I really like a couple of features in Perplexity that stand out for me. The first one is the ability to create a space for me and my team. We can have a dedicated place to research topics and do more stuff together. This has been really useful. Another impressive feature is the Discover page for Perplexity; it provides current news and keeps me updated about world news, finance, and geopolitics. I think Perplexity, although it's a great tool for coding, needs some enhancements. It uses an up-to-date model with knowledge of current happenings, but in terms of coding, it needs a little improvement. I feel like Copilot and other models are doing better in that area. I like the integrated finance feature which fetches live stock market data. I also like the availability of various AI models and the Comet browser option for online assessments. For research and analysis, the data is better than others like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Grok. I've replaced my browser with Comet, which was Chrome earlier, and it helps me get exact answers unlike Google. Also, the online assessment side bar helps with answers or queries related to any topic on a page without switching tabs or windows. Perplexity Finance helps me with AI-driven stock market analysis with access to live data, enabling me to make investment and trading decisions on a day-to-day basis. It was as easy as it can be. I feel the AI models like Gemini or ChatGPT 5.0 in Perplexity are not that great compared to their own platforms, and the quality of results varies a lot. For example, when I search for in-depth detail about a topic and ask it to act as a stock market IPO expert, the results are very mediocre compared to Grok with the same instructions and models. I would like to be able to rename the conversation because it automatically picks up the first few words of your inquiry and that's the name of the conversation. It doesn't give you the ability to rename it so you can more easily identify the conversation and go back to it and continue researching within that conversation. At times, Perplexity hallucinates. The answers are a little off, so maybe Perplexity needs to work on its context window and response quality. Probably have a confidence level that the model can show next to every output - 95% confidence or 70%. This will let the user know if they need to dig deeper for any citation. It saves me a ton of time compared to browsing multiple websites with Google. The voice assistant on my phone is super helpful for daily tasks, always offering the best feasible answer. The chat functionality keeps everything in one app, saving time and effort while keeping me away from fake and harmful websites. The voice assistant could be improved since it feels a bit slow and sometimes takes a bit long to respond. It could be better if it was integrated into the system more efficiently. The solving of problems has been incredibly helpful to me, and Perplexity feels like a confidant friend. I really like the selection of various LLMs in Perplexity, especially with the thinking option. It's great that it can extend research if needed for a specific topic. I think it'd be perfect if we can use Perplexity with an API as if I use it in the browser. I use it to copy the code from VSCode to the browser, get the answer, paste it back, and test, which is time-consuming. I tried the API of Perplexity but I didn't get the desired performance.
