information from the web or in an academic/scientific context). Finally, it’s easy to verify the sources, since the link to the page the information was taken from is provided.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Sometimes it feels a bit “lazy.” You really need to give very specific instructions in the prompt—what to search for, how much to search, and how you want the results organized—so the output is easier to understand.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me do research much faster. I use it often to find technical information, regulations, and specific documentation, which makes it easier to get what I need without wasting time.

 ### 42. My Go-To Tool for Answers, Planning, and Verifying Ideas

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

Perplexity has access to such a wide scope of knowledge, bringing it together in one convenient place where I can ask questions, get help planning projects, and verify my plans, ideas, or even just my general thinking. It's now my go to tool for asking questions and searching for solutions, even more than Google.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

The only issue I occasionally run into is that Perplexity will sound completely sure about an answer even when I know that isn’t actually the case. That said, when I correct it, it’s quick to understand why it was wrong and to find sources that explain the correction.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity is helping me plan software changes, architecture decisions and acting as a secondary person to reviewing my thinking before I present these to the rest of the team.

 ### 43. Unmatched Background Processing for Complex Research

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marinos M. | Communications, Marketing and Advertising Consultant, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I really appreciate how Perplexity runs research tasks in the background, even when my computer is off. This feature is invaluable during complex, long-term research. The different research modes, including plain search and labs, are extremely helpful for my daily work. Additionally, setting up Perplexity was straightforward, and I prefer using the web version to avoid cluttering my desktop. Overall, these features significantly enhance my productivity and research efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I would like to be able to rename the conversation because it automatically picks up the first few words of your inquiry and that's the name of the conversation. It doesn't give you the ability to rename it so you can more easily identify the conversation and go back to it and continue researching within that conversation.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Perplexity solves prolonged research tasks by running in the background, even when my computer is off, which is crucial for ongoing complex research. Its various research modes help with my daily work needs.

 ### 44. Fast, Efficient, and Enhanced with Voice Mode

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike S. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

I really love the voice mode feature in Perplexity; it's by far my favorite. It's the default way that I talk to Perplexity because it's faster than typing. I also like that you can share your thread queries with people so they can follow along. The setup was super easy and only took five seconds.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

The only thing is you can't pick up voice mode after you've started a text chat, which I find a bit annoying. I start typing something and then I want to switch to voice mode, but it doesn't allow me to do that.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity for quick research. It gives me direct answers and quick summaries, cutting down the need to sort through many search results, and its research capabilities are phenomenal.

 ### 45. Streamlined Research, Needs Better Accuracy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pushpanjali M. | Product Owner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I use Perplexity for deep research on specific topics and love that it provides detailed explanations in one place without having to go through multiple citations. The user experience is crisp and breaks down queries, answering promptly. The best part is the feature of follow-up questioning, allowing me to ask more questions related to the output and receive detailed answers. The initial setup was extremely easy; it was a seamless process.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

At times, Perplexity hallucinates. The answers are a little off, so maybe Perplexity needs to work on its context window and response quality. Probably have a confidence level that the model can show next to every output - 95% confidence or 70%. This will let the user know if they need to dig deeper for any citation. This would be helpful for Perplexity as they will be transparent on how authentic the output is which they are displaying to the users.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity for deep research. It provides detailed explanations in one place, so I don't have to go through multiple citations. The user experience is great as it breaks down queries and answers promptly.

 ### 46. Perplexity: Instant Knowledge at Your Fingertips

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Endra G. | Microstocker

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I find Perplexity excels over other AI chats thanks to its real-time web search with advanced models like GPT-5 and Claude 4.0 Sonnet, providing up-to-date and accurate answers. It has transparent direct source citations that facilitate verification, and its Deep Research feature generates comprehensive reports from hundreds of sources in minutes. I appreciate the top-ranked Sonar model performance in search evaluations and the intuitive conversational interface with long context memory, making it ideal for factual research and complex tasks. The solving of problems has been incredibly helpful to me, and Perplexity feels like a confidant friend. I use Perplexity on WhatsApp because it's user-friendly, with its seamless integration into a familiar messaging app, offering real-time responses powered by web search, conversational flow with context retention across messages, and transparent source citations directly in chats. The initial setup is extremely easy, taking less than a minute with no account creation, passwords, or extra apps required.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

One area where Perplexity could improve is expanding multimodal capabilities, such as more advanced native image or video generation and analysis directly within chats, to better compete with tools like Midjourney or DALL-E integrations in other AIs. This would enhance creative tasks beyond current file uploads and summaries. Additionally, increasing free-tier limits for Deep Research queries could make premium features more accessible to casual users without pushing subscriptions.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity solves all my questions effectively, acting like a confidant. Its seamless integration into WhatsApp eliminates the need to switch platforms, offering instant, accurate responses, context retention, and source citations, making factual research and complex tasks easier.

I find it valuable to use the strongest LLMs for coding purposes and appreciate that I can switch to another to gain a consensus when I encounter problems. Also, the initial setup was super easy.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I think it'd be perfect if we can use Perplexity with an API as if I use it in the browser. I use it to copy the code from VSCode to the browser, get the answer, paste it back, and test, which is time-consuming. I tried the API of Perplexity but I didn't get the desired performance.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity daily for detailed research, coding, and code revisions where search engines fall short. It offers various LLMs for specific tasks and helps extend research, providing a flexible solution for complex inquiries. It is easy to use. Even in some problematic cases (accessibility), you can get detailed information about the service status.

I appreciate its flexibility, conversational approach, and ability to research quickly, making it act as a better search engine. The initial setup of Perplexity was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Occasionally the output is not exportable in an Excel format. Also, it can use older data that does not reflect the day’s news, which makes it less efficient and requires more time for me to accomplish my tasks.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity enhances my work efficiency as an institutional financial investor, speeding up tasks like Excel coding and PDF review. Its flexibility and quick research capabilities make it a better search engine, handling tasks I find boring.

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

What I appreciate most about Perplexity is how quickly it provides concise answers, always accompanied by clear source citations. This makes my research process both fast and reliable.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

At times, the answers seem a bit too brief or superficial, lacking the depth and technical detail that you might find in more comprehensive, long-form analyses. There is often a noticeable limitation in the amount of contextual insight provided.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity addresses the challenge of time-consuming research and unreliable information by providing quick, source-backed answers. This has been particularly helpful for me, as it allows me to validate information efficiently, make well-informed decisions, and save valuable time, especially when conducting technical or professional research.

Ease of integration with Automation tools is also convenient.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Sometimes the responses take too long to generate, and occasionally the answer quality is inconsistent or not as accurate as expected. While this doesn’t happen all the time, it’s noticeable enough to be a drawback.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity solves the problem of fragmented search and unclear AI results by offering a transparent, source-backed conversational research assistant. It speeds up information gathering by providing concise answers with citations, helping me quickly find accurate insights while saving time on manual research and verifying sources.
