I like the possibility of collecting employee feedback in real time through the frequency of surveys. Additionally, I like that the surveys are dynamic and anonymous, they are easy for employees to respond to, and for us as the People area, the dashboard is intuitive and allows us to analyze engagement score trends easily.

At the beginning, the setup can be a bit complicated if you don't have a specialized team. Additionally, certain metrics may not be so easy to interpret for those who are not familiar with this type of data.

Peakon solves the challenge of continuously measuring employee engagement and experience, avoiding reliance on annual surveys. This benefits us because it detects critical areas before they become "problems," improves retention and workplace climate, which directly impacts productivity, and allows aligning talent strategies with real data.

Human Friendly, there's been a lot of employment giants and multiple options but very few has the atmosphere of one's desire. Employee satisfaction if one sign that your being cared and that's what everybody wants, isn't it. You're awarded, appreciated and paid well, your personal lofe is valued and the balance is kept on the consideration plates. Logical, technical and personal development are the key points. Professional approach towards learning and development, using new technologies and enhancing your skills puts forward a growth mindset and enables efficient work systems.

Nothing that I can think of. Things are quite systematic and well organised. Good cultural environment doesn't leaves much behind to yalk about.

Gives great insights, is very easy to set up and quite easy to digest for managers. I think employees love the comment function and the fact that managers can acknowledge and answer comments right away.

It is costly and there are cheaper options out there. To make the ROI make sense you need "walk the walk" and use the insights to make real changes. It would be useful to be able to export more raw data.

We have employees globally but HR only locally and it helps get information from people far away on how they are thriving. We wish managers were more helpful in supporting employees being honest in their feedback. It varies a lot by team and it would be nice to include some items in the survey to measure honesty.

I like how easy peakon is to use. Whenever I have a busy day and my organization needs me to voice an opionion, it almost always takes me less than five minutes.

**What do you dislike about Workday Peakon Employee Voice?**

Ironically, Peakon is only effective is the heads of the organization actually implement action plans from the data they gather. Inherently Peakon cannot offer this.

Peakon gives the leaders of my organization real-time into initiatives that may be working great or areas that need improvement within the organization. If they listen to the vast majority, they will likely see improved employee performance.

Versatility of the tooling is great, you can chop and change Q's, ensure visibility of the info collated and react to it real-time. 

The learning curve is quick and easy. 

Visually, it looks great and is easy to navigate / respond. 

The ruling to ensure anonymity is great.

**What do you dislike about Workday Peakon Employee Voice?**

Like any survey, you have to be careful about the questions you use. The risk is feedback is taken literally within a team or departmnet when a lot of the metrics provided could be aimed at the organisation overall. Therefore, ensure managers have training... This isn't a tool where you can just roll it out... It needs thought, time and training to ensure you get the best out of it and don't do the oppositive of your intent which could be demotivating colleagues and management.  

Whilst navigation is easy, the UI needs a bit more TLC as it's not optimised to how someone would navigate a page. Features are not hidden but they're not in the obvious places nor look clickable at times.  Hamburger menu for all navigation would be welcomed.

A silly one but I'm so surprised... Trying to find the login link on the company site is not obvious. Yes you can save a URL for quick access but i often just go to the site as you get a quick glance of anything new of interest. In this instance, the login is on a carousel style banner... Very odd vs a button like most orgs. Definitely a backward step.

Voicing the business (the colleagues that make it a business). It gives deep insight into the sentiment of your workforce allowing you to make strategic and reactive decisions.

Managers can log in and reply directly to comments and get an understanding of what their team are thinking and how they are feeling.

The scoring can be confusing for some. Most people who are not sure/want to provide a middle score, would put 5 out of 10 but this is considered a detractor, as is anything from 0-6. We, therefore, have to advise employees of this but they forget. This results in us not being sure how accurate the scores actually are.

A great way to anonymously engage with employees and get a true understanding of how they are feeling.

**What do you like best about Workday Peakon Employee Voice?**

PeakOn is very intuitive for the users and provides insightful metrics for HR. Companies are able to aggregate the data so that employee's identity are keep confidential. It provides a safe space for employees to enter in their confidential feedback in the comments section. It also analyzes how the Company performed over time and compares it to the market which is helpful in understanding how it fairs in the grand scheme of things. PeakOn also released an out of the box integration with Workday that I think will immensely streamline our process. This integration definitely adds value!

**What do you dislike about Workday Peakon Employee Voice?**

Before the Workday integration, our HR team was going into PeakOn to manually add and delete employees from the database which was a HUGE pain point. From a user's perspective, I think it's always nerve wrecking when writing honest feedback because we don't understand if the system is truly "confidential". PeakOn does state in the surveys that the ratings and feedback are confidential but I think if they had a "help" or "more information" tab that explains how the data is aggregated I think that would give users peace of mind.

Understanding the employee's needs and the issues that HR need to focus on. We have also received positive feedback too on the programs that we have put in place so it affirms that our initiatives are making an impact.

We wanted to create a bespoke survey for a group of non-employees - this proved to be very difficult without going into a much higher tier that we didn't need. It worked out too expensive for this functionality versus a competitor

If you want a great system to focus on your staff engagement then DEFINITELY consider peakon, if you need a decent amount of customisation/bespoked surveys it may not serve your purposes.

