## Access PeopleHR Reviews
 ### 1. Brilliant all-in-one HR Platform!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Georgia-Beth M. | HR Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I find Access PeopleHR brilliant for keeping records of staff documents. It is really useful for maintaining staff documentation and tracking sickness or holiday bookings. The system allows managers to easily access individual employees' holiday and planning details which helps them upload any training they've done and ensures they get the necessary signatures. I find it to be a really safe way to store important documents like right to work documents or DBS checks. Additionally, it is helpful for pulling information for tasks such as payroll, sickness, holiday, and annual leave. Overall, I really like these features. The logbook is an excellent way to keep on top of required training and qualifications. I think the flexibility of the HR Admin section with the queries is brilliant, I find it really easy to pull off any information and data about staff off in whatever format I need. I often have other members of senior staff requesting different kinds of Data and People HR makes it so simple to pull off whatever information is needed.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

I think the organizational chart could be developed a bit further. It would be great if it could be pulled off as a PDF or printed out and be easily understandable. We often have multiple managers who need insight into different employees, so having the option to edit it to clearly show who their director or line manager is would be helpful.

I also often find glitches etc when it comes to viewing uploaded documents. It quite often comes up with a 'oops something went wrong when trying to view them.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Access PeopleHR for keeping staff records, tracking sickness and holidays, and uploading training documents. It's safe for storing important documents like right to work and DBS checks, and helps with payroll by pulling off necessary information. It's stops you from needing multiple systems e.g. separate annual leave booking platforms and employee record platforms. I love that it has everything you need from an HR point of view in one place.

 ### 2. Intuitive, Great Value HR Tool with Helpful Reporting and Easy Document Signing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Atom B. | Finance Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

It's really easy to use - for me as administrator, and for the employees on the other side of the software. It's intuitive - I rarely have to look up how to do anything, and users are comfortable navigating around it.

The price is really reasonable for the functionality - especially for smaller businesses. The reports are helpful and allow at-a-glance assessment of where our people management is up to.

We especially like the document management and signing - it's really simple and new employees find it easy to use for their onboarding.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

I've used the system with previous businesses, and so was ready to buy and get on with using it, and they wanted to take the onboarding process a bit slower - but I fully appreciate that most people take longer with their buying decisions that I did this time (only because I have prior experience of the software).

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding and document management is the biggest win for me.

 ### 3. Everything in One Tool - A Single Source of Truth That Eliminates HR Bottlenecks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicola V. | Localisation Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

What I like best is how the platform acts as a centralized "single source of truth" for my entire employment history.
Instead of the usual administrative friction—like emailing HR to ask about holiday balances or searching through old folders for pay stubs—I have total autonomy through the self-service dashboard. The Absence Planner and the performance module have completely eliminated the "back-and-forth" emails I used to deal with. Being able to see my goals, tax documents, and real-time leave accruals in one professional interface saves me significant time and allows me to focus on my actual work rather than paperwork.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

While the platform is very effective overall, the navigation and UI consistency can occasionally be a bit of a hurdle. I find that when the system undergoes updates, menu items sometimes shift or the layout changes slightly, which requires a bit of re-learning to find certain historical documents or specific settings. Additionally, the login process can be slightly clunky; the portal doesn't always remember my company-specific redirect, so I occasionally have to enter my credentials or work email twice to land on the correct dashboard. Streamlining these small navigation quirks and ensuring a more persistent login experience would make the daily user journey feel a bit more seamless.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary problem Access PeopleHR solved for us was a fragmented, email-heavy HR process. Before using the platform, simple tasks like requesting leave or checking my salary history required multiple 'back-and-forth' emails with HR, which was a major time-sink.
Now, the benefit is total self-service. I can find answers to my own HR queries instantly. This autonomy has removed the administrative bottleneck and allows me to focus on my actual work. It has essentially turned a multi-day communication process into a 30-second self-service task.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your detailed feedback, Nicola. It’s fantastic to hear how much value you’re getting from PeopleHR as a central “single source of truth” for HR information. Knowing that self-service features like the Absence Planner, performance tools and document access are helping eliminate back-and-forth admin and save valuable time is exactly what we aim for.

We also appreciate your thoughtful feedback around navigation consistency and the login experience. Insights like this are really valuable, especially around making the platform feel even more seamless and intuitive following updates.

It’s great to hear the system has helped remove HR bottlenecks and made everyday tasks significantly quicker and easier to manage.

 ### 4. Powerful People Analytics and Seamless Payroll Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sherolyne F. | People and Culture Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

The new people analytics feature is an excellent tool that enables you to explore a wide range of data. Additionally, the PHR system serves as an effective solution for maintaining employee records and integrating payroll processes.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

There are currently many system changes happening, and while these are all positive, the guides are only truly helpful once you already know what you need to find. During the initial stages of a rollout, things can be a bit confusing, making it challenging for administrators to get up to speed and feel confident before introducing the changes to the wider business.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The payroll integration has significantly improved both accuracy and efficiency for us. It has saved considerable time internally and enhanced precision, thanks to the professional and dedicated support provided. PeopleHR has also streamlined many manual tasks through the use of ripples, eliminating the need to hire additional staff. This has enabled us to upskill our existing team and redirect their efforts toward more meaningful projects.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback Sherolyne. It’s great to hear the new people analytics, payroll integration and Ripples are driving efficiency for your team. We appreciate your point on rollout guidance, which is shaping how we improve onboarding and in-product support. You can follow updates via our PeopleHR roadmap hub.

 ### 5. Excellent System

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris F. | Senior HR Business Partner , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

Absence and holiday management is genuinely one of the strongest parts of the system — it's straightforward for managers to approve, easy for employees to self-serve, and the visibility we get across the workforce is excellent. The employee records and self-service side has also taken a lot of admin pressure off the HR team; people can update their own details, request time off, and access documents without needing us to intervene. Reporting is another area I lean on heavily — once you've built the reports you need, pulling workforce data for leadership is quick and reliable.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

The interface can be a bit inconsistent. The layout shifts more than I'd expect between updates, and the system displays quite differently depending on whether I'm working from my laptop or my external monitor — menus and buttons don't always sit where I expect them to. It's not a dealbreaker, but it does mean a bit of re-learning every so often.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us a single source of truth for employee data and absence, which has cut down on manual tracking and back-and-forth emails massively. The self-service element frees the HR team up to focus on the more strategic work rather than admin queries.Quick reporting and tracking of headcount

**Official Response from Lucy Kirk:**

> Thank you for the excellent review! We're thrilled to hear you find PeopleHR easy to use, accurate, and fast for reporting and onboarding new employees. We appreciate your feedback regarding further reporting enhancements, we will pass this on to the product team.

 ### 6. All-in-One HR Hub That Makes Everyday Tasks Faster

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joanna M. | Service Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

Access PeopleHR is really helpful because everything you need is in one place, so you’re not having to chase different systems or email HR all the time. It makes things quicker since a lot of the admin is automated, and you can do simple stuff yourself like booking annual leave, checking payslips, or updating your details without waiting for someone else. It’s also easy to use on your phone, which is handy, and you can see useful info like your records or company updates whenever you need. Overall, it just makes everyday HR tasks a lot smoother and less time-consuming, both for employees and HR.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

What I don’t like about PeopleHR is that the login process can sometimes be a bit confusing, as it doesn’t always take you straight to your company-specific login page, which can slow things down and be frustrating.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR is mainly solving the problem of messy, time-consuming HR processes—like having information spread across emails, spreadsheets, and different systems—and turning it into one simple, organised place. It brings everything together (employee records, holidays, payroll, documents), which means you don’t have to waste time searching for things or doing the same task multiple times.

