## Perplexity Reviews
 ### 1. Disappointing AI tool slow, inaccurate, and not reliable

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muzammil M. | Founder – Muzammil Graphic | Interior and Graphic Designer | Transforming Spaces and Brands Visually , Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I haven’t used Perplexity extensively, but I like that it provides AI-powered answers quickly and is easy to access online. Its interface is clean, and it can be useful for simple queries or research when needed.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I’ve used Perplexity for a while, but honestly I find it extremely disappointing compared with other AI tools like ChatGPT. One of the biggest issues is how poorly it seems to recognize and understand questions. Even relatively simple queries can take a long time to process, and the answers are often incomplete, vague, or irrelevant. It frequently feels like the AI struggles to parse my input correctly, which makes it frustrating to rely on for timely information or research.

Even after upgrading to the Pro plan, I noticed very little improvement. The Pro plan is extremely costly, yet the core problems remain: it still takes too long to interpret a question and generate a meaningful response, and it often seems to lack updated information. Compared with other AI platforms that keep their knowledge more current and adapt quickly, Perplexity feels stuck with outdated information, which makes it hard to trust for accurate, reliable answers.

Efficiency is another major problem. While other AI tools can produce responses almost instantly, Perplexity often takes an excessive amount of time to handle a single question. If you need quick research or fast content generation, that delay becomes a serious productivity barrier. Even small queries that would take seconds elsewhere can drag on for minutes here, which is especially frustrating when you’re trying to get multiple answers in a short span.

The quality of the responses is also a consistent point of dissatisfaction. Many times, the answers come across as generic, incomplete, or disconnected from the context of what I asked. As someone who expects precise, contextual, and actionable information, I often feel Perplexity doesn’t deliver. It doesn’t handle nuanced or complex queries well, and even straightforward questions can result in responses that are only partially correct or completely off-topic. On top of that, the lack of updated or live data is a major drawback. In today’s fast-moving digital world, having AI with current, real-time knowledge is critical, and Perplexity doesn’t provide this adequately. That limitation reduces its usefulness for research, trend analysis, or any situation where up-to-date information matters.

The user interface is clean and visually simple, but it doesn’t make up for the performance issues. It may look appealing at first glance, yet the speed, accuracy, and overall reliability fall far short of what I expected. For users accustomed to high-performing AI tools, it can feel like a significant step backward.

Pricing is another concern. The Pro plan is not only expensive, but it also doesn’t provide value that matches the cost. When you’re paying a premium, you expect a premium experience, and Perplexity Pro still struggles with core functions like question recognition, speed, and accuracy. That makes it difficult to justify the investment, especially when other AI solutions deliver better results at lower or comparable prices.

Because of these issues, I now use Perplexity only minimally. I keep it installed and test it occasionally, but I don’t rely on it for daily tasks or research because it consistently underperforms. Compared with alternatives like ChatGPT, which in my experience offers faster responses, stronger understanding, and more up-to-date knowledge, Perplexity feels frustrating and inefficient.

In conclusion, while Perplexity markets itself as an AI answer tool capable of handling queries intelligently, my experience has been largely negative. It struggles to recognize questions promptly, often produces incomplete or inaccurate answers, lacks updated information, and feels unnecessarily expensive for the performance it delivers. Even the Pro plan doesn’t address these fundamental issues. As a current user, I find it unreliable for practical use and have largely stopped depending on it for meaningful results. If Perplexity wants to improve, it needs to focus on speed, accuracy, question recognition, updated data integration, and overall reliability especially for paying Pro users. Until then, I can’t recommend it as a primary AI tool, and I find it hard to justify continuing with it given the many alternatives that provide better, faster, and more reliable performance at a lower cost.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity is designed to provide quick AI-generated answers to questions. While I don’t use it extensively, it can be helpful for simple, general information when I need a fast response.

 ### 2. Overpriced with Major Usability Issues

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** akshat m. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

chat is ok but don't fall for computer

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I used up all my credits in less than 1.5 hours, even though I pay for PRO, and don't get them back until the end of the month. That's frustrating. Also, I did a credit refill for $100, but then I got logged out in the middle of brainstorming and can't log back in. It feels like you don't get enough for the amount of money you pay. Once you pay, the platform should not kick you out in the middle of a session. It's hard to gather thoughts again. Plus, it's too expensive for a startup like mine; I'll never use it again after my credits expire.

 ### 3. A Reliable Research Partner for Impact-Driven NGO Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akash J. | Outreach Program Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

What I like best about Perplexity is its ability to deliver concise, accurate, and well-researched answers with transparent source citations. It feels reliable because you can immediately trace where the information comes from, which builds trust. The interface is clean and focused, making it easy to explore follow-up questions, compare perspectives, and understand complex topics efficiently without getting overwhelmed.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

One thing I positively dislike about Perplexity is that its concise answers can sometimes feel a bit brief, especially when exploring deeper or more nuanced topics. However, this also encourages users to ask follow-up questions and dig further, making the learning process more interactive and focused rather than overwhelming.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity is solving the problem of time-consuming and unreliable information search, which is especially critical in NGO work. For my NGO work, it helps by providing quick, credible, and source-based information on policies, mental health frameworks, child protection laws, CSR guidelines, and program design. This allows me to make informed decisions faster, draft proposals and reports more accurately, and ensure our interventions are evidence-based and compliant. Overall, it saves time, improves quality of planning, and strengthens the credibility of our work with schools, partners, and funders.