It is a true reflection of how your team feel now rather than a few months time. It is interactive with you able to ask questions on comments made rather than guess work. It takes away the need to build plans to change negative and passive colleagues as it generates the training needed to change these. The presentation also takes away from you producing it from your perspective rather than what has actually been said.

When it is live use it daily and continue to interact with your colleagues.

Communication changes, we have now simplified how we communicate. 
Benefits, having only worked with the team for less than 2 years recognition through the basics of saying thank you, good morning  have a massive impact on raising morale and making people feel appreciated. My team have used this platform to communicate this.
My leaders can also see how good the morale is on my sites.

It is a great tool to transition to a holistic employee listening experience. Peakon has created a progressive tool to track employee engagement for all aspects of the employee life cycle. I could see many organisations using this to replace those outdated entry and exit surveys!

Understanding the opportunities and strengths in terms of employee engagement and then being able to drill down into specific areas has been very powerful. It has also enabled us to be much quicker in turn around time from when a survey is launched to when results are communicated.

Peakon is incredible user-friendly. It is effortless to complete surveys, and the interactions are pleasant. It is never a chore completing a survey, so we find we get high uptake. Because people can see their own results dashboard (to see their own responses and sentiment over time) and because Peakon has a great feedback loop where it is easy for managers to 'acknowledge' comments or even reply, responders believe their feedback is actually being looked at someone. I've never seen an engagement or pulse monitoring tool get as much take-up as Peakon.

From the leadership/admin perspective, the way Peakon isolates questions mapped to sub-drivers mapped to drivers mapped to outcomes makes it incredibly powerful to see what is driving what, and truly makes engagement measurement actionable. Again. something I haven't seen other tools come close to doing.

I love how you can see responses by experience cycle, including recent terminations. It is also great how leaders can respond directly to comment anonymously and that administrators can see that conversation. The interface is easy to navigate and has depth of insight. The more you explore, the more you get out of it.I also love the digest emails that get sent with recent comments during a survey cycle.

We are solving the problem of getting timely and accurate feedback from employees. It's great to see responses in real time. I think we have gotten more insights out of our data and been able to make the feedback actionable.

We are able to pinpoint trouble areas and segments of our staff engagement and create targeted and specific actions to improve these rather than simply coming up with some random engagement actions aimed at everyone. We are able to get real manager ownership for their staff engagement like never before because the data although anonymous is targeted. 
We have also been able to provide a continuous communication channel throughout covid and as such have engagement levels across our business in the top 10% of our industry.

Having the opportunity to engage directly in conversations with each team member and allowing them to anonymously (if desired) express themselves gives me as a CEO an unprecedented opportunity to know what is going on in the company. It reminds the management team where actions are needed or follow up is not yet understood + sometimes it is just more communication that is required. Dashboards are automatic and intuitive + insights are available in real time.

So far, it is well suited for the current needs. I don't see any downfalls. However, as the requirements grow with changing work environments, some interactive features can be enhanced.

The dashboards are by far the best part of Peakon. Having information displayed to you easily and simply is a key factor for why we choose Peakon. Leaders can't be bogged down with looking for information - they need it right in front. We also love the suggestion feature for things to focus on to improve or keep doing.

The integrations with HR systems. We are a small to mid-market company using an HR tech that doesn't have integration into Peakon. We have a third party helping to develop an API connection, but manual changes are a pain!

The focus of the company's data science and analytics team is important. They are looking at ways to integrate performance or growth data to the engagement survey data to really be a people leader dashboard.

Peakon is a user friendly tool which is very flexible in the set-up making it easy to apply to our specific needs regarding data accumulation. On top of that the support is always quick to answer, very helpful and our Success Manager has been nothing but a great collaborator in setting up Peakon to fit our needs and support us along the journey.

We are currently working on setting up the tool to accommodate employees working on several different projects ensuring that Project Managers also have access to the data and are able to use the insights. We are not quit there yet, so a system update to be able to do that would be great. To be fair; it was never a part of Peakon, but something we wanted to try out, and I am sure we'll find a solution to it.

Buy the Peakademy package to be able to support your business as well as possible. And use Micro courses.

We had an annual survey which made for a heavy process when looking into the data, and it wasn't used to its full potential. With Peakon we have implemented a monthly frequency and fewer questions which really sits right with people. Sure, some still think it is too often, and we need to learn that big action plans are a thing of the past, and look into smaller, tangible actions that can have an effect now, but we are on our way, and it has made HR's and managers'  work easier and provides much more value since we get insights every month. That way we can see the effect of what we are doing real-time.

Very simple to use for both the site admin, the manager, and the survey respondent. It covers the end-to-end process of employee engagement - from the survey itself, managers having a conversation with the respondent while maintaining their anonymity, building action plans, to providing ample resources to improve the overall engagement of the team.

In addition to that, as a survey admin in our company, Peakon has a superb Support Team!