From an employee point of view, this benefits me because it makes everyday things much easier and quicker—I can find my details, book leave, or check updates without having to go through HR. It also helps keep things accurate (like payroll and records), so there are fewer mistakes, and everything feels more reliable. Overall, it just makes HR tasks faster, more organised, and less stressful to deal with.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Joanna. It’s great to hear how much value you’re getting from having everything in one place, especially being able to handle things like booking leave, checking payslips and updating details without needing to go through HR. That kind of self-service really does make everyday tasks quicker and smoother.

We’re also pleased the mobile access and automation are helping reduce admin and keep things organised across your team.

We appreciate your comment around the login experience. We understand how frustrating that can be when it doesn’t take you straight where you need to go, so that’s really helpful feedback for us to take on board.

It’s fantastic to hear the platform is helping simplify processes and make HR less time-consuming overall.

 ### 7. Makes Manager-to-Payroll/HR Info Transfers Much Easier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin H. | Senior Compensation Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

It makes the transfer of information between managers and payroll/HR much easier. Plus staff can request and view information much easier too.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

Some areas aren't automated as I'd expect. For example, when adding maternity leave you need to manually zero out and public holidays during this period.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we had PHR changes were just emailed through. This made it hard to track historic changes and when they were made. Annual leave was especially difficult as that was done via paper requests at each site across the group. Leave was tracked by each manager at each site, and the paper copies of leave approved was emailed to payroll to track as well. This led to many variances in what leave had been taken across the group.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Martin. It’s great to hear PeopleHR has made the transfer of information between managers, payroll and HR much more efficient, while also giving staff easier access to the information they need.

We’re also pleased to hear the system has helped improve visibility and consistency around annual leave tracking compared to previous paper-based and email-driven processes.

We appreciate your comments around automation, particularly for maternity leave and public holiday handling. That’s really valuable feedback, as reducing manual adjustments in these scenarios can make a big difference for payroll and HR teams.

It’s great to hear the platform is helping streamline processes and improve accuracy across your organisation overall.

 ### 8. A Practical and Reliable HR Solution for Everyday Business Needs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Environmental Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

What I like best about Access PeopleHR is its simple, centralised approach to managing everyday HR tasks, making it easy for employees to update their information, book holidays, and use the “Thank You” feature to support a positive workplace culture. The platform performs reliably for daily use and helps reduce administrative workload through effective self-service. It also offers useful integrations with other business systems, making it easier to connect HR processes across the organisation. Pricing is generally competitive for the functionality provided, and support is available when needed to resolve issues. Additionally, the inclusion of AI-driven features and automation helps streamline processes, even if these capabilities are still relatively basic compared to more advanced systems.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

The main drawbacks of Access PeopleHR are its dated user interface and relatively limited customisation options, which can make it less flexible for more complex HR requirements. Reporting and analytics are fairly basic, particularly for tracking absence trends and performance insights. The performance management tools, while functional, lack the depth of more advanced systems and can feel slightly cumbersome to use. Additionally, while integrations exist, they are not as extensive as some competing platforms, and the overall user experience, especially on mobile, can be less intuitive than expected.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR helps solve the challenge of managing HR processes efficiently by centralising employee data, holiday tracking, and performance reviews in one system. It reduces reliance on manual processes, spreadsheets, and email-based requests, which can be time-consuming and prone to errors.
By introducing employee self-service, it allows staff to manage their own information and submit requests directly, saving time for both employees and HR teams. The holiday and absence tracking tools improve transparency and help avoid scheduling conflicts, while the performance review and recognition features support ongoing employee development and engagement.
Overall, this leads to improved efficiency, better organisation of HR data, and a smoother experience for both managers and employees, allowing the business to focus more on strategic activities rather than administrative tasks.

 ### 9. Flexibility to personalise data you store and report

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

The ability to build "Logbooks" which allow us to capture non-standard data. This is really important in our industry which is highly regulated and requires us to monitor or report on information that might not typically be required by standard HR teams.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

The holiday and working pattern function does not work well for some of our workforce. Due to the nature of the industry we have staff on random rosters and this is managed on a specalised system outside of the system. It means holiday booking for this team also needs to be outside the system unfortunately. This is a very industry specific issue due to one group of workforce and the system works better for our more standard working patterns.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having on central database for documents and other information is assisting us as the team and company scale up. For our industry we require a lot of specific information not typically reported on, the logbook function and the ability to build reports from this allows me to do this. The hotsheet function allows me to then build live spreadsheets which update each time they are open. This improves the reporting across departments as it allows other teams access to this data without needing any additional permissions on the system.

 ### 10. Stable Core HRIS, but Dated, Clunky, and Limited Flexibility for the Price

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

PeopleHR meets core HR system requirements and provides a single place to store employee data, manage basic processes, and maintain records. It is broadly functional for core administration (e.g. employee records, basic absence tracking, document storage), and once set up, it can be used in a consistent way across a business.
The platform is stable enough for day-to-day use, and it covers the fundamentals required of an HRIS without major barriers to entry.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

The system lacks flexibility and feels dated in several key areas. Many modules do not align well with modern HR practices, and configuration/customisation options are limited.
Overall, the system can feel clunky, and processes are often shaped around system limitations rather than good HR practice. I would not consider it to offer strong value for money, particularly when compared to alternative providers that could deliver a similar level of service at a significantly lower cost.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR solves the basic need for centralising employee data and supporting core HR administration, such as record-keeping, absence tracking, and standard workflows. This provides a degree of consistency and structure across HR processes and ensures there is a single system of record.
However, the benefit is largely limited to these core administrative functions. The system does not significantly enhance efficiency or enable more modern, strategic HR practices, and in some areas requires workarounds due to its limitations. As a result, while it supports day-to-day operations at a basic level, the overall business impact is relatively modest.

 ### 11. Centralised HR Data That Makes Trend Analysis and Reporting Easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saman H. | Step up data analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

What I like best about Access PeopleHR is that it keeps employee data, absence records, and HR information in one central place. From a data analyst perspective, this makes it easier to review trends, check data consistency, and support reporting around headcount, attendance, and workforce planning.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

What I dislike about Access PeopleHR is that some reporting options can feel limited when you need deeper analysis. I would like more flexibility to customise reports, combine different HR data fields, and export data in a cleaner format for further analysis in Excel or Power BI. Sometimes it also takes extra checking to make sure the data is consistent across different sections.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR helps solve the problem of scattered HR data by keeping employee records, absence information, and key workforce details in one system. This benefits me as a data analyst because it makes reporting easier, improves data visibility, and helps me analyse trends such as absence, headcount changes, and staff movement more accurately.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Saman. It’s great to hear PeopleHR is helping centralise HR data and making it easier to analyse trends around absence, headcount and workforce planning. From a reporting and analytics perspective, having everything in one place can make a huge difference to visibility and consistency.

We appreciate your detailed feedback around reporting flexibility and exports. That’s really valuable insight, especially around combining data fields and improving compatibility for deeper analysis in tools like Excel and Power BI. Your comments around data consistency checks are also really helpful.

It’s great to hear the platform is supporting more accurate reporting and helping improve workforce data visibility overall.

 ### 12. User-Friendly HR System with Solid Value

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alessandro I. | FD, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I find Access PeopleHR to be a reliable and easy-to-use HR system that effectively handles core needs such as employee records, absence tracking, and document management. I appreciate the self-service features for reducing admin time. The interface is very practical, offering great value for money. I also like the smooth setup process, and it seems that the staff respond well to it based on the good feedback we receive.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

The reporting feature of Access PeopleHR could be improved. Sometimes it's not very clear how to build reports.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR keeps all employee data in one place, streamlines hiring and onboarding, manages absences easily, supports performance reviews, and reduces manual HR admin with features like expense form uploads.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Alessandro. It’s great to hear you’re finding PeopleHR reliable and easy to use, and that it’s supporting your core HR processes like employee records, absence tracking and document management. It’s also good to know the self-service features are helping reduce admin time and that your team is responding well to the system.