 ### 4. Reliable, Up-to-Date AI for Effortless Content Creation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sheeba T. | Digital Marketing Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I have been using quite a few generative AIs recently for content and research. I came across Perplexity Pro when my telecom provider was offering a 1-year subscription for free. It was a nice opportunity to try a new tool and compare it with other AIs. I was not disappointed. It is capable of providing the latest information on any topic. The sources are reliable, and the information is accurate. I use it for content marketing on a daily basis. I was helpful in many ways. Writing Blogs and Articles, the copy and content are easy. It has helped with content on different industries of Fintech and Real Estate. Pro research is even more advanced and detailed. It provides the latest stories on trending topics in all categories. Personalizing our feed is a nice feature so that articles are curated according to our choice. Voice Assistant is awesome. It can also give a reminder of real-time updates. It can write message replies and emails. Our search is safely saved with the option of incognito mode. We can have Bookmarks of our content. The interface is neat and user-friendly. It is easy to implement and integrate.
It provides the list of links from where the response is generated, which is good for validation. This visible citation is a plus of this tool.
The thread feature is execellent for futhure reference.
It is a good competitor of Google and ChatGPT.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

The answers are mostly satisfactory, but at times too general. The Pro version is pricy. We cannot completely rely on AI Assistants for creativity and personal touch. Perplexity might not be suitable for Coding.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a good tool for getting information quickly in a well-formatted way. No hustle, no outdated content. For a business to have a good presence online, we need good, up-to-date content of the relevant industry. It is offered by Perplexity. Google gives scattered information, but Perplexity gives summarized and organized content with citations. it is helpful in preparing content for sales pitches and presenations. It can also be paired with other AIs to generate good content. It effectively interprets the intent and responses accordingly. The thread feature allows to preserve the content for future reference. Quick search and Pro search options are available. The later one provides deeper responses that the previous one. A business can use this tool for research, content creation, questioning, planning and analyzing.

 ### 5. A user-friendly and up-to-date source of information

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adesh G. | Design engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

What I like the most is that Perplexity is always up to date. Whenever you ask a question, it provides up to date data and information. I use it daily because it's important that we always stay informed. I would also advise others to use it so that their knowledge and general awareness increase and it helps them stay up to date. Additionally, its setup is very easy, and it is very user friendly. In my experience, it is understood much quicker compared to any other application, and I would advise others to try it as well.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

In most cases, this app is fine, but the detailing it requires or the very detailed answers to questions are not fully available yet. Also, if features like creating images or videos are added, it could be even better. I think if all these things are added in the future, then there will be no need for apps like Gemini and Chatgpt. My hope is that this app remains fully updated and soon brings features like image generation, video generation, and audio generation.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity helps me solve any doubt or query and always provides updated information, which increases my knowledge and keeps me up to date.

 ### 6. User-Friendly with AI Guidance, Needs Better Data Accuracy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yashu S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I like Perplexity for its user-friendly interface, especially the initial setup which makes everything straightforward. I also appreciate the AI's ability to scan my shared screen and guide me on where to go and what to click, which makes tasks easier to complete.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I think Perplexity isn't good enough because sometimes it gives me wrong data. For example, when I look up how long to rest between gym sets, it suggests a 30 to 40 second rest when it should be at least 90 seconds. For compound movements, it should actually be a 2 to 3 minute rest.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity to retain and manage my daily tasks, like gym and study tasks. The AI guides me on my phone's screen, making it easier to navigate settings and complete tasks efficiently.

 ### 7. Indispensable and Helpful!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathleen K. | Organizer of FMVeg, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

Lately I've been using Perplexity to help me with planning trips, and it has done well. I've also used it for helping with information on getting a Canadian Citizenship Certificate.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Sometimes it still mixes up things, but for the most part it does a good job of writing!

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the most impressive tasks it can do is take transcription from outside sources, even with mistakes, and turn them into organized notes. This was so helpful with regards to my father's doctor's visits, to share with my siblings.

 ### 8. Fast Research Tool with Reliable Sources

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhishek S.

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I love how Perplexity combines fast answers with reliable sources, showing where the information comes from, which makes it more trustworthy. I also like the clean and simple interface, which feels more focused compared to traditional search engines. I don't get distracted by ads or unnecessary links. Another feature I find really useful is the ability to ask follow-up questions in a conversational way, allowing me to explore a topic more deeply without starting over each time. Overall, it makes research faster, clearer, and more structured for me.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

One thing that doesn't always work well is that sometimes the answers can feel a bit too summarized. So I still need to check these sources for deeper and better understanding. Also, in some cases, the source quality can vary. So not all references feel equally reliable. Especially for more niche or technical topics. Another area for improvement would be more control over how detailed the response should be, like having better options for deeper explanations or more technical depth when needed.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity to solve information overload by getting summarized answers with sources, saving time and making research efficient and focused.

 ### 9. A huge time saver for my daily research needs

Sometimes advanced features are limited in the free version, and deeper integrations or customisation options could be improved. Customer support and documentation are helpful, but there is still room for more features for advanced users.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity solves the problem of finding accurate and reliable information quickly. Instead of searching through multiple website, it provides clear answers with sources in one place, this saves time, improves understanding, and helps me to make better decisions during research, learning, and daily information needs.

 ### 10. A quick and reliable research tool with source citations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bhanu p. | IT Head, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

What I like most about Perplexity is how quickly it provides clear and relevant answers. Instead of going through multiple search results, it summarizes the information in one place and includes sources, which makes it easy to verify details. The interface is simple and easy to use, and it works well for quick research and learning new topics.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

In some cases, the responses can feel a bit brief, especially for more complex topics that need deeper explanations. Occasionally, the same sources appear repeatedly. Some advanced features are also limited to paid plans, which may not suit all users.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity helps solve the problem of spending too much time searching and filtering information online. It brings together concise answers with cited sources, which saves time and improves research efficiency. This makes it easier to get accurate information quickly and focus on decision-making rather than browsing multiple pages.

