What do you like best?

This can extract raster image from pdf, save to disk and convert to any other formats.such as BMP, JPG, , TIFF, PICT, PNG, EPS, GIF and etc. Easy, quick to use and it has a user friendly interface. easy to install and free version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There is nothing to say anything bad about this product. but there is no editing option the files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

PDF Image Extractor is a simple program whose purpose is to extract images from PDF documents and save them for later use.

Using it is easy, we simply select the PDF document that contains the images that we want to extract, and very quickly and easily we can separate our images to use them where we need it.

This in turn allows us to convert to different types of image formats such as JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIF and more.

This software is very comfortable and simple, its interface is simple and allows anyone to adapt to its use quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

When using the free version we can only use it in a very limited way because it allows us to use it in a single PDF document at the same time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The software makes it easy to automate extracting images from PDFs. Installation is easy and the download as zip function is convenient. It is easy to install from the chrome web store and the drag and drop functionality makes usage a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

PDF Image Extractor requires you to disable your popup blocker, then refresh the page, in order to use the service. The page itself does have a few obtrusive ads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Reference materials and images can easily be pulled from PDFs. PDF viewers can be bloated and PDFs can also be quite large, so having a fast way to extract these images automatically is useful. Usually one would use adobe photoshop to extract images from a PDF if needed, but that can be quite time-consuming. If the file is flattened, you're required to take screenshots with a screen capture tool. This can be valuable for large PDFs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

This is a great extension for removing images embedded inside a PDF. Highly recommended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike the interface. It could be better and more user-friendly. There are too many ads as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like this because it allows for emailing the items to someone else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thing that I don’t like is that it doesn’t allow you to edit it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It would be great if it could allow for editing with a password lock so that the creator can edit it but when it is emailed, the receiver cannot re-edit it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This tool makes it very easy to extract images out of PDF files without the hassle of downloading a PDF as an image file then cropping. Saves a lot of time, plus is a free service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