We’re pleased the setup was smooth and that you’re seeing good value from the platform overall.

We appreciate your comments around reporting. That’s really useful feedback, as making report building clearer and more intuitive is key to getting the most out of your data.

It’s great to hear the system is helping streamline onboarding, manage absences and reduce manual work across your HR processes.

 ### 13. Access PeopleHR Keeps HR Records Organized and Easy to Manage

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mina B. | Assistant Financial Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

What I like best about Access PeopleHR is how easy it is to use for day-to-day HR tasks. As an Assistant Accountant, I use it to check employee details, absence records, holidays, and payroll-related information when needed. The system is straightforward, saves time, and helps keep employee information organised and easy to access.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

One thing I dislike about Access PeopleHR is that some reports and payroll-related information can take a little time to find, especially when you need specific details quickly. It would be helpful if the reporting options were more flexible and easier to customise. However, overall the system is useful and straightforward for everyday HR tasks.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR helps solve the problem of keeping employee information, holiday records, absences, and payroll-related details in one place. As an Assistant Accountant, this makes it easier for me to check relevant information quickly, support payroll processes, and avoid unnecessary back-and-forth with HR. It saves time, improves organisation, and helps make month-end and payroll-related tasks smoother

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Mina. It’s great to hear PeopleHR is helping keep employee records, absences, holidays and payroll-related information organised and easy to access. It’s especially good to know the system is supporting your payroll processes and helping save time during busy periods like month-end.

We appreciate your comments around reporting and finding specific payroll information quickly. That’s really valuable feedback, as flexibility and ease of customisation are important for users who need quick access to detailed information.

It’s great to hear the platform is making day-to-day HR and payroll tasks smoother overall.

 ### 14. Straightforward, Reliable HR System That Streamlines Day-to-Day Administration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda P. | HR Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

What I like most about Access PeopleHR is how straightforward and user friendly it is for day to day HR tasks. The system keeps everything in one place which makes managing employee records, documents, annual leave, sickness, and training much easier and more organised.

I particularly like the self service features as they reduce a lot of admin time for HR while also giving managers and employees easy access to the information they need. The document storage and tracking functions are also really useful from a compliance perspective as it helps keep records accurate and accessible.

Another positive is that the system is flexible enough to support different HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, and absence management. Overall, I find it to be a reliable system that supports efficiency and helps streamline HR administration effectively.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

One thing I dislike about Access PeopleHR is that some areas of the system can feel less intuitive than others, particularly when running reports or trying to customise workflows. Certain tasks can take longer than expected until you become familiar with the system.

I also feel that some processes could be more streamlined, as there can sometimes be multiple steps to complete simple actions. Occasionally the system can feel slightly slow when navigating between pages or loading larger amounts of information.

While the overall functionality is good, I think there could be improvements to the reporting capabilities and flexibility of certain features to make them more user friendly and efficient for day to day HR administration.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR helps solve a lot of the administrative and organisational challenges that come with managing HR processes manually or across multiple systems. Having employee records, annual leave, sickness, documents, training, and recruitment information all stored in one place makes processes much more efficient and easier to manage.

It has particularly helped reduce manual administration and improved visibility across HR tasks, which saves time and supports better organisation. The self service functions also reduce the need for constant HR involvement in routine requests, allowing managers and employees to access information directly when needed.

From a compliance perspective, it helps ensure important documents, training records, and employee information are stored securely and can be accessed quickly when required. Overall, it benefits me by improving efficiency, reducing paperwork, supporting better record keeping, and making day to day HR administration much more streamlined.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your detailed feedback., Amanda. It’s great to hear how much value you’re getting from PeopleHR, particularly around having everything centralised in one place and how the self-service features are helping reduce admin for both HR teams and employees. It’s also great to know the platform is supporting areas like onboarding, absence management, compliance and document tracking effectively.

We really appreciate your balanced feedback around reporting, workflow customisation and navigation. Insights like this are incredibly valuable, especially around making processes more intuitive, flexible and efficient for day-to-day use.

It’s fantastic to hear the system is helping improve organisation, reduce paperwork and streamline HR administration overall.

 ### 15. All-in-One HR Hub with Helpful Reports and Brilliant Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I like that everything is in one place. You can create helpful reports, easily save documents to employee files, and basically set up anything you need within the system. Sometimes the system will be down so the webpage would not be accessible, which can be frustrating. The support behind Access PeopleHR I think is brilliant and if you require help, you know you will easily get in touch with someone or the AI intelligence will help to find the right answer. We only use peoplehr as a alone unit and have not connected it to other tools. We think the pricing matching the value of the programme.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

Sometimes it isn’t accessible or it freezes, which can be frustrating—especially when you’re trying to add files to your account and get things done.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can easily view and track sickness records, which gives us a clear picture of where everyone is and whether any action needs to be taken.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback. It’s great to hear you’re getting value from having everything in one place, especially when it comes to reporting, document management and tracking sickness records. That kind of visibility really helps with day-to-day decision making.

We’re also really pleased to hear your positive comments about support, it’s great to know you feel confident getting help when you need it.

We appreciate your feedback around system access and occasional freezing. We understand how frustrating that can be when you’re trying to get things done, so that’s important for us to take on board as we continue improving reliability.

It’s great to hear overall that the system is delivering value and supporting your HR processes effectively.

 ### 16. Friendly, Self-Explanatory UI with Helpful Reporting and Smart Views

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

The UI is friendly and self-explanatory, and the fact that it integrates well with Paycircle is an added bonus. Overall, People HR performs well, but occasionally there can be issues with Ripples. I use the logbook functions quite a lot, and the reporting is fairly easy to navigate when you need to find specific information. In terms of cost, I’d say it’s quite competitive.

Support can be good when you need a response to small queries; however, recently there was an issue with the SMP calculation and it wasn’t resolved in time for payroll. They need to make sure their QA is done thoroughly when there are changes to legislation. Also, if you need something fundamentally changed, it will always have to go through the development team, so make sure you leave plenty of time for the query to be resolved.

Their new smart view is very helpful, and the AI can answer simple questions. It could be better, but that will take time.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

I think there are some small changes that could be made to People HR, as an example when an employee creates an Assignment, it highlights the assignment green on the calendar, when it is submitted it then shows a dotted line around it, when approved it goes back to green, change the colour or make it obvious to the employee it has been approved.

Ripples are fantastic and a great tool to get workflows integrated into your processes, it would be great to see a tick box to allow a ripple to repeat on the same day.

There are just some tiny tweaks that could be made to take it from good to great.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we first introduced People HR, we also took on Paycircle, their payroll software. As mentioned previously, the HR system integrates really well with Paycircle and saves time in payroll by pulling the information across automatically, which means payroll can concentrate on just running payroll. We’ve also recently introduced the reward software, and we started using Expenses last year. Being able to access all of our services with one click is a nice touch and makes it much easier to get to everything.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your detailed feedback. It’s great to hear you’re finding the UI intuitive and that features like logbooks, reporting, Smart View and the Paycircle integration are adding real value, especially where it’s helping streamline payroll and save time for your team. It’s also encouraging to hear the broader suite is making it easier to access everything in one place.

We really appreciate your balanced and thoughtful suggestions. The points you’ve raised around Ripple enhancements, clearer visual indicators in the calendar, and small usability tweaks are all really helpful, it’s exactly this kind of feedback that helps take the product from good to great.

