A free version of the connector exists for when you're requirements are super basic. However, when the requirements become more complex, the PRO version delivers! The setup process is quite cumbersome but that just typical Salesforce integration stuff. You have to create named credentials, auth providers, connected apps. Some of the support teams are not in salesforce, but need to work on a case sometimes. The best part of this tool is how flexible it is. You can create Jira issues on the salesforce side manually via a form that you customize according to your object configuration. Or you can set issues up to be automatically created when certain conditions occur. The peeklogic team is really responsive and super helpful when it comes to answering all of our questions. It's helping us link our CRM and our project management tool so we can create Jira tickets from within salesforce directly from requests (cases). We can also sync certain fields like status between the request and the Jira issue. So when something is marked as done in Jira, it is marked as done in Salesforce. We installed Peeklogic JIRA Connector in our JIRA instance and it works as expected. We are able to link SF cases to JIRA tickets, and our JIRA users (developers mainly) can have an overview of the SF cases linked to their tickets (user stories, bugs for example).