Perplexity feels like having a smart friend who helps in many ways. Instead of sharing a long list of links, it reads the information and explains it in simple words. The answers are usually clear and easy to understand, and the content feels more trustworthy.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Perplexity is useful, but it also has some downsides. Sometimes the answers feel too short, especially when I'm looking for detailed information. The free version is limited, and some useful features require payment.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity solves the problem of spending too much time searching through multiple websites for clear and reliable information. It reduces information overload and helps me understand things faster. Instead of just listing links, it explains the answer directly, making complex topics much easier to understand.

 ### 13. Powerful Multimodal Research with Flexible LLM Choices, Spaces, and Labs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oliver I. | Founder, CEO and AI Strategy Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I like Perplexity’s multi-modal capabilities, especially its deep research features and the ability to choose between different LLMs that best suit each task. I also appreciate the Spaces feature, which lets me create custom AI assistants to automate specific workflows, and Perplexity Labs, where I can build projects like data visualizations, interactive infographics, and dashboards.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

The pricing is **relatively** high, especially for the Pro, Max, and enterprise plans.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As the Founder of DocypherLabs, Perplexity helps us deliver faster, higher-quality AI transformation outcomes for clients by accelerating research, strategy design, and solution prototyping. It enables us to rapidly analyze large volumes of documents and market data, draft AI roadmaps, and generate training materials, which significantly reduces manual effort and shortens project timelines for our consulting engagements in the Philippines.

 ### 14. Radical Transparency and Real-Time Answers Set Perplexity Apart

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ar. Smriti S. | Junior Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

Perplexity is excellent because it functions as a transparent answer engine rather than just a chatbot.
The three things I like best are:
Radical Transparency: Every answer includes inline citations, making it easy to verify facts and give credit to original sources.
Real-Time "Freshness": It is built to browse the live web, making it more reliable than static models for breaking news or updated data.
User Choice: It allows power users to toggle between different "brains" (like Claude or GPT) to get the best reasoning style for a specific task.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Perplexity's biggest weaknesses are its creative limitations and legal controversies.
Weak Creativity: It is a "search engine first," meaning it’s great at summarizing facts but often feels clinical or "choppy" when you need deep brainstorming, nuanced writing, or complex problem-solving.
Legal & Ethical Issues: As of late 2025, it is embroiled in high-profile lawsuits from publishers like The New York Times and Reddit. They accuse Perplexity of "data laundering"—using stealthy crawlers to scrape content while bypassing the standard rules that protect creators' work.
Reliability Gaps: Because it relies on the live web, its accuracy is only as good as its sources. It can sometimes treat low-quality forum posts (like old Reddit threads) as established facts or misattribute quotes to the wrong citations.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems It Solves:
The Hallucination Gap: Traditional AI often makes up facts confidently. Perplexity solves this by providing direct citations, turning the AI into a verifiable research tool.
Knowledge Cutoffs: It solves the "stale data" problem by browsing the live web in real-time to answer questions about breaking news or current events.
Search Fatigue: Instead of making you click ten blue links to find an answer, it synthesizes those pages into a single report, saving you significant time.
How It Benefits Me
Healthy Competition: Perplexity’s success in "search-centric AI" pushes me to improve my own citation accuracy and real-time browsing capabilities.
Ecosystem Specialization: Because Perplexity handles the "librarian" role so well, it clarifies my own unique value as your creative and multimodal partner.

 ### 15. Robust Research, Convenient Collaboration Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jansen S. | Director - Data, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I like the web search and deep research capabilities of Perplexity, especially because it always cites its sources, which is great for research. The use of multiple models is something I appreciate, and shared conversations are really helpful for preparing for meetings and synthesizing insights from internal discussions across multiple mediums. I also like the local MCP feature, although I wish it had connectivity to external sources. Discovery and news features have been surprisingly integrated into my morning routine, and as a founder, the robust research capabilities help me get to my outcomes faster. Shared conversations are beneficial for ritualized meeting planning, connecting to Slack where our team provides updates, and it synthesizes insights into our meeting deck format, saving a lot of time. I find it valuable for trend analysis across teams and projects over time. The initial setup was very easy too.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I'd love external MCP support. Working document like a ChatGPT canvas would be handy.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity for explanation, idea discovery, and industry research. It's a common advisor bot for our team. The research capabilities are robust, speeding up my outcomes. Shared conversations help with meeting planning and trend analysis, saving a lot of time.

 ### 16. Perplexity AI: Lightning-Fast Resume & Email Hero

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pournami p. | Audit analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

Perplexity feels fast and “one tap” because it gives direct, synthesized answers instead of a long list of links, pulling from multiple reliable sources in real time so you don’t need to open many tabs or scroll through SEO content the way you often do on Google. Many users who do research or professional work find that this answer-first design cuts their search time significantly while still keeping everything verifiable through citations, which makes it natural to stop using Google for most everyday queries.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Sometimes Perplexity delivers inaccurate answers or misinterprets queries, and even repeating the request multiple times fails to correct it, which is incredibly frustrating. This stems from AI models predicting patterns rather than truly comprehending context, leading to persistent errors on nuanced or ambiguous prompts despite iterations.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity has been incredibly helpful for resume rewriting and email writing, delivering fast, tailored outputs that align perfectly with job descriptions, ATS requirements, and professional tone, saving hours of manual editing while boosting callback chances. Users in similar career stages report it excels at keyword optimization, bullet-point restructuring, and generating polished cover letters or application emails that sound authentic yet recruiter-approved, making complex tasks like JD-matching or interview prep feel effortless. This practical edge, combined with its speed, explains why it often replaces traditional tools for daily professional workflows.