We’re also sorry to hear about your experience with the SMP calculation and the impact that had on payroll. We completely understand how critical accuracy and timely resolution are in those situations, and your feedback around QA and responsiveness is really important.

It’s great to hear overall that the platform is supporting your processes and helping improve efficiency across HR and payroll.

 ### 17. User-Friendly HR Tool with Great Self-Service, Reporting, and Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

What I like best about Access PeopleHR is how user-friendly and intuitive it is for both HR teams and employees. Core tasks such as managing employee records, absence tracking, and onboarding are easy to navigate and don’t require extensive training.

The self-service functionality empowers employees to update their own details and book time off, which significantly reduces administrative workload.
I also appreciate the reporting tools, which make it straightforward to access people data and stay compliant. Overall, it’s a reliable system that supports day-to-day HR operations efficiently.

The customer service is very good and we have a great relationship with the team, we feel it is also great value for money.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

What I dislike about Access PeopleHR is that it can be prone to occasional glitches, which can interrupt day‑to‑day work and slow processes down. The interface also feels slightly dated compared to more modern HR systems, which can impact the overall user experience. Additionally, some functionality is limited — for example, not being able to bulk download employee files is frustrating and adds unnecessary manual work. While the system handles core HR tasks well, these issues can make certain processes less efficient than they should be.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR is helping to solve usability and efficiency challenges in day‑to‑day HR processes. The ongoing improvements to the user interface are making the system easier and more intuitive to use, which reduces friction for both HR users and employees. In addition, the introduction of AI features to support general HR queries is particularly beneficial, as it helps answer common questions quickly and reduces the need for manual intervention. Overall, these enhancements are improving efficiency, saving time, and allowing the HR team to focus more on value‑adding activities rather than routine administration.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback. It’s great to hear how much value you’re getting from the platform, especially around ease of use, self-service and reporting. Knowing that both HR teams and employees can navigate the system without extensive training is exactly what we aim for, and it’s fantastic to hear it’s helping reduce admin and support day-to-day operations.

We’re also really pleased to hear your positive comments about customer support and the relationship you have with the team — that’s great to hear.

We appreciate your honest feedback around occasional glitches, the interface and areas like bulk document downloads. We understand how these can impact efficiency, particularly when they add extra manual work, so this is really valuable insight for us.

It’s encouraging to hear the system, and recent improvements like AI support, are helping streamline processes and free up time for more strategic work.

 ### 18. Outdated and Lacking Support, Needs Major Improvements

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robyn Z. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

Nothing

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

I don't like PeopleHR. It's an outdated platform with limited functionalities and extremely poor customer service and account management. There's little customization and the reporting function is poor. The AI support chat is getting better but still needs lots of prompts to get the answer you need. I hoped the upgrade to Evo Pro would be better, but the upgrade to our system is delayed and hasn't happened yet and our training had to be canceled due to this. Customer service is useless, the delayed timeline has had a big effect internally, and even their complaint team seems clueless. When I first joined the company and tried to learn how to use the platform, I needed support and that didnt seem to exists. It took me 6 months to get an account manager to help (numerous emails were ignored, the only time I got a call was when I replied to a sales email and pretended I wanted to upgrade or hear about add on services) . A year later, we got some training, but the trainer train us on the wrong product, and feature we did not have so it was pointless to us. The worst customer service and account management I have ever experienced.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR helps in logging employee information, managing sickness and holidays, storing documents, and reporting.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for taking the time to share this, Robyn. I’m really sorry to read about your experience, it sounds incredibly frustrating, especially with the delays, lack of support and the impact that’s had on your team.

I appreciate you being so open. While it’s good to hear the system is supporting some core tasks like storing employee information and managing sickness and holidays, it’s clear the wider experience hasn’t been what you expected. The issues you’ve raised around account management, delayed upgrades, missed training and difficulty getting support are all really concerning to hear.

I’d genuinely like to understand this in more detail and help get things moving in the right direction for you. If you’re open to it, please feel free to reach out to me directly at taryn.schutzler@theaccessgroup.com and I’ll make sure this is picked up with the right teams as a priority.

Thank you again for sharing your experience, feedback like this is incredibly important, and I’d really welcome the chance to help improve things for you.

 ### 19. Great for Core HR and Onboarding, but ATS Feels Limited

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

As someone in People experience , Access PeopleHR has made managing employee records considerably more straightforward. Having everything centralised in one place — contracts, personal details, documents — saves a lot of back-and-forth. The onboarding tools are a genuine time-saver for getting new starters set up without the usual admin overhead. The AI features are a nice addition too and show the platform is moving in the right direction. It's not without its quirks, but for core HR tasks it does the job well and the team has found it easy enough to navigate day-to-day.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

The ATS functionality is probably the area that falls shortest of expectations. It covers the basics but lacks the depth you'd want for a more structured recruitment process — things like pipeline customisation, candidate communication tools, and reporting on hiring metrics feel fairly limited compared to dedicated ATS platforms. If recruitment is a big part of your workflow, you may find yourself needing a separate tool to plug the gaps.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Access PeopleHR, a lot of our HR processes were spread across spreadsheets and shared drives, which made it difficult to keep employee data accurate and up to date. PeopleHR has helped centralise that, reducing the risk of errors and making information much easier to access when needed. It's also cut down the time spent on routine admin tasks like managing absence requests and maintaining personnel files, freeing up the team to focus on more strategic work.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback. It’s great to hear PeopleHR is helping centralise your employee data and streamline onboarding, reducing admin and improving accuracy can make a real difference for HR teams. It’s also encouraging to hear the platform is easy to navigate day to day and that features like AI are adding value.

We appreciate your honest comments around the ATS. That’s really valuable insight, especially around pipeline customisation, communication tools and reporting. Feedback like this helps highlight where improvements can make recruitment processes more robust.

It’s great to hear the system is supporting your core HR needs and freeing up time for more strategic work.

 ### 20. PeopleHR: Intuitive, Great Value, and Reliable 24/7 Access!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I really like the interface and its ease of use. We don’t currently use it to integrate with other systems we have, but I do know it offers a huge range of integrations we could choose from. The cost per user, per month is amazing compared with what we’ve used in the past, and even on the basic package you get so much.

When we first started with PeopleHR, we were onboarded and given a really good grounding in how the system works and what it could do for our business.

I’ve never known the site to be down, so for me access has been 24x7, both from a computer and via the app.

I haven’t used the AI part of the provision yet, but I know it’s there. I just don’t have enough time to explore all of its features!

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

To be honest I haven't found anything that I dislike!

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to run into problems with onboarding and booking holidays, but PeopleHR has solved those issues for us as a company. Overall, it’s made both processes much smoother and easier to manage.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback. It’s great to hear how much you’re enjoying the platform, especially the ease of use, value for money and reliable access. Having a system that’s consistently available and simple to navigate really makes a difference day to day.

We’re also pleased the onboarding experience gave you a strong start and that the system has helped smooth out processes like onboarding and holiday management.

It’s great to know there are still features, like AI and integrations, you can explore further as your needs grow.

Thanks again for sharing such a positive experience, it’s great to hear PeopleHR is supporting your business so well.

 ### 21. Easy to Use, Well-Priced HR Admin Made Simple

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob C. | Head of People, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

The system is easy to use, well priced and has enough supplementary features to make HR admin easy to manage.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

The system can be a bit too simple in areas, it would be good to see new features, better integration with job boards, internal links with PayCircle, improved reporting and custom reporting for export. Whilst we use the Performance section, the process is can be very long winded, that is an areas that can definitely improve.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use PHR for all HR, leave, recruitment, remuneration, performance and disciplinary needs. The system does what is says it will.

