I was starting a new career and because of the situation of the pandemic, everything was to be done from home. I never had to make an electronic signature before and wasn't able to figure it out quickly with Adobe Reader and I didn't want to pay for a premium plan just for a few signatures. So with a quick search, I discovered PDF Reader Pro. I loved that it was straightforward, quick and easy to do exactly what I needed at the time, sign my new job documents. I also like that we can add text, notes and colours to highlight text in a PDF. It is convenient to use. **What do you dislike about PDF Reader Pro?** I continued to use it afterwards to fill out forms and sign them. However, I disliked that once I saved my document after filling it and signing it, after closing it and reopening it, I realized that what I entered wasn't saved. I wasn't sure at first what was the issue. It seemed that there was a way to save it that worked and another way that didn't. I'm still not sure but one way that seemed to work best. I never really took the time to figure out what was the problem. I just made quick tries to get the result I needed at the moment in a hurry. I can't remember exactly but it was either that it worked best to keep the modifications when I printed the document to PDF or when I saved it using the Save as or save as flattened PDF. At some point, I figured out how to use the signature functionality for free with Adobe Reader and started using it instead because it worked perfectly everytime. I deleted so many other apps because this one can do it all, and then some. Overall, the tools are especially ideal for those who do a lot of office work. I was looking for something to convert Word 'docx' to 'PDF' and read them aloud to me, which this app does seamlessly. That one feature is phenomenal as it lets you change between a multitude of different voices and also provides 'continuous reading', which allows me to loop audio from documents over bluetooth in my car and listen on the go. The in-app scanner is highly intelligent, comparable to TinyScanner or even Office Lens by Microsoft, and provides the much-needed nuances of smart border detection and contrast setting. **What do you dislike about PDF Reader Pro?** I was not able to unlock several features I wanted until purchasing the subscription. I feel like this may create a roadblock for users who are unsure of committing to this product. However, a trial feature is provided for this very purpose, though several users report glitches that the trial does not activate premium features. **Recommendations to others considering PDF Reader Pro:** Highly recommend buying the subscription, ESPECIALLY IF doing so allows you to minimize your usage of other tools.
