I like that Perplexity has the potential to be a really great app for developing. It seems to handle the front end piece well, and even allows you to feed HTML into another app, AI app, or an actual developer. It probably does a good job with that but requires a lot of coaching. I appreciate that it processes a lot quicker than other AI apps, which expedites the process of getting things done. This is really helpful for me since I have a full-time job and still need to manage my time efficiently. Perplexity doesn't do well with instructions. I actually spend a lot of time creating an overview of what I need, but it sometimes omits important information without asking for permission.