 ### 22. Streamlined HR Operations, Traceable Recruitment with Minor Sync Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Owen F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I like how Access PeopleHR keeps all our HR needs in one place, providing our staff a go-to platform so everyone knows where everything is. The ability to track the whole recruitment process from start to finish has been a great tool. It gives recruits confidence, showing we're professional. Setting up was very easy and we hardly had to train team members on using the app. It just works like a dream, basically.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

Some of the syncing with calendars where people are booking holidays needs to be able to sync with a shared calendar. That has proved a little bit of a struggle for us.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR solves all our HR needs by keeping details in one place, so our staff has a single reference point. It helps track the recruitment process comprehensively, giving recruits confidence in our professionalism and maintaining a traceable process.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Owen. It’s great to hear how well PeopleHR is working for your team, having everything in one place and giving staff a clear go-to platform makes a big difference. It’s especially good to hear the recruitment tracking is helping create a more professional and transparent experience for candidates.

We’re also pleased the setup was smooth and that your team found it easy to adopt without much training, that’s always a great sign.
We appreciate your comments around calendar syncing. We understand how important it is for holiday bookings to align with shared calendars, so that’s really helpful feedback for us to take on board.

It’s fantastic to hear the platform is supporting your HR processes and helping keep everything organised and traceable.

 ### 23. Efficient for HR Management, But Lacks Comprehensive Training Features

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsay L. | Business Finance Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I like Access PeopleHR for its overall appearance. It's our first digital software, and we reviewed several before choosing it. The initial setup was easy-ish, helping us manage our business HR records digitally and moving us forward in terms of data collecting and storing, getting us away from using Word documents for people's personal details.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

The training side is not very good. There's no overall training matrix visibility. The training page only shows someone has HSE training and a number of stars rating but no details on what it is. We need to be able to share certain training info with specific people in the business, which was impossible. Also, the API link to Outlook for automatically syncing holidays has stopped working.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR advanced our data collecting and storing, moving us away from using Word documents for personal details.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Lindsay. It’s great to hear PeopleHR has helped you move away from manual documents and into a more structured, digital way of managing your HR data, that’s a big step forward and makes a real difference day to day.

We’re also pleased the system supported your initial setup and helped bring everything into one place.

I’m sorry to hear about the challenges you’ve faced with the training module and the lack of visibility around training details. I completely understand how important it is to have a clear training matrix and be able to share the right information with the right people. The issue with the Outlook sync is also frustrating and something that shouldn’t be interrupting your workflow.

If you’re open to it, I’d really like to understand this in more detail and see how we can help. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at taryn.schutzler@theaccessgroup.com and I’ll make sure this is looked into with the right teams.

 ### 24. Seamlessly Handles HR Tasks with an Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I love how Access PeopleHR serves as a one-stop place for all things in the workplace with easy access and great navigation. The layout is really good, making it easy to find whatever you require. I especially appreciate the annual leave feature, which allows me to see at a glance what has been booked and what is outstanding. The monthly layout makes it quick and easy to see my year's annual leave. Additionally, the document section is a good feature, broken down into different subjects such as Employment contracts, 1-2-1 meetings, feedback, and training. Setting up the portal was really easy because it’s self-explanatory and easy to use. I have used many workplace platforms, and PeopleHR is easily the best I have used.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

Logging in could be easier. Having to manually enter your email address twice is irritating. Your Username & Password could be saved. At the moment I click on login with my saved details & the next screen tells me to manually enter my email address again which is strange.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR is a one-stop hub for workplace needs, simplifying leave booking and document management. Its user-friendly layout makes navigation easy, and the annual leave features give a clear overview of booked and outstanding days.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback, David. It’s great to hear how much you’re enjoying the platform, especially having everything in one place and how easy it is to navigate. It’s brilliant that the annual leave view and document structure are helping you stay organised and quickly find what you need.

We’re also really pleased the setup felt straightforward and that the system stands out compared to others you’ve used, that’s great to hear.

We appreciate your comments around the login experience. Having to re-enter details can definitely feel frustrating, so that’s really helpful feedback for us to take on board.

It’s fantastic to hear PeopleHR is making day-to-day tasks like leave management and document access simpler and more efficient for you.

 ### 25. User-Friendly but Prone to Crashes

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rehana K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I find Access PeopleHR easy to use, which is great for day-to-day operations. The layout of the menu and information is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple to find what I need quickly. I especially like the employee search bar, which helps when I need information fast.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

There's a few here and the reason we are leaving - mainly the fact the system freezes/crashes after a few minutes of viewing docs meaning we have to refresh the page each time and start again - that's the biggest flaw. Yes, the absence accuracies and user access e.g. finance cannot use plugins without access as admin.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Access PeopleHR for uploading employee docs, managing absences, annual leave, reports, and payslips. It's easy to use and navigate, and the employee search bar helps me find information quickly.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Rehana. It’s great to hear you’ve found PeopleHR easy to use, particularly the layout and employee search, being able to quickly access information makes a big difference day to day.

I’m really sorry to hear about the issues you’ve experienced with the system freezing and crashing. I completely understand how disruptive that must be, especially when you’re trying to work through documents and have to keep refreshing and starting again. The points you’ve raised around absence accuracy and user access are also really important and shouldn’t be adding extra friction.

I’d really like to understand this in more detail and see if we can help resolve these issues for you. If you’re open to it, please feel free to reach out to me directly at taryn.schutzler@theaccessgroup.com and I’ll make sure this is picked up with the right teams.

 ### 26. Reliable, User-Friendly HR Database with Helpful AI-Driven Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

PeopleHR is a reliable personnel database, which integrates with multiple Access platforms. The system is user friendly for both administrators and the end user, and information can be found in a timely manner. Customer Support is easily accessed via the AI chat, which then directs you to a representative if required.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

There are many functions included in the system, some of which we do not utilise. This is not a negative of the system, as it is us who do not access all the functions. With this in mind, we are paying for a system that we are not utilising to its full potential.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The system benefits us greatly, being used as a reliable personnel database. Before PeopleHR, our employee database consisted of multiple spreadsheets, whereas now we can have all the information on one platform

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback. It’s great to hear PeopleHR is working well as a reliable, central personnel database and that moving away from multiple spreadsheets has made a positive difference. Having everything in one place and easy to access really does simplify things for both admins and employees.

We’re also pleased to hear the system is user-friendly and that the AI-driven support is helping you get answers quickly when needed.

We appreciate your honest reflection around not using all available features. That’s really useful insight, and it’s something we’re always mindful of making sure customers can get the most value from the platform in a way that suits their needs.

It’s great to hear the system is supporting your organisation and improving how you manage employee data overall.

 ### 27. Simple, User-Friendly HR Management That Streamlines Daily Tasks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

Access PeopleHR is very simple and user-friendly, which makes it easy to navigate even for first-time users. The interface is clean and intuitive, allowing quick access to employee records, timesheets, and documents without any confusion. It helps streamline HR processes and saves time on daily tasks. Additionally, the system is reliable and makes managing employee data, leave, and performance much more efficient. Overall, it’s a practical and easy-to-use solution for HR management.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

While Access PeopleHR is easy to use, there are some areas that could be improved. At times, the system can feel a bit slow, especially when handling larger amounts of data.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR helps streamline and centralize all HR-related activities, such as employee records, timesheets, leave management, and document storage. This reduces manual work and minimizes errors, as everything is maintained in one place. It also improves efficiency by making it easy to access and update information quickly. As a result, it saves time, ensures better organization, and allows HR teams to focus more on strategic tasks rather than administrative work.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

Having quick access to employee records, timesheets and documents really does make a difference when it comes to saving time and keeping everything organised.

