This software is almost unique. I never tougth that PDF could be editable cause they were made not to be changed. You can edit the pages , insert new ones, add images and even make anotations. I use the Desktop version almost daily. I love that it can do virtually everything that Acrobat Pro can, but at a much smaller cost. PDFescape is perfect for my typical PDF editing uses: merging PDFs together, inserting or changing text, adding images, a freehand drawing/pencil tool, creating PDFs out of other file types like JPG or DOCX, compressing the file size of larger PDFs, and more! There's hardly anything I dislike about it. The only Acrobat Pro feature that I haven't yet found in PDFescape Desktop is the ability to recognize image-based text with OCR. (Granted, I have the Premium subscription, so maybe the Ultimate subscription might have OCR, since Ultimate does have more features than Premium, but I'm not sure whether OCR is one of them.) I like the possibility that it gives me to create and edit PDF files online. You can insert words, shapes and images. It has an option that allows freehand drawings. As well as, highlight some aspects within the text, cross out, underline and rotate the document. The insertion of comments is also possible with this software.