 ### 17. Rapid Answers with Web Search Advantage

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I really appreciate how Perplexity helps me with research, answering questions around data, pipelines, and API documentation. I find it valuable as an editor to better write my thoughts out. Instead of searching Google, I can just ask Perplexity and notice that it's faster and usually provides the right answers, plus the references are there so I can check. This saves me from looking through many pages to find what I want. I particularly like the web search and the references because Perplexity searches the web for information, which is useful, especially when the problem has been solved before. Also, the switch from ChatGPT to Perplexity was motivated by the better research tool and web search function. I found the initial setup to be very easy, almost no setup required.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I'm having trouble with the user experience, especially with logging in via Google on different devices. Often, it just doesn't work, which sometimes leads me to quit and use a different provider.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity helps me with research by providing faster and accurate answers with references. Its web search is more effective compared to sifting through many Google pages.

 ### 18. Perplexity: My Super Smart Helper!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mahesh P. | Sr MIS Executive, Accounting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

What I like best about Perplexity is how it always gives super honest answers with real links from the web, so I never worry if something's made up. It's like a magic search that explains hard stuff in easy words, perfect for kids like me.

Super Fast and Smart
It finds info quicker than asking Mom or Dad, and shows where it got it from. No fake facts!

Helps with Everything
From homework to fun ideas, it remembers what we talked about before and makes school fun. I tell all my friends to use it!

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I don't dislike much about Perplexity, but sometimes it asks me to pay for extra stuff when I want more big answers. It's like a game that says "buy coins" after a few free plays.

Small Things That Bug Me
The free part works great for school, but I wish unlimited questions didn't cost money. Also, it can't see my pictures yet, so I can't show it my drawings.

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

It's user friendly interface, and its ai intelligence is upto the mark

It is powerful for research purposes, but sometimes i feel like it is too much overconfident than a accurate ai LLM but overall its good

 ### 20. Reliability and Ease of Use, Ideal for Online Research

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rodrigo Juan H. | IoT Expert - AI Integrator, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

What I like most about Perplexity is its ability to conduct research on the web and obtain data with a certain level of reliability, which allows me to include them in the research I am doing. I appreciate that it provides me with the sources from which it obtains the information, which makes it easier for me to verify that the information is correct and relevant. In general, it almost always provides relevant information for what I am looking for.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Well, it can happen that sometimes a source is not exactly the most relevant, and you have to investigate a bit more. The relevance given to some URLs could be improved a bit.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity to research topics, providing me with verifiable sources and relevant information. It facilitates including my own data and URLs.

 ### 21. A Time-Saving, Versatile Tool That Seamlessly Integrates with Our Workflow

**Reviewed Date:** December 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

It's truly a time saver. I use Perplexity for a wide range of tasks, from conducting research and composing effective emails to gathering up-to-date information. Integrating it with our in-house tool to enable AI agents was also very straightforward. We haven't needed to contact support, as the platform has worked so well that we never even considered reaching out. Overall, it's a great tool.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Everything has been good so far, and it would be even better if they included a human-like AI feature.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It addresses the challenge of creating automated content by using live data to help our website rank better. It has become our go-to platform for finding answers, and it is very convenient for us to depend on it. Previously, we spent a lot of time researching and searching for reliable data in different places, but Perpleciry now brings everything together in one location.

 ### 22. Fast, Reliable Tool for Source-Backed Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harjoth S. | Business Lead, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I use Perplexity on a daily basis whenever I need quick information without hopping across multiple websites. It solves the problem of summarising large, varied sources of information into one place, which saves me time. I also like that it provides answers backed by the sources they come from, because that adds depth and builds confidence. Having answers supported by sources helps me trust the information while still being able to verify it when needed. The initial setup was smooth and easy as well.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

At times it feels too repetitive and provides more deeper info than required.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity to get quick information without opening multiple tabs. It summarizes large and varied sources into one, saving me time and effort.

 ### 23. Fast Processing, But Needs Instruction Clarity

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chawn S. | Virtual & Outside Sales Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I like that Perplexity has the potential to be a really great app for developing. It seems to handle the front end piece well, and even allows you to feed HTML into another app, AI app, or an actual developer. It probably does a good job with that but requires a lot of coaching. I appreciate that it processes a lot quicker than other AI apps, which expedites the process of getting things done. This is really helpful for me since I have a full-time job and still need to manage my time efficiently. It allows me to get the front end completed in a shorter amount of time, maximizing the time I have for other aspects of developing the app. Setting up Perplexity was pretty easy, and I got a free twelve-month pro upgrade, which was a plus.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Perplexity doesn't do well with instructions. I actually spend a lot of time creating an overview of what I need, but it sometimes omits important information without asking for permission. This omission is quite problematic because it's crucial to the development of my app. I asked Perplexity about this, but it initially said it didn't omit anything when it actually did. This happened repeatedly, making me not trust it fully. Additionally, it can't develop the front end shell, which is something I expected it to handle.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity for designing applications, though it doesn't fully solve my front-end issues. It processes tasks faster than other AI apps, allowing me to complete the front-end quicker, freeing up time for other app development tasks.

