I like Peony because I'm able to upload HTML docs and my investors can render those HTML docs right inside the browser, which works seamlessly and renders beautifully without any lags. I also have full access to analytics and telemetry, like who accessed which page and how much time they spent on each page. Additionally, I can put simple NDAs on top of the data room and monitor guest screenshots and downloads. The HTML document feature is the best feature for me. Peony has streamlined and simplified our Due Diligence and client engagement process with its easy-to-use data room. Not really a downside, the co-founders and team at Peony are very helpful and responsive and if you have an issue or require a feature to be added to your package the co-founders and team are very accomodating, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Peony solving and how is that benefiting you? Client due diligence and onboarding of clients. Previously we would receive various DD documents via email and or wetransfer, now the process is simplified by creating an easy to use dataroom, and inviting clients to add their documents to the dataroom which can be accessed by all invitees to the dataroom. the different levels which can be given to each invitee is an added benefit and restricts certain access to invitees that isnt required. I love Peony's customization features; they are fantastic because they allow you to guide investors through your history and organize files the way you want. Their AI feature is also great, helping my investors with complex business plans by facilitating document searches, finding factual answers, and pointing to the right documents. I appreciate how Peony plans to support HTML artifacts, which is just great because it opens up a world of possibilities for showcasing information. The initial setup was extremely easy and very intuitive, plus they have an onboarding process where you can talk to the founders to get the most out of the applications. Peony is the only data room addressing the issue of displaying AI-created artifacts, which no other service out of 15 I reviewed offered. I like Peony's simple, clean user interface because it's no-fuss and makes it easy to upload materials to a data room, set visibility, and send custom links that are gated to specific email addresses. I appreciate that Peony offers all the same features as DocSend but at a fraction of the price. The Ask AI feature is a nice touch for materials that can't be downloaded due to regulatory requirements. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, requiring only a few clicks. There are a few small things like having our fund favicon appear when the link is unfurled in iMessage/WhatsApp, but nothing substantive that makes us want to switch.
