PeopleKeep and our QSEHRA plan have been an incredibly affordable alternative to standard health insurance policies for our startup not-for-profit agency. Expense requests are approved quickly, and the whole process of approving and reimbursing expenses is very easy and straightforward. There isn't much that I dislike, if anything. It would be nice to have integration with Gusto, our payroll platform, but PeopleKeep is still simple to use without the integration. My favorite thing about PeopleKeep is the dedicated support they provide to our staff. What do you dislike about PeopleKeep by Remodel Health? I have not found downsides. One thing I have had to do is "resend" invites to new employees who missed them the first time. As a small business owner, or primarily child bearing aged women, I am consistently priced out of healthcare covereage that we can afford. often, employees can get their own policy for cheaper than a group policy would be. The only upside I can think of is at least it's cheaper than sponsoring group health insurance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about PeopleKeep by Remodel Health? We've used peoplekeep for 2 years. When the claims were only insuance premium reimbursement, we didn't seen issues. But when you need anything beyond that (more involved claims, employees having issues with the website/userminterface, billing issues, etc), the customer service is very bad. The only time I've ever been able to talk with someone on the phone was the initial sales call when I signed up. After that you're working through problems by email with people who respond on their own timeline. Then they auto-renewed me for 2023 for employees that had been removed from the program because they left the company. I pointed this out on the day I was charged but I was told (through another email exchange) they don't give refunds even if you were charged a service fee for people who are ineligible for the service. They reimburse healthcare and then state they reimburse for procedures but will never pay out even after weeks of getting multiple invoices to satisfy them. No reimbursement for medical procedures, medical supplies or anything else as your healthcare reimbursement is all that is covered under their guise of a company. If you go through the trouble of submitting for reimbursement don't be surprised if they state you already have your full year's reimbursement. I used them foe 2 years and only submitted one procedure. The submission pro ess took over a month. They verified and never got back to me. Contacted my company's financial department and was told I already got all my yearly allowance. Worst company I've dealt with. Use a real healthcare company not this company that doesn't even have a phone number. You have to schedule them to call you and that is weeks our. I like the ability to offer benefits that staff can tailor to their own circumstances and to have a streamlined way to manage reimbursements. PeopleKeep documentation and blogs are full of helpful information and my experience with customer support has been positive. PeopleKeep solves the problem of offering a benefit that only a few staff members really need or can even use. Prior to having a QSEHRA, we offered a group plan that only one employee was using. Now, all eligible employees can use it for various healthcare needs. Some of our younger employees have their healthcare premiums subsidized at almost 100%. Under our group health insurance, they would only have received a 50% subsidy. Having the QSEHRA and using PeopleKeep to manage it has been a plus in attracting employees. I have had my account cut off, it takes up to 4 weeks to schedule an appointment to talk to anyone, there is not a number to call to talk to anyone, YE rollovers do not work, reimbursements are wrong. I had to reach out to their CEO on LinkedIn for a complaint and her response - you will have to wait your turn to talk to support. This is one of the worst software vendors I have ever worked with!