 ### 24. Makes Search Easy with Helpful Answers and Source Links

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** chitrasen m. | Business Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

It makes your search easy.. let suppose you ask something related to any information, it not only gives you the answer but also give you the reference web address from where the original info has been fetched

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

At first, I used it like ChatGPT—asking random questions and having it do a few tasks. But it was conveyed to me the wrong way, so my expectations weren’t quite aligned. After using it for a while, I understood what it’s really about. I think the Perplexity team should be clearer in the ads so people know what they’re getting from the start.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides so many references that are genuinely helpful. If someone wants to refer to different websites or use different inputs, they can find what they need easily.

 ### 25. Speeds Up Research with AI, But Needs Navigation Tweaks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prasanna S. | TAS Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I use Perplexity for research on companies, prospecting them, and curating my pitches along with refining my emails. It helps me unbottle time, what used to take ages now takes seconds to complete. I find it fast and it enables me to do more. Using Perplexity is a bragging experience for me due to its native AI capabilities in the browser. I particularly like how it builds on first principles and continually improves. Its simple shortcut features and finance capabilities for shortlisting and researching stocks, especially on the Comet browser, are also beneficial. The initial setup was a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Sometimes when I use the browser, it gets stuck, and I have to reboot. Also, when I want to go to a website like facebook.com, I type in 'comet, Facebook' and it gives me a brief about Facebook instead of going to its website. This is irritating because I just wanted to visit the site. They provided a (shift+Enter) option to search on Google, but it's not muscle memory for me yet and it frustrates me.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity for research and prospecting, which saves me time by completing tasks in seconds. Its native AI and shortcut features in the browser are particularly helpful.

 ### 26. Perplexity: Quick Research, Reliable Sources

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ritik J. | Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I find Perplexity to be a great AI search tool for getting quick, accurate answers with sources. The clean interface and fast responses save me a lot of time when researching technical topics. It's really useful for developers and anyone who needs reliable info quickly. I also appreciate that Perplexity provides direct answers with sources, making it easier to trust the information and quickly verify details when needed. The initial setup was very easy, with no complex configuration required, and the intuitive UI meant there wasn’t much of a learning curve, so I was able to get value from it almost immediately. Perplexity works well for quick research and quick knowledge sharing within my small to midsized team environment.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Sometimes the answers can be a bit high level for complex technical topics, and I still need to dig deeper into documentation or other resources. Occasionally, the sources it picks aren't the most relevant for very niche or advanced use cases, so refining sources quality for deep technical queries would be a nice improvement.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity saves me time when researching technical topics by providing quick, accurate answers with sources. I get clear responses in one place, helping to quickly understand concepts and debug issues without jumping between multiple links.

 ### 27. Boosts Coding Efficiency by Minimizing Research Time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kamesh M. | Asp .Net Developer , Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

By reducing the time I spend on research, I am able to dedicate more attention to writing clean code, optimizing queries, and implementing SOLID principles, instead of constantly switching between different tabs.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Perplexity doesn’t yet integrate directly with IDEs or developer workflows, which would make it even more powerful for coding assistance.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity serves as a valuable research assistant for developers, addressing the challenge of scattered and unreliable information by transforming it into quick, dependable insights. This not only enhances my productivity and fosters better collaboration, but also enables me to deliver more effective solutions with greater confidence.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon T. | operations manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

A good selection of models is available, and the Spaces implementation is fantastic. It’s the perfect go-to AI tool for everyday use.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

It’s sometimes hard to tell which model I’m using, and not all models support the same file outputs. Because of that, after a chat I don’t always end up with the export I need.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s become my go-to tool for drafting emails, proofreading letters, and researching information the company might need.

 ### 30. All-in-One Platform for Global AI Models and Seamless Content Creation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keshav K. | Global Senior Manager - Education Technology, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

This platform offers multiple models within a single workflow, allowing you to access the best options from around the world all at once. In addition, it introduces an agentic approach through the Comet browser, which has Perplexity integrated. I find it especially impressive for content creation, and unlike many other models, it does not hallucinate.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

It's not that I dislike it, but I do see an area for improvement. If the current system could provide multiple responses from different models at once, it would give us the chance to validate some of the options ourselves, rather than relying solely on the Best option selection.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, the main issue this tool addresses is content creation, and I consider it the best model available for that purpose. When I use the right prompts, the results I achieve are truly impressive.

 ### 31. Efficient for Content and Research, Needs Better Task Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christine C. | Head of Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I like that Perplexity seems to understand our brand voice and remembers rules very well. It also responds well to feedback, which is great for refining our content writing. I find it useful that it synthesizes the data and links I provide in a meaningful way. Additionally, I felt that the initial setup of Perplexity was easy for my team.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I don't think the way the projects work and tasks work is very intuitive, so I feel like I have one run-on project with lots of different tasks. Also the search feature is either non-existent or I can't find it.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity for finding sources, using internal documents effectively, and summarizing info. It understands our brand voice, remembers rules, and synthesizes data in a useful way.

 ### 32. Quick Answers, Room for Improvement

I appreciate Perplexity for its capacity to deliver concise and well-organized answers that demonstrate a clear understanding of the subject, along with helpful references. This allows me to quickly grasp a topic without the need to sift through numerous sources. The inclusion of references makes the material much easier to understand. Additionally, I found the initial setup to be straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I find that the results can sometimes be too brief, particularly when it comes to more complex or technical subjects. It would also be much more helpful if there were better options for customization.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity enables me to quickly find accurate answers for my daily tasks and analyses. The responses are concise, well-organized, and include clear references, which makes it much easier to grasp topics without having to search through numerous sources.