Maintaining a friendly work environment can be difficult to do if my employees do not interact properly with each other or if they simply do not trust each other, thanks to Peakon I was able to improve communication between employees in a fairly simple way since the program provides a fairly secure and reliable web environment where my staff can give their opinions about the company anonymously.
In addition, the interface is quite simple to use, so anyone could use the program without any problem. The attention from your customer service team was quite good in general, solving my doubts in a short period of time.

Although it is provided with metrics, I think that these can be improved to show the information in a better way.

At first due to its multiple functions it is a bit cumbersome to handle, but when you know what it is for and what it is used for, everything changes, the functions should be improved to further optimize the learning curve, which is not steep but yes a bit confusing.

The sales and success teams are engaging and helpful. Peakon cares a lot about its customers and is always willing to help. The app has a lot of features and granularity (maybe too much) and a modern design. Peakon seems to be investing heavily in growth at the moment, so there are frequent updates.

I would recommend folks considering Peakon look at the alternatives in the market (you can google employee engagement platform and find many). For our needs, Peakon offered the right blend of automation and customisation with some of the best analytics and insights. It isn't the cheapest platform, but we believe the ROI is justifiable.

**What do you dislike about Workday Peakon Employee Voice?**

There's potentially a bit too much going on that it can be overwhelming. Also wish there was deeper integration with Slack where you could answer each survey from within Slack via a PeakonBot with dropdowns for your answer (or adding free text).

For organisations just getting started with employee engagement surveys and platforms, there are simpler platforms. You may want to start with something free to get into the habit. Once you find value in surveying employees regularly and find the need for a more robust platform, you may want to "upgrade" to Peakon.

Give them a call. The team will walk you through the platform and answer all your questions. As mentioned previously, you may want to start with a free tool (or an app that has a free version) and then upgrade to Peakon once you're all in on the mindset of regularly employee pulses.

I'm a fan of anonymity, especially when it comes to these kinds of activities. More than anything I want people to be honest. Peakon will not display results for a manager with fewer than three direct reports. While I wouldn't want the direct manager to be able to see results, I do believe that the HR team should be able to see them (regardless of the quantity of reviewers).

Simple to set up and launch, reporting capabilities. Reporting functionalities normally are great. Very straight forward and user friendly. We have not used manager access as we use this platform globally and not all of our regions ready for that yet. However the functionality is there for more autonomous cultures.

Great for those looking for a simple and lean solution. Workday comes in Premium package only so it means you have to pay extra. There are other platf orms offer this service for free. Their customer support team is lovely  and very friendly.

It has so much insight and information on how your employees are feeling. There are also some great methods, including videos, articles and tasks to help Managers improve engagement topic scores {areas like Workload, Autonomy etc}. It's very easy to navigate and drill down to the level of detail you need.

I think some of the reports are a little 'heavy' in terms of the information that's in them - that doesn't make it easy to digest or succinctly present the key messages.

Generally averse to feedback tools and software, Peakon has changed my PoV completely. The workflow is amazingly designed, and it facilitates fun and seamless interaction and data collection within the system. Also, loved the way the overall product has been thought through.

Real-time scores. Doesn't overwhelm managers as much as other processes which can be like drinking from a firehose.  I also love that it can help managers focus--instead of just giving a team or a manager a score there is a more specific score rolling up from the driver to help with the focus and where energy should be spent.

Integration with software.  We have been unable to find a way to have Peakon integrated into the API we used (mind you we took a break a while back).  We have ExponentHR but previously had ADP and they were speaking to the issues to integrate it.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Peakon Employee Voice:**

Be prepared for the first 60-90 days being a bit overwhelming for new or young managers.  It can be a lot at the beginning.  Peakon prepared us for this and it has been true.  I would also say, don't do Peakon unless there is first alignment that as a company you want the feedback, you will read the feedback, and you will respond to the feedback.  As I like to say, "the only thing worse than asking employees for more feedback is doing nothing with the feedback."

The data and science behind it is so good, that one of our directors asked to use it for external customers! Biggest is fact based decisions - we now have evidence in hard numbers as to how people are feeling.  We can quickly identify issues, take action, and see the changes within a matter of weeks or months - not years like the old days.

We've finally managed to get line managers to take an interest and push the responsibility for the engagement of their people back to the line managers themselves - and not HR.

**What do you like best about Workday Peakon Employee Voice?**

Very easy to navigate the site.  To have a summary of Key Drivers of engagement front and center when you login on the dashboard is great.  Every week our dashboard is presented to our leadership team giving them an overview of highs/lows.  We shut off all questions for a week and substituted them with Covid-19 questions to a get feedback from our employees how we were responding to their concerns.

**What do you dislike about Workday Peakon Employee Voice?**

Not too much to dislike.  If there was a little more analysis options to use for our quarterly board meetings that would be great.

A great tool to get the voice of your team.  It can be used for not just the standard questions can be adapted to add questions for current situation so you don't need a separate survey platform.

**What problems is Workday Peakon Employee Voice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mentioned above by us changing our questions for a week to get feedback about Covid-19 has been helpful in our return to work strategy.  It's a voice that sometimes people may not have or are afraid to speak up to their manager.   We have had some quick and easy wins with concerns that were mentioned.