We’re also pleased to hear the system is helping streamline your HR processes and reduce manual work, allowing you to focus more on the bigger picture.

We appreciate your comments around performance when handling larger amounts of data. That’s really useful insight as we continue working to improve speed and overall system performance.

 ### 28. Quick onboarding, but missing HR essentials, clunky reporting, and hard-to-reach support

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

Loading a new employee has improved and is now quicker and easier.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

There are many small things missing from this system. The inability to record disabilities, allergies etc., is frustrating. I would like to see a better dashboard that shows me anniversaries and birthdays that are coming up, new starter dates and leavers. I wish you could split a annual leave day into TOIL and holiday allowance. The carryover of holiday is frustrating as it does not work for part-time people and it causes me a lot of manual work. It is also very hard to get hold of anyone to help with support. I find the reporting section very frustrating and not easy to use at all. It is also frustrating that it signs you out of the system so quickly. Sometimes I find myself having to log in several times a day.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a basic HR system for us and we get many complaints from employees. Unfortunately, I do not feel it is a benefit.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for taking the time to share such honest feedback, I really appreciate it. It’s great to hear that onboarding new employees has improved and is now quicker and easier for you.

I’m sorry to hear about the frustrations you’ve experienced across other areas, particularly around reporting, holiday management, dashboards and support. I completely understand how time-consuming manual workarounds and difficulty getting help can be — that’s not the experience we want for you or your team.

There’s a lot in your feedback that would be really valuable to explore further, especially around specific use cases like part-time holiday carryover, TOIL splits and the visibility you need on dashboards. I’d genuinely welcome the opportunity to discuss this with you and see how we can help.

Please feel free to reach out to me directly at taryn.schutzler@theaccessgroup.com - I’d be more than happy to pick this up with you.

 ### 29. Cost-Effective HR Solution

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ethan W. | Sr. Manager, Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I use Access PeopleHR for its HRIS features to help onboard and manage our teams efficiently. I like that it provides us with one central location to track onboarding processes, ensuring a single source of truth for our team members. The software is very cost-efficient, and it has allowed us to integrate all of our team into one simple system with relative ease. I appreciate the good pricing and how the holiday accruals work smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

I think the implementation support was a little brief which made rollout a little more complicated. Also, we cannot track multiple rates for hourly employees. We just needed more face time during implementation, and I would like to be able to track multiple hourly rates for employees and have them link to Paycircle, their payroll tool, better. The initial setup was challenging due to the lack of implementation support.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Access PeopleHR to centralize team onboarding, maintain a single source of truth, track holidays, and standardize processes. It's cost-efficient and makes it easy to integrate our team into a simple system.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Ethan. It’s great to hear PeopleHR is helping you bring everything into one central place, especially for onboarding and maintaining a single source of truth across your team. It’s also good to know the system has been easy to roll out overall and that features like holiday accrual are working smoothly.

We appreciate your honest comments around implementation support and functionality for hourly rates. It’s clear that more hands-on support during rollout would have made a difference, and your feedback on tracking multiple rates and integration with payroll is really valuable.

It’s encouraging to hear that overall the system is delivering a cost-effective and efficient way to manage your HR processes.

 ### 30. Streamlined HR Processes with Access PeopleHR

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sophie M. | Group Human Resources Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I really appreciate how Access PeopleHR makes it easy to have everything in one place, which shaves off a lot of manual admin time. I find it quite straightforward and easy to use. We considered using Hibob but found it too expensive and not necessary for our needs. I personally like the AI assistant. The initial setup was very easy, thanks to an onboarding consultant, and the recorded training was worthwhile despite taking a few hours.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

Maybe the interface can be improved a bit. For example, HiBob is very interactive looking. The colors of the interface can be adjusted to make it really clear where each section is.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR simplifies HR management by centralizing tasks, reducing manual admin time, and is easy to use. The straightforward design offers value without needing extra flashy features.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback. It’s great to hear the integrations with payroll and LMS support a smooth HR workflow and onboarding. Your point on the interface is really helpful and aligns with our ongoing UX modernisation. You can follow updates via our PeopleHR roadmap hub.

 ### 31. Organized Solution with Room for UI Improvement

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jocelyn B. | Compensation Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I use Access PeopleHR to keep employee records organized and updated, making tracking job changes like promotions, salary updates, and reassignments smooth. I appreciate how it helps keep everything in one place, which makes it easy for me to find and update whatever is needed and keeps processes organized. I find the document storage feature great for keeping things in one place and organized. I also really like the tracking feature because it makes researching information a lot faster.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

I wish it had a more user friendly interface. Some areas feel really outdated. It could also use smoother navigation between sections so there's no need for endless clicking. It's a bit more cluttered compared to other HRIS systems. Some menus aren't clearly labeled, and if you're not familiar with the system it can make it easy to get lost and take more time to get what you need.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Access PeopleHR to organize and update employee records, track job changes, and ensure compliance. It centralizes updates, making reporting easier and reducing manual tracking.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Jocelyn. It’s great to hear how you’re using PeopleHR to keep employee records organised and track changes like promotions and salary updates, having everything in one place really does make a difference. I’m glad the document storage and tracking features are helping you work more efficiently too.

I completely understand your points around the interface and navigation. If it takes extra clicks or feels cluttered, it can slow things down, especially for new users. That’s really valuable feedback as we continue working on improving the overall experience.

If you’d be happy to share a bit more on what would make navigation smoother for you, I’d love to hear it, feel free to reach out to me at taryn.schutzler@theaccessgroup.com

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Porcia W. | HR Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

It is great value for money as it is instrumental to our core HR processes. I would say the best function is the reporting, which we use on daily basis

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

The ability to personalize certain aspects of data input is lacking and would greatly add to its performance if improved

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being a small company, we did not yet have an employee database so this solved that problem and greatly transformed how we process employee data from onboarding to reporting to managing the employee lifecycle

 ### 33. Automation making a difference

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meena G. | HR Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

The newest update has helped utilize the platform. to have the tab function across the different platforms really helps access to infromation when comparing across ATS, admin and employee. The hotsheets within the platform are also something I value and utilize.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

Not enough options on the filter sections on the queries, or cannot be specific enough.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being a single source of recruitment, to storing records to reporting.
Previously it had been all manual and we are starting to benefit from automations through ripples.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peggy R. | Photography Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I like its intuitive interface, flexible workflows, and centralized employee data. These features simplify HR tasks, improve reporting, support compliance, and make onboarding, performance management, and communication significantly more efficient overall.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

I dislike occasional slow performance, limited customization in reports, clunky navigation in some areas, and integrations that can require extra setup, making certain HR processes less seamless than expected.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR solves fragmented HR processes by centralizing employee data, automating admin tasks, and improving compliance. This saves time, reduces errors, streamlines workflows, and gives clearer insights for better decision-making.

 ### 35. Streamlined Employee Management with Some Learning Hurdles

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lizzie R. | Head of HR and Recruitment, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I really like the reporting and automatic notifications from Access PeopleHR. Being able to tailor reports to audit our records means we are not relying on humans to go through every file, saving a lot of time and making things very easy. The initial setup was also very easy, which was a plus.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

The timesheet section, I don't know how to use this efficiently and seems that we have to pay for anyone to show us how to use the functionality. It would be helpful to have some videos or clearer guidance on how to pull and manipulate reports.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Access PeopleHR to manage employees, eliminating lots of manual tracking. Tailored reports and automatic notifications save us time by not relying on humans for record audits.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Lizzie. It’s great to hear that PeopleHR is making things easier across your organisation, especially when it comes to reporting. Turning what used to be manual work into something you can do at the push of a button is exactly the kind of impact we aim for.