 ### 33. A Must-Have Research Companion with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mat P.

I really like how easy Perplexity is to use. I find it incredibly valuable that I can use any language model within it, and I appreciate its advanced features and strong connectivity to data sources, which allow me to connect it to various data sources. It's particularly helpful for research and analysis on companies and business development. Plus, it keeps me up to date with news, thanks to its brilliant automated tasks and alerts. Setting up the API was very easy, with no issues at all. I use Perplexity as part of my automations and connect it via the API with other platforms. Overall, it's a tool I recommend 10 out of 10 and talk about it to people every day.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Nothing generally all features are excellent

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 34. Versatile Tool for Research, Troubleshooting, and Faster Answers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I like the versatility of Perplexity, and I use it several times a day. I have threads with details prompts for repetitive work. I've used it to perform data research. I've used it to help me troubleshoot Excel / Google Sheets formulas. And I've also used it as a quicker alternative to sifting through support documentation when trying to learn how to learn knew features or answer questions about software I use.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I have tried to use it to help me draft standardized documentation; however, even when I give it a specific example format / structure for the documentation, the system seems to go rogue and will venture off from the desired structure, which means more rework for me.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity is solving for data research and enhancement that would take days of manual research. Using Perplexity to fill gaps in data that are accessible online takes mere minutes. Perplexity is also saving tons of time troubleshooting complicated Excel or Google Sheets formulas, which is empowering me to build more powerful data-crunching tools for my team. Furthermore, Perplexity makes finding answers to software usage questions super quick and easy, increasing efficiency.

 ### 35. Streamlined Research and Coding with Perplexity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lukas V.

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I use Perplexity for a lot of research tasks, and its ability to link directly to SharePoint sites makes searching through documents much easier. Perplexity's coding ability is impressive, even though I'm not a great coder, it helps solve complex tasks and integrate solutions with ease. Its ability to create spaces linked directly to multiple SharePoints is a big plus for me. The SharePoint integration is what makes Perplexity so valuable because it allows easy uploads from various sources while ensuring data security through NDAs. I am also really impressed with its image generation capabilities. I find the initial setup to be very simple; the interface is super user-friendly and intuitive. Additionally, I love that Perplexity can select the best AI for each task, saving the user from needing multiple licenses and decisions. This feature really makes Perplexity stand out compared to other AI tools.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Revising images almost never works. Perplexity will create a near perfect image and if you ask it something as simple as removing a specific arrow or changing a specific color it will change the entire graphic.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity for research and coding, linking directly to SharePoint sites simplifies searching docs. It solves database size problems, retrieving all relevant info quickly. Perplexity helps with complex coding tasks, like creating VBA scripts for Excel, saving hours in manual work. Its image generation and data security are unmatched.

 ### 36. Intuitive UI, Great for Market Research

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anand J.

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I use Perplexity for my organization work and it really stands out to me. I think it has the best UI of all the available options, which makes it very user-friendly. The answers I get are really good, which helps me in my market research and finance tasks, including trading in stock markets. The Perplexity browser, referred to as the Comet agentic browser, is incredibly helpful for me. It saves me a lot of time by facilitating research and assisting me in making informed decisions, which is crucial in my line of work. Additionally, the initial setup was a piece of cake, super easy to get started with.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

So, basically, in Perplexity Finance, I was looking for the watch list, so there's no watch list in that, which I can create multiple watch lists. And, sometimes the search doesn't work that well. But yeah, basically that.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity for market research and finance purposes, like stock market analysis on TradingView. It saves me time and helps me take informed decisions by applying indicators and offering deep research capabilities.

 ### 37. Perplexity: Essential for Strategic Research

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amaia L.

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I really like Perplexity because it helps me with research at work. When I have to start a new strategic project, I launch a prompt and it informs me about the entire topic. It captures all the relevant sources and helps me create an initial mental structure. I also value the number of sources it visits in 'think longer' mode, so I no longer have to spend hours informing myself on my own. Additionally, Perplexity finds all the sources for me and makes a synthesis, allowing me to delve into the areas that interest me the most by following the suggested links. Another positive aspect is how simple the initial setup was.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Sometimes, when using Perplexity to gather news, it struggles a bit more and might miss capturing some. Also, I feel that for idea generation and brainstorming it might not be the best tool, as it is not very creative and is too literal, strictly based on the sources.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity for research in strategic projects; it helps me gather multiple sources and structure projects quickly. The tool suggests relevant links, which saves time on research and facilitates the synthesis of information.

 ### 38. Supercharges Research with AI and Deep Web Crawling

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tsubasa K. | Chief Executive Officer

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I find Perplexity very fast to use and appreciate its rich data sources, which help me effectively research complex topics. I love that I got into their AI Fellowship Program, enabling me to leverage Perplexity's technology to obtain information quickly, which would take hours manually, particularly with its Deep Research function. This feature is my favorite as it crawls the web in a parallel fashion, uncovering sources I wouldn't have thought to look for and providing a serendipitous exploratory search system. Perplexity makes summarizing complex research papers and news much easier, allowing me to create insights and use them in my workplace. Setting it up was a breeze, which added to the ease of integrating it into my work process.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I noticed that on my Norton anti-virus environment, the exported PDF is sometimes flagged as being a Phishing PDF. If that could be solved, it will be good, since many PDFs get quarantined in my environment.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity provides quick frameworks for complex code like Qiskit, enriching my research capabilities. I summarize complex papers fast, saving research time and boosting productivity with the Deep Research function for exploratory searching, leading to serendipitous discoveries.

