Per Stirpes is practice software for solo and small estate planning firms. General-purpose practice management tools are built for breadth across every practice type. Per Stirpes is built down one branch of law, so it understands what an estate planner needs: a married couple is one engagement, not two files, and state formalities matter. Every matter lives on a single client record. Clients complete a sectioned intake questionnaire without creating an account, and couples answer one shared intake while the firm reconciles any differences. Those answers become the data every document draws from. Firms upload their own Word templates, map fields once, and see where each value comes from before anything is drafted. Multi-state firms keep a template edition per state. From there, Per Stirpes handles e-signature, self-booked consults and signings, flat-fee packages, Stripe card payments, legal insurance plan claims, and a branded client portal that shows each client their next step. Every change is logged with a full audit trail. Pricing is one flat rate per firm, with unlimited users and clients. Per Stirpes was developed inside a working estate planning practice.
