I tried a few other GPT-3 powered services, and I feel Peppertype has most consistently produced better short-term content. As I'm updating this review in 2023, I should note that my comparison is now outdated, but it was my belief at the time of the original review. There is a lot of room for Peppertype to grow. It focuses on shorter-form content types, offers a decent variety in content types and generally works quite well. They classify many of their content types as long-form, though, which matters if you have a plan like I do, where you have a different amount of short-form vs. long-form words per month. However, their interface surprisingly does not indicate which content types are short-form or long-form, and your monthly usage stats don't even differentiate between short and long-form. Hopefully, they will address this, as I can't see why it would take much effort to fix.

It is disappointing they lack a long-form editor, which is the biggest weakness with Peppertype. The workflow is so lovely with some of their competition, and it can save a significant amount of time. It sounds like they are working on a long-form editor, and I'm confident they will do an excellent job with it from what I've seen from them so far. But I can only review the software in its present state, so this is the main reason for taking off one star.

Unfortunately, since my original review, they've failed to make any significant updates. It seems they are no longer interested in developing Peppertype. There have been long periods with no updates or communication. They've made a few minimal effort updates to the interface, seemingly to make it look like the service isn't completely abandoned. However, there is a ton of competition in the AI writing space, and many other services have constantly been updating and improving.

At least the service still seems to work. I have not been using it actively, but it still seems to work well enough when I have used it. I've heard several users say the output is not as good anymore, but I have not noticed this personally. I will continue to use it. For some things, it can be better than ChatGPT since its focuses on specific short-form content types and isn't locked down as much as ChatGPT. However, I will only use it because I have a lifetime plan without monthly fees. Being an early adopter of Peppertype, I have had the chance to purchase a lifetime license with the promise of having all future updates included. However, Peppertype has pulled a classic bait and switch on the people who believed in them and have supported the product from the start by rebranding the useful parts of the product (claiming they're not part of the deal), locking them behind a paywall and prompting people to upgrade to a measly sum of $399 a month. This makes the product virtually useless unless you pay them. It's interesting to see a company's true nature laid bare once they reach escape velocity and have gained all they could from their early adopters. If you are looking for an AI content writing assistent and would like to support a morally upstanding company rather than an opportunistic, morally corrupt one, please look elsewhere. Myself and many others are early backers with lifetime access from the peppertype.ai platform. 'All future updates' were included in the terms. Now, they are forcing early backers to move to a 'rebranded' setup. I feel cheated for sure but above that all, it's a useless anyway. You maybe better off with picking a php script from codecanyon and plugging in your own GPT API key. Much more affordable and better output than the shady peppertype/pepper content. Pepper contain is a great content duration platform. I have come across pepper content from LinkedIn and have been associated with them for the past 1 year. They have functions and services like content duration, advertising content, SEO based writing which can help your businesses rank on top pages of search engines. Their group of writers are best and the team is very helpful when approached. It was a great experience to know about this company and get great content curated and quality simplified.

I have heard from various news articles too, and trust is what they build for their clients with top notch services efficiently also within the due date. Pepper content has been a very good agency and my experience with them was pretty good with budget friendly packages and quality content. They will leave you no words to complain because their ombudsman mechanism and meeting deadlines are also on point. Their actually nothing to dislike about them entirely. This is an easy way to get content. Pappertype is a quick and easy way to generate content in minutes. It also doesn't take up space on my phone's storage. Sometimes when I'm working on the Pepertype website, I want to copy a piece of text and I don't want to go through all the hassle of translating the text, so I use Google Translate. This was a problem for me when I was trying to copy text from Peppertype and paste it into my blog as it changed some things in my generated text due to google translator translation. I would like the platform to translate the site into Brazilian Portuguese instead of using a page translator.

If I generate the content without the google translation, the text generates correctly with the Portuguese language of Portugal, as the platform still does not have Portuguese Brazil anyway, I have to make some changes. The platform is wonderful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The content generation functionality in this tool is just awesome! Now I haven't used the long for content generation as of yet, as that is still missing from the tool. But as Peppertype stands today you can still achieve the same functionality using its individual short content types. But yes, the AI is my cup of tea right here. The interface is sleek and easy to use, it's really affordable even free plan with 10K WORDS (not characters) will be sufficient for many.