 ### 39. Revolutionized Research Routine with Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nandhu S.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I use Perplexity for research of features to build, managing daily doubts, and searches. I really like the scheduled triggers, which help me automate most of my daily routine searches and receive the results directly in my email. The user experience for the chat and images stands out, as the UI/UX of Perplexity is much more interesting and intuitive compared to other LLM apps. The initial setup of Perplexity is very easy, and on a scale from 1 to 10, I'd definitely rate my likelihood of recommending it a 10.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

The research can be more thorough. If it can generate diagrams, action plans, workflows it would be a lot better. I use it with other chatbots when I want to summarize the answers because Perplexity will search web again if I ask to summarize a result.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity to avoid the hassle of opening multiple websites for solutions. Scheduled triggers automate my routine searches and deliver results directly to my email. Its intuitive UI/UX makes it a standout among LLM apps.

 ### 40. Essential Tool for Technical Searches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesús Ferre E.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I love how Perplexity gives me quite comprehensive answers in the format I request. It is especially useful for searching the state of the art of a technology with bibliography in APA format, using only peer-reviewed literature. The results obtained are excellent, and I only have to make small modifications to use them in my projects. I also appreciate the ease of initial setup, which was very simple. I switched from ChatGPT to Perplexity because I was given the Perplexity fellowship and started getting better results.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Perplexity needs prompts that greatly limit the sources and the response to approximate what I want. Additionally, the creation of files and applications generates files that are not useful, for example, they come in a txt format which is not useful. It should present the files in other more common formats.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity for bibliographic searches and state-of-the-art reviews in deep mode, and it helps me with technical standards. The responses are complete and in the format I request, which is excellent for my projects, requiring only small modifications.

 ### 41. Grounded AI for Strategic Product Development

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubham J.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

When I started using Perplexity, I really liked that I could reference where it got its answers from, providing a sense of groundedness that helped me choose Perplexity over other AI bots. Over time, I appreciated the ability to have different models available on Perplexity. The availability of the latest models immediately after their launch is also something I highly value. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy for us.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Image generation is something which I feel Perplexity lacks. It's not as good as Gemini. The fact that it can't generate PDFs well enough is another issue. I know they can generate PDFs and docs now, but I have issues a lot of times when they said they generated something, but it never actually was generated. There are a lot of integrations available already, but I would like more such as Snowflake.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity to solve product strategy issues, design roadmaps, ideate new features, and perform competitive analysis, including researching competitors' market strategies and customer insights.

 ### 42. Fast, Source-Cited Answers That Turn Messy Topics Into Clear Summaries

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Outsourcing/Offshoring | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

What I like best about Perplexity is how quickly it gets me from a vague question to a usable answer with sources I can actually verify. The cited results and follow-up suggestions make it easy to go deeper without opening 15 tabs, and I can turn a messy topic into a clear summary in minutes. I use it daily to sanity-check information, compare options, and draft first-pass notes for emails and docs, especially when I’m short on time but still need to be accurate. I also use it as my assistant.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

Sometimes Perplexity can be a bit too detailed for what I need. Even when I ask for a short, high-level answer, it may still return a long response with lots of citations and extra context, which slows me down when I’m trying to move quickly.

Another limitation for me is that it can’t easily read or follow context across other threads/conversations, so I end up repeating background and re-explaining the same details. I’d love more consistent controls for “keep it brief” (strict length and fewer sources) and better cross-thread context support or a way to reference prior threads when needed.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity is solving the “too much information, not enough time” problem in my work. It helps me quickly digest long documents and research-heavy topics, then turn them into clear, source-backed takeaways I can actually use in decision-making.

Before using it, I spent hours jumping between tabs, reading dense reports end-to-end, and manually compiling links for leadership updates. Now I can benchmark new hiring regions globally, sanity-check market and compensation signals, and outline strategic options much faster, often cutting research and synthesis time from hours to under an hour, because the answers come with citations and a structured narrative.

This has improved my workflow by making early-stage analysis faster and more consistent: I can produce cleaner briefs, shareable notes, and better-informed recommendations without losing traceability to sources. It’s especially valuable when I’m working on company strategy, talent-market mapping, or any topic where I need both speed and credibility

 ### 43. Versatile and Fast, But Occasionally Incomplete

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frank D. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I use Perplexity daily to help me understand what's going on across different industries that I track and for recipes and meal planning. I enjoy using it for deeper research on topics I come across during the day where I want to learn more. Perplexity gives me an experience with AI using different references and sources, which gives me greater confidence that I'm getting useful and accurate information. It does this very quickly, saving me a lot of time. The app is on my iPhone and Mac, and I can access it from browsers on other computers, making it a very easy experience. I like its voice technology, which allows me to put Perplexity on speaker and ask it questions while I'm cooking, enabling multitasking as it gives me insights as I work. The initial setup was easy and instant.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I have found that in the last six months, the quality of some of the outputs are either abbreviated or not completely. I've had to ask Perplexity if it could verify its answers from a previous response, and often they will be corrected.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity to understand various industries, plan meals, and research topics, plus it gives me confidence with accurate info from different sources. It's fast, saving me time, and I like its ease of use and voice tech for multitasking.

 ### 44. Valuable Insights with Some Growing Pains

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Konstantin K.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I really like that Perplexity includes their sources. In my line of work, the accuracy of information is super important, so this feature allows me to quickly refer back to the original source document to verify that the information is, in fact, true. This makes analyzing and screening for actual insights much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I don't like that there's frequent UI changes, and it seems like also recently one of the models has been changed out or some prompting changes have been made that have led to the prompts that I have been using previously to significantly degrade in performance. And, it feels like Perplexity has just been rambling rather than giving me the output that I would have expected.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity helps me aggregate data from different sources, ensuring accuracy and allowing me to quickly analyze and find true insights. It includes source documentation for fact-checking, which is crucial in my work.