We appreciate your comments around learning new features and accessing demos. That’s really helpful insight, and we’ll continue looking at how we can make it easier to get the most out of the system without barriers.

 ### 36. Easy, User-Friendly HR Admin That Makes MI Reporting a Breeze

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

Its an easy system to use. Very user friendly. I find the HR Admin product really helpful in my role to create MI reports and they save each time so quick to refer back to.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

I do feel like the support lacks which lets the company down. We never seem to be able to fix an issue we have quickly and you can only contact the helpdesk through one email. It seems quite outdated considering the size of the product and verses others in the market.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Annual leave record keeping is easy with PeopleHR. You can see carry over clearly, annual leave entitlement and who has used what. This is so much easier than using an excel spreadsheet! Its also great for employee document holding.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback. It’s great to hear you’re finding PeopleHR easy to use and that it’s helping with MI reporting, having reports saved and easy to revisit can make a big difference day to day. It’s also good to know features like annual leave tracking and document storage are working well and saving you time compared to spreadsheets.

I’m sorry to hear about your experience with support and response times. I understand how frustrating that can be when you’re trying to resolve issues quickly, and your feedback here is really important.

 ### 37. Effortless HR Management with a Few Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew B. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I like that Access PeopleHR is easy to use and accommodates multiple different hours and shift patterns. It's straightforward to change or update staff levels, and it's user-friendly for the staff to manage themselves. Accessing staff information, both individually and across the team, to see who has booked leave or is on sickness is very useful for planning. The initial setup was very easy and came with a step-by-step guide.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

We've had a repeated issue with annual leave allocation between years not updating automatically. It didn't allow us to update full-time workers for the new annual leave allocation and therefore prevented staff from booking these either.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Access PeopleHR to manage leave and sickness levels, and view staff information across the team. It's easy to use, supports various shift patterns, and allows staff self-service for updates, making planning easier.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback. It’s great to hear PeopleHR makes it easy to move between staff profiles and manage sickness and leave across your team. We appreciate your comments on annual leave calculations, which are helping shape ongoing improvements. You can follow upcoming updates via our PeopleHR roadmap hub.

 ### 38. Easy to Use with Simple Employee Access and Task Reminders

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

It is a very easy platform to use, adding individual employees is simple, I can given them different types of access and also train them to use the platform very easily. It shows jobs to be completed when you sign into the platform and this reminds me of what I need to complete for each individual employee.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

I think there could be a support bot live if you had any questions about how to use the platform. I think this would be helpful

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me manage all my employees with their personal details, holidays and sickness and I have been able to upload our employee handbook and also policies and procedures.

 ### 39. Simple, Professional UI and Great Planner—But Reporting Needs to Be Easier

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Poppy S. | People Advisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

The look of the platform is very simple and easy to use / understand. It look professional and navigation is easy. The Planner function is very useful.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

The reporting function can be difficult to use. Standard reports are fine but trying to create graphs / more niche analysis is very difficult. It would good be to be able to have multiple people to

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Copilot will be good to use once sorted

 ### 40. Great for Remote Staff Tracking, but Confusing Time Formats and Inaccurate Calculations

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate L. | Administration Team Co-ordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

It’s better than using paper, and it makes it much easier for me to keep track of remote staff. Overall, it helps me stay organized and monitor things more consistently without relying on paperwork.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

We track time in hours, but PeopleHR seems split: part of it records time in minutes, while another part uses decimal fractions of an hour. This inconsistency gets very confusing, and the resulting calculations aren’t always accurate.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps with the overall speed of HR tasks and makes it easier to stay on top of changes, especially for things like Right to Work and DBS checks. These are the kinds of items that expire, and we need a clear way to track them and get them renewed in time.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Kate. We’re sorry to hear about the confusion around time formats and calculations, and we understand how frustrating that can be when managing remote teams. Your comments are helping shape improvements around consistency and accuracy. You can follow upcoming updates via our PeopleHR roadmap hub.

 ### 41. Efficient Data Management with Report Customization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aimee G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I really like the ribbon feature where I can search for employees and have the last 3 viewed profiles readily accessible instead of going back to the employee dashboard each time. It's intuitive to use, allowing me to store all documents in one place and update personal details easily when needed. It's also really easy to run reports and filter through options to get the exact information required.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

I don't like the new update when creating a new employee's profile. I find the layout to be odd and some of the fields that used to be required are now optional, which means when I am going back, I am having to input the information again. I also don't like the way it calculates annual leave and inputting the salary information. When typing in addresses, it only gives you the UK home addresses and as we are a global company, it means I have to input this information manually once the profile is created for someone who is in another country.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR simplifies tracking employment terms with automated reminders, enables easy document management and updates, and helps me efficiently search and view employee profiles. Running reports is a breeze, allowing me to filter information quickly.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your detailed feedback, Aimee. It’s great to hear the ribbon feature and reporting tools are helping you work more efficiently, especially with quick profile access and document management.

We’re sorry to hear the new employee profile layout and annual leave calculations have caused some frustration, and we understand the challenge around international address entry for global teams. Feedback like this is incredibly valuable as we continue refining usability and global functionality.

 ### 42. User-Friendly HR Solution with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** lorraine w. | Human Resources Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I find Access PeopleHR user-friendly and appreciate its ease of navigation. The ATS and Performance Management add-ons work well for our business needs. I also value the availability of training guides and videos along with the co-pilot feature, which saves me time and makes it easy to navigate and find what I require. Additionally, I like the ability to store HR documents online securely.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

The system is designed to UK legislation for things such as Maternity Leave and does not work for Ireland. We had some issues with our first Account Manager and a delay in getting our data loaded into the system but once our Account Manager changed this was resolved quickly.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR helps systemize recruitment and performance management in our growing organization, with user-friendly navigation and easy reporting.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Lorraine. It’s great to hear you’re finding PeopleHR easy to navigate and that features like ATS, Performance Management and Copilot are supporting your day-to-day work. It’s also good to know the training guides and document storage are adding value.

We appreciate your comments around regional differences, particularly with areas like maternity leave, and the challenges you experienced earlier with account management and data setup. I’m glad to hear things improved once that was resolved, but your feedback is really important in helping us deliver a more consistent experience.

It’s encouraging to hear the system is supporting your recruitment and performance processes as your organisation grows.

 ### 43. Needs Automation Enhancements for Full Potential

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lee C. | Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I like the automation feature for getting references in Access PeopleHR. It's convenient to just look at the timeline and know everything's covered. The way it provides an instantaneous snapshot without having to go through each reference individually is really helpful.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

I definitely find the data side of Access PeopleHR challenging. You have to manually transfer information from where you get the references to the employee database. It's just an ETL process, and automating this would make the workload so much easier. Also, the system doesn't integrate with other job boards besides Indeed, which is a limitation for an applicant tracking system.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Access PeopleHR to manage the employee workforce effectively and ensure the correct stages are met when recruiting, thanks to its automation for references and timeline feature.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Lee. It’s great to hear the automation around references and the timeline view are helping you stay on top of recruitment stages without needing to dig through everything manually, that kind of visibility makes a real difference.

We appreciate your honest comments around data handling and integrations. Having to manually transfer information and limited job board connectivity can definitely slow things down, so your feedback around further automation and integrations is really valuable.

It’s good to hear the system is still supporting you in managing recruitment processes and keeping everything on track.

You can follow upcoming updates via our PeopleHR roadmap hub link below.

