PDF Craft is document conversion and translation software for teams working with scanned books, research papers, and technical documents. It turns scanned PDFs into editable Markdown or reflowable EPUB and helps recover document structure and content, including headings, tables of contents, footnotes, tables, formulas, and images. You can translate PDF and EPUB documents, specify preferred terminology, and create translation-only or bilingual EPUB editions. Bilingual EPUBs place the translation after each original passage. PDF translations can also be written back onto the original pages. The online service lets you upload, process, and download documents in your browser without installing Python or configuring OCR infrastructure. Developers can use the MIT-licensed PDF Craft Python library to integrate conversion into their own applications and run OCR locally or through a compatible remote service. The open-source library is available at https://github.com/oomol-lab/pdf-craft. The hosted service and client apps have separate terms. PDF Craft helps make scanned content easier to search, edit, translate, and reuse in document workflows. Conversion quality depends on source quality and layout.
