ComplyLoft Accessibility is a PDF accessibility remediation platform that helps organisations add semantic structure to PDF documents so they can be read by screen readers and other assistive technologies. Most PDFs are created as visual layouts. They look correct on screen, but contain no underlying structure for assistive technology to interpret. There are no tagged headings, no defined reading order, no table relationships, and no descriptions for images. ComplyLoft Accessibility is used by document-heavy organisations in financial services, higher education, legal services, healthcare, and the public sector to remediate PDF documents at scale rather than tagging each one manually. Key features: - Auto-tags document content with semantic structure including headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, and form fields - Repairs reading order so screen readers present content in the correct sequence, particularly in multi-column layouts - Generates alternative text for images using AI, with confidence scoring so reviewers know which descriptions to check - Supports both ad-hoc remediation through a web interface and high-volume batch processing via API - Produces a detailed remediation report for each document showing every structural change made Manual PDF remediation in Adobe Acrobat typically takes a specialist 2 to 8 hours per complex document. ComplyLoft reduces that effort to minutes for simple, high-volume documents like bank statements and billing notices following template configuration. Complex documents such as annual reports go through automated processing, with the organisation's own reviewers verifying the output. The platform is ISO 27001 certified and deployed on dedicated cloud infrastructure in the EU.
