Our Perdoo coach was quick to understand our organization and the way we operate, and guide us through the OKR-setting process. The tool is very focused on its use case – they haven't added in a lot of HR functionality that you might find in other tools, and that appears a conscious choice. We were looking for a tool that would bring our strategy out of static docs, and let us track progress toward it. **What do you dislike about Perdoo?** Haven't come across anything yet. We had one bug when we were first evaluating the tool, and it was resolved in a day, which was impressive. **Recommendations to others considering Perdoo:** The success of a tool like Perdoo requires buy-in from the top. Perdoo's resources (e.g., the Youtube videos) helped a lot. It would have probably helped to buy some of the consulting sessions also since none of us were experts in OKRs to being with. **What problems is Perdoo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Aligning the entire company behind a single strategy, and making it transparent to everyone how their individual or team objectives align and feed into the overall company goals. We would love to get notified on Slack in different channels for different objectives and we would like to have a better off- and onboarding each quarter. The online videos and training documents by the CEO are very informative and help a new OKR user quickly learn the powerful benefits of the platform and OKR goal setting methodology. The platform itself is well designed and is very user friendly. The functionality is easy to understand for a new user and the visuals communicate key information around progress and milestones effectively. Perdoo team was also very responsive to customer suggestions to improve the platform. I had the pleasure of working with Rohan(Perdoo Product Consultant). It's helped all team members take ownership. **What do you dislike about Perdoo?** It took a bit of time to get used to the new language, but it's helped in the long run. In our experience, internal adoption of a new tool like Perdoo can take time. Often we've been forced to pull the plug on something because we haven't seen results in fast-enough timeframe. Perdoo seems aware of this challenge and provides capable free tier that will allow your organisation the time it needs to get into an OKR mindset. We look forward to upgrading in the near future. **What do you dislike about Perdoo?** Getting your non-management team members across OKR, and the difference between key results and KPIs can be challenging. While this is not a criticism of the platform pre-see, combined with the granularity & detailed level of the settings in Perdoo, there is a learning curve to get it right, and you will need to spend time with your team training them on the nuances. But to my previous point, they've still got you covered by providing an excellent free tier to get going. **Recommendations to others considering Perdoo:** Perdoo will be a silent achiever in your stack and simplify your strategy process. I love that Perdoo takes you down to the Initiative level (haven't seen this clarity of terms in other platforms) and helps you when you're drafting your OKRs to understand the difference between a KR and an I. Also we went for the coaching bit specifically to get the OKRs 101 online course for our team and it was super useful. **What do you dislike about Perdoo?** Our slack integration isn't fully functional, I get the updates via slack but cannot perform my check in via slack (would have been nice). **What problems is Perdoo solving and how is that benefiting you?** As we scale, we need to be more disciplined in where we put our time and resources, and Perdoo helps ensure that we're putting that effort into areas that are critical for the success of the company. We're using our OKRs as a jumping-off point for leadership team meetings and have had great conversations coming out of it. We like that we are able to create departments and assign responsibilities using the Groups feature, and that has helped us to create clear execution and exercise accountability. **What do you dislike about Perdoo?** Notifications on overdue initiatives or OKRs could be helpful to remind managers to keep it up to date and lean as much as possible. **Recommendations to others considering Perdoo:** I highly recommend using Perdoo to help visualise strategic roadmaps for teams in Marketing, Sales, Product and Customer Service with distributed teams. Go beyond the standard flowchart and/or long-drawn meetings that contribute to overwhelming tasks or more misalignment.
