Unlike many other grammar tools which mostly detect errors in texts, PerfectTense makes it possible to improve sentence structure and make writing sound better, which is quite helpful when it comes to formal writing or documentation. The other feature which makes PerfectTense worth mentioning is its convenience as a writing aid tool. It provides a number of suggestions automatically when typing and works well on all devices. This means that writers will be able to stay focused on writing itself, rather than having to perform constant proofreading. The greatest benefit of using PerfectTense is thus that it does not just detect errors, but makes texts much better. **What do you dislike about PerfectTense?** However, the most significant disadvantage of PerfectTense is the feeling of being less feature-packed than other writing applications when more sophisticated control is required. All the corrections that PerfectTense suggests are color coded. I really like it! It really is free, you do not get bombarded with ads. **What do you dislike about PerfectTense?** Plagiarism is huge right now. There is not a plagiarism checker. And, there is not phone or chat support. If you have issues or have questions, you have to fill out a form and send it in. You never know when you will hear back from them! **What problems is PerfectTense solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is free, and I was able to use it when I had run out of funding at work. I have used Grammerly and there are more options - but it is expensive too.