 ### 44. User-Friendly Platform That Empowers Employees

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth A. | People Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

User-Friendly & Accessible

We use the platform on a daily basis and find the interface is widely regarded as intuitive and straightforward, making it easy for even non-technical staff to use. This simplicity helps minimize the learning curve for both HR teams and employees. The employee self-service portal, along with the mobile app, empowers staff to handle their own information, such as submitting leave requests and accessing payslips, without needing to involve HR every time. Easy to set up and implement and the support team was always there if we needed help. Integrates seamlessly with our payroll provider

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

The reporting module can occasionally feel a bit unintuitive, but in most cases, this is more due to user error than any issue with the platform itself.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform really simplifies the process of recording, storing, and accessing employee data, all while ensuring it remains secure.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for the detailed feedback Elizabeth. It’s great to hear PeopleHR’s intuitive interface, self-service tools and payroll integration are empowering your team day to day. Your comments on reporting are appreciated and are helping shape ongoing usability improvements. You can follow updates via our PeopleHR roadmap hub.

 ### 45. Automation and the ability to tailored processes is great , bugs having impact

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

Being able to add automations through Ripples.
Ownership of processes, systems, titles, being able to tailor them to the charities process.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

Bugs in the system that affect leave hours are having a huge impact. Since this is a new system we’ve rolled out, the issues have created a lot of distrust, with staff questioning whether their leave balances are correct. It’s also adding to our workload because we now have to double-check everything.

The TOIL system is also causing a lot of frustration within our organisation. Why can’t TOIL be accrued by the employee and then, once approved, automatically increase their TOIL hours?

Also, the error message on the logbook page… can this be updated to something other than 'No Logbook found' maybe 'select a logbook?'

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cannot comment - We add ideas and improvements to the ideas platform but never hear back on porgress or timeframe.

TOIL would be at the top of my list

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback. It’s great to hear you’re finding value in Ripples and the ability to tailor processes, that flexibility is really important, especially for organisations with specific workflows.

I’m really sorry to hear about the issues you’ve experienced with leave balances and TOIL. I completely understand how impactful that is, particularly when it affects trust with employees and adds extra manual checks for your team. Your suggestions around TOIL automation and clearer logbook messaging are really helpful and practical.

We also appreciate your feedback on visibility around ideas and progress, that’s important for keeping customers informed.

 ### 46. Centralised HR Management with Seamless Efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chloe B. | Business Support Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I like having all HR information and processes in one central system with Access PeopleHR, which improves consistency and efficiency. I find the badges feature particularly helpful as it allows me to recognise the achievements of others in a clear and visible way. This is especially useful for 1-1 appraisals. The platform was straightforward to set up, and the availability of high-quality online support materials makes ongoing use and troubleshooting easy. Overall, we are very pleased with Access PeopleHR and its ability to reduce reliance on spreadsheets and paper records, streamline on boarding processes, and enhance visibility for absence management.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

Nothing.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR reduces reliance on spreadsheets, minimizes errors, and streamlines onboarding. It improves the visibility of absences and performance documentation, ensuring a more efficient and organized HR administration.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Chloe. It’s great to hear how much value you’re getting from having everything in one central system, especially when it comes to reducing spreadsheets and improving overall efficiency.

We’re really pleased the badges feature is supporting recognition within your team, particularly for 1-1s, and that onboarding and absence visibility have improved as a result. It’s also great to hear the setup was straightforward and that the support materials are helping along the way.

Thanks again for sharing such a positive experience, it’s great to hear the platform is making a real difference to your HR processes.

 ### 47. Functional Yet Frustrating

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Genevieve M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I like that Access PeopleHR offers both a web and app version. The app is particularly useful because it allows me to submit expenses when I'm on the go and check if I've booked holidays when I'm thinking about my time off, which isn't usually when I'm sitting at my work computer.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

It's really difficult to find things in the app, and the UI is very unintuative when creating expenses. I wish there were clearer areas for 'expenses' and a redesigned form that gives more information on what to add.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR lets me view payslips, book holidays, and submit expenses on the go, solving the need to manage these tasks outside of work.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Genevieve. It’s great to hear you’re finding the app useful for managing things like expenses and holidays on the go — having that flexibility outside of your desk can make a real difference.

I’m sorry to hear about your experience with navigation and the expenses process in the app. I understand how frustrating it can be when things aren’t easy to find or intuitive to complete. Your suggestions around clearer sections and a more informative form are really valuable.

It’s good to hear the platform is still helping you manage key tasks like payslips, holidays and expenses more conveniently overall.

 ### 48. Frustrating Support Access and Ignored User Feedback

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lynsey C. | Office Manager (including HR), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

The system is fairly straightforward, making it easy for staff to understand and navigate.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

A new process was introduced on 1 December 2025, requiring users to raise cases only from within the App. However, this raises concerns about what to do if the system is down. The suggested alternative is to call the provided number, but that number is not valid. Additionally, their website at https://status.peoplehr.com/ claims there are no issues, even though there is a Cloudflare problem affecting access.

I have also repeatedly requested, along with many others, that the default view under tasks should show only open tasks. This feedback has been ignored, and I am forced to manually select the option to hide completed tasks every single time. It is frustrating to have to see all my closed tasks from years ago when I only want to focus on what is currently open.

There are many many items suggested for improvement on their site but nothing seems to be forthcoming

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The automation of processes and reminders, like DBS checks, helps ensure that important tasks are not overlooked or forgotten.

**Official Response from Paula QuinteroRubio:**

> Thank you for your honest feedback, Lynsey. We're sorry about the support access frustrations and system issues you've experienced. Our phone lines are active during business hours, and our team is always ready to help.
Your feedback on default task views and other improvements is valuable – we're actively working on these priorities. Please monitor our roadmap hub for updates on features shaped by customer input like yours:

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruadhri O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I enjoy using Access PeopleHR for its easy storage of employee data all in one place. I also really like being able to track employee engagement, which helps us understand what people like about our company and decide on what to do more. This capability allows us to innovate new ideas. The initial setup was very simple, and overall, it effectively serves as a human resources system.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

I find the notifications in Access PeopleHR need improvement. It would be helpful to receive an email when something needs to be done or to have a checklist for new starts.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Access PeopleHR makes it easy to store employee data all in one place and track engagement, helping us know what employees like and innovate new ideas.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Ruadhri. It’s great to hear you’re finding PeopleHR helpful for keeping all employee data in one place and that the engagement tracking is giving you useful insights to shape new ideas and improve your workplace.

We’re also pleased the setup was straightforward and that the system is supporting your day-to-day HR needs effectively.

We appreciate your suggestion around notifications and onboarding checklists. That’s really helpful feedback and a great way to further streamline tasks for new starters and ongoing actions.

 ### 50. Streamlined HRIS with Room for Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?**

I like how Access PeopleHR streamlines processes and makes access easy. Document keeping works well for us. It's our main HRIS for the organization, and everybody uses Access PeopleHR. The initial setup was easy too.

**What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?**

Having more options and flexibility like their competitors (Workday / Oracle). For example, the feedback system could be improved, especially in relation to performance reviews. There could be a better option on how to use the feedback option more flexibly.

**What problems is Access PeopleHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access PeopleHR helps us manage our HRIS, document reviews, payroll, and attendance in one place, which streamlines HR tasks effectively. It’s our primary HRIS, and it makes day-to-day processes smoother while keeping access straightforward for everyone.

**Official Response from Taryn Schutzler:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Natchalnic. It’s great to hear PeopleHR is working well as your central HRIS and helping streamline processes across your organisation. Having everything in one place, especially document management and attendance, really does make day-to-day HR much easier.

We’re also pleased the initial setup was straightforward and that the system is being widely used across your team.

We appreciate your comments around flexibility, particularly with performance reviews and feedback. That’s really valuable insight, especially when comparing with other platforms, and it helps guide how we continue to evolve those areas.
