What do you like best about PDF.co?

It simply the best choices after comparing with the similar products out there in the market. By comparing the features and prices, it gives the most value out of all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF.co?

At first it seems to be overvalued comparing to other similar products cause the it seems to use high credits. But, after calculation, it turns out to be the most value for money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Everything you could wish for in a PDF API"
5/5
What do you like best about PDF.co?

Their UI and documentation were extremely easy to navigate. Pricing is very straight forward. It's integrated with Zapier and Make but I ended up using the direct API which was just as easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF.co?

The credits can be a bit deceiving but I understand why. For example, I had one doc I needed to convert to a PDF and the credits were 9 but it was only 1 page. Then I had one that was signficantly bigger and the credits for that one job were over 300. Then every endpoint you use has it's own credit amount. They do have a calculator but you really don't know till you test and finalize it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy PDF Parsing"
4.5/5
What do you like best about PDF.co?

A lot of these APIs have confusing web consoles with 20 different tabs to click through. PDF.co is super simple, literally just an API key and the endpoint you want to use. It took me ten mins to set up and implement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF.co?

As of now I have no complaints. I wish it were a little cheaper, but I don't dislike anything about the product itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flawless integration with automation tools for document processing!"
5/5
What do you like best about PDF.co?

PDF.co has been a game changer in processing invoices and price notices from our vendors. Using PDF.co's PDF parser is saving us 15+ hours monthly in processing these documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF.co?

Overall, it's a great tool, but their is a significant learning curve. Getting to know the PDF parser tool has been quite a journey. The built-in tool that "auto detects" potential fields in a PDF hasn't worked at all for us. We've had to go through each document type to identify the fields that we want to parse. This required spending a lot of time reading through the documentation to figure out how to write the formulas needed to identify and extract the correct information from each field. It's "low-code" but there's still a lot to learn to make the most of the PDF parser tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One Of The Best PDF to TXT API'S Out There"
4/5
What do you like best about PDF.co?

PDF.co provides in my opinion one of the most reliable and efficient solutions for converting PDFs to TXT. The API is easy to use, well-documented, and supports various customization options, making it ideal for both developers and businesses. Its accuracy in text extraction (especially from text-simple) is a major plus for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF.co?

Processing very large PDFs can sometimes take a bit longer, depending on the document's complexity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent product for parsing PDFs"
4.5/5
What do you like best about PDF.co?

There is so much flexibility in the various API tools that this product has, there are virtually no use cases we can't support. Their support team is incredibly responsive and helpful for any issues I've had. This product has enabled us to offer really powerful integrations for our customers and has saved our customers 100s of manual hours.

We use it every day and it has been very easy to use the API calls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF.co?

At first it was tricky to figure out how to build the document parsing templates. The support team was absolutely incredible and very helpful in getting me off and running though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Saved me 5+ hours per project."
4/5
What do you like best about PDF.co?

It's super easy to use. I was able to quickly set up automation workflows without difficulty. It's part of my daily operations now. All it took was a few clicks to set up the API to my workflows, and I was already live. 5+ hours of my life per project back! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF.co?

As with any API usage services, I have to keep close eyes on API pricing monitoring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"PDF.co has been a great tool for document management for our services business"
4.5/5
What do you like best about PDF.co?

The most helpful thing about PDF.co is that the API has a robust set of functions that I can tap into, as I need to do a variety of manipulations of documents for processing. My goal has been to have PDF.co handle all document processing (to / from PDF, etc.) and so far it has hit the mark.

The other great value of PDF.co is the integration into Make.com as that is the backbone of our technology. It is easy to use and setup in Make.com. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF.co?

The credits / pricing can be a bit opaque, and sometimes I am surprised by how many credits are required for certain tasks. I have found, though, that there are different ways to set up the PDF.co API functions, and I have usually been able to find more credit-efficient ways to do document processing when needed. "Feature rich and intuitive API"
4/5
What do you like best about PDF.co?

After deprecating libpdf in favour of a 3rd party service, PDF.co was the only service we found that offered us a feature rich API that was easy to integrate and allowed us to use templates with named input fields. It was easy to implement through their REST API. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF.co?

We wish that subscriptions had overages or some other feature that allows us to automatically replenish credits if they run out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So far, I haven't seen any! Maybe there are some, but not for our purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