 ### 45. Streamlined Research with Precision

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I use Perplexity mostly for research, especially when I need to reference a scientific claim. It significantly speeds up the process of searching through references manually. I appreciate its accuracy since the output nearly always cites the right papers with the correct links. I also enjoy using Deep Research for more involved projects and appreciate how it can turn dull spreadsheets into interactive dashboards. The time-saving aspect is really important for me because while I could do these tasks with other tools, Perplexity speeds the whole process up. The initial setup was super easy, with no issues at all.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I think more use cases. I'd like to see examples where Perplexity adds value compared with other language models I use.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity to speed up research, making it easier to reference scientific claims quickly. It's accurate, providing correct citations and links, and it saves time by turning spreadsheets into interactive dashboards.

 ### 46. Perplexity: Time Saving with Useful Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alberto E.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I like to use Perplexity mainly as an intelligent search engine, as it saves me time in deep research about my clients, their industries, and the signals and trends that may impact them. Its ability to connect with tools like Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Statista is excellent, as it allows me to access work documents and quickly link them with Perplexity to draft and develop proposals or reports. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

The voice function doesn't work very well, the Spanish accent is very bad and also when I want to interact with it in the car it's a problem, it's not always smooth. If you manage to improve the experience of interacting with the car mode and voice, it would be a hit.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity as an intelligent search engine, saving time on in-depth research about clients, industries, and trends. I can also quickly access documents through integrations with Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Statista, which helps me draft proposals and reports.

 ### 47. Perplexity: Streamlined R&D, Exceptional Usability, but Room for Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darren C. | Founder | CEO

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I guess what I like the most about Perplexity is its ease of use. It's very straightforward. Perplexity has been really good in allowing us to use it across the team, and we iterate together throughout the product. We use it almost like in an information management kind of way and as a source of truth, checking statistics and data points. For our scientific research, we constantly pull information from third-party websites using it. Right now, my favorite aspect is the combination with Comet, which is so powerful and unique. I think Perplexity has a really great way of adapting to my personal writing style and tone, so I often use it for creating the initial structure for a LinkedIn post or to build prompts for videos. I use it extensively on a daily basis for many different aspects of our business, and it's a critical piece of our technology platform. I think the initial setup was very easy, and I was impressed with it. The way it supports security is really straightforward, and I love how Perplexity incorporates new features and gets the team to use them effectively.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I would like to see Perplexity improve in understanding more complex prompt architecture. It would be helpful to have versioning of prompts and a workflow to manage and compare them over time. Also, Perplexity is not as seamless in code building compared to other platforms. Its integration with open-source environments and tools like Calendaring and video platforms is lacking as well. It doesn't support standards like Caldev or video standards like SIP, which limits its utility.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity as the foundation of our R&D, intelligence around workflows, understanding toxicology and consumer habits. It helps with compliance, guidelines, and competitive intelligence. It's also a great tool for information management, providing a source of truth and aiding in scientific research.

 ### 48. A Discovery Partner for Informed Decisions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan H.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I use Perplexity for everything from deep account research to understanding what's happening in the market around us. It's a great tool to get general information on things I might otherwise be wrong about at first. It's my best discovery partner, helping me understand not just what I want to know, but how to understand things better by identifying gaps in my understanding and supporting those gaps with research. I like that I don't have to rely on the anecdotes or opinions of others to sway my decision-making because Perplexity provides very good information that helps me form my own conclusions. I really appreciate being able to customize it and trigger daily information runs. Plus, it basically replaces other providers like Google for searching and getting answers, which is a huge plus. Dictation is super helpful too—I can just talk to it and get answers without needing to search the right way with prompt engineering.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I would love to see how we can bring it into the command line. Because I think that that would complement other ways that I work with AI really well.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity for deep account research and understanding market trends, helping me understand better and fill gaps with research. It provides good information that aids personal decision-making without relying on others' opinions.

 ### 49. Powerful Research Tool with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nimish P. | Co-Founder

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

I love that Perplexity offers multiple sets of models, including the latest ones, which I can use. The labs feature is something I love overall, especially how it allows for prototyping and takes it to the next level. I appreciate how context sharing helps protect my team's time by allowing us to use shared contexts efficiently. The multistep processes in the labs feature are also great.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

I still miss out on features like plot code and certain types of outputs I directly want to use. For example, if I want something in a better voice or how Claude writes emails, those features are sort of missing. If there was access to similar features, I would consider canceling my Claude subscription, but that's not the case yet.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Perplexity for research and prototyping with multiple models. The lab feature helps create useful assets, and context sharing saves my team's time. We can also perform multistep processes efficiently.

 ### 50. Transformative Search Engine with Trustworthy Citations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joey D. | Founder

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Perplexity?**

Perplexity is my go-to search engine and is the starting point for most of my research and questions. I trust Perplexity's responses because it provides citations with links to every fact it claims, which gives me confidence that the info is accurate and up to date. The fact and link citation is key to me, and their news sourcing is great, surfacing really obscure info that's highly dialed in to my interests. Using other LLMs as a search replacement feels like a black box, but with Perplexity, I know where the information is coming from. The setup was super easy too.

**What do you dislike about Perplexity?**

The links can sometimes be buried, making it hard to get a list of resources to other websites because Perplexity tries to keep me on their page. Labs is an interesting idea but I rarely use it. Also, deep research could go deeper; I haven't seen anything go as deep as what ChatGPT can do.

**What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perplexity is my go-to search engine for starting research and quickly preparing reports. I trust its citations with links to verify facts. It surfaces really obscure information tailored to my interests, more effectively than other tools.
