## pCloud Reviews
  ### 1. A cloud storage - just what I was looking for!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Egor U. | Bandmaster, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2021

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

pCloud lets you sync, back up, and store files with ease. You get a virtual drive in Finder, and it behaves like another folder on your computer. You can also purchase military-grade encryption for the Crypto folder.

File syncing between your computer and your pCloud online account is SUPER fast - almost as fast as working locally on my Mac. It honestly doesn’t feel like cloud storage at all. It also has a great iPhone app, plus a built-in scanner.

I’ve now removed Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive from my Mac, backed everything up with pCloud, and doing that has also noticeably reduced my RAM usage.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

While you can back up Dropbox, Google Drive, Facebook, and OneDrive, there isn’t really universal management, and you can’t move files from one of those storage services to another.

It’s also a little costly for those who pay monthly.

The mobile app scanner needs improvement. It doesn’t have many settings, and it doesn’t remember the settings you used last time.

Public links for sharing look pretty ugly, and there’s no link shortener.

**Recommendations to others considering pCloud:**

Great modern online storage that will offload your drive and make it into a virtual drive as fats as your built-in drive! Great and fast support!

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the limited 500 GB SSD on my iMac, I can move all my storage-heavy files to pCloud. It’s really easy to do directly from Finder. It offloads files from my computer, but it still feels like everything is right there on it. The web interface is great, too.

Sharing files is just as simple, and it also includes more advanced sharing options like password protection, link expiry, and link branding.

  ### 2. pCloud the affordable sync and backup solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mureed a. | Web Developer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2021

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

It is complete sync and backup for all your devices: computer, mobile, and I have used it to back up my server using the WebDAV option in WHM. pCloud offers a 2 TB lifetime offer which makes it the best affordable solution and can be upgraded when needed and shared among your family.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

pCLoud Drive on Microsoft Windows has a problem when trying to sync large files; it may damage the file and some other files while syncing it; this happened to me; in addition, pcloud WebDAV cannot handle large files while using it as a backup solution.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing files between five members of my family and sharing work files between my company employees, also providing my customers with a link to upload their files and arrange them by date saves our days.

  ### 3. Great Lifetime Deal: Simple Interface, Reliable Sync, and Peace of Mind Backups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

Great lifetime deal which I purchased some years back. I upload everything to it. Interface is simple to use. Syncs files on my devices. Gives me peace of mind that I've got a back up of my files if anything happens.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

If you put files in Crypto then you have to download them you can't view online.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making sure my files are safely uploaded and synced so I can use across multiple devices when necessary and to make sure that if anything happened to my laptop I'd have my files safely elsewhere. This has helped me out a time or two in the past.

  ### 4. Reliable and Secure Cloud Storage with Great Performance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

pCloud’s strongest advantage for me is the balance between fast performance, strong file security, and simple usability. I really like that it offers lifetime storage as an option, which makes it more cost-effective in the long run. The interface feels clean and intuitive, and uploading large files is noticeably faster compared to many other cloud services I’ve used. The ability to sync multiple folders and access everything smoothly across devices has been extremely convenient.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

One drawback is that pCloud could improve its built-in collaboration features. While the core storage functionality is excellent, real-time document collaboration is limited, and sometimes I have to rely on external tools. Another minor issue is that the mobile app occasionally feels slower when loading large previews. These aren’t major problems, but fixing them would make the experience even better.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

pCloud helps me centralize all my important files—especially photos—and keeps them accessible from any device. It solves the problem of fragmented storage because I no longer need external drives or multiple cloud accounts. Its strong encryption and file-versioning features help protect important data and recover older versions when needed. Overall, it improves my workflow by keeping everything organized and backed up in one secure place.

  ### 5. Reliable and secure cloud storage with flexible features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sidath P. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

I really appreciate the lifetime storage option and the flexibility pCloud provides in terms of plans and usage. The built-in media player makes it easy to stream music and videos directly from the cloud, while file versioning and backup options ensure I don’t lose important data. The pCloud Drive feature also allows me to save space on my computer by storing large files online without affecting my local storage.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

Although pCloud is excellent overall, some features like pCloud Crypto require an additional paid upgrade instead of being included in standard plans. Customer support, while responsive, could be faster, especially when dealing with more technical questions. Also, the initial sync for very large folders can be a bit slow, though afterward the performance is smooth.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

pCloud has helped me consolidate my personal and professional files into a single secure platform. For photo management, it allows me to back up and organize my photos without worrying about device storage limits. For work, it simplifies sharing large files with colleagues and clients, eliminating the need for email attachments or external drives. The selective sync and pCloud Drive features help me save local storage space, while version history ensures I can recover older versions of files when needed. Overall, it has reduced storage costs, improved data security, and streamlined collaboration.

No real-time collaboration and the email-only customer support are a little frustrating, sometimes has performance issues and the free versionis very limited.

  ### 12. My favourite cloud service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emma K. | Marketing Strategy Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2024

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

I love how easy it is to access from all my devices, whether I'm at home or on the go. It's super easy to upload (and encrypt) my files and photos/videos. And trivially easy to share with friends and family who aren't super techy, so it's really convenient that they just need to click a link to watch whatever they're looking for.

Also, note that they offer generous amounts of cloud storage for a decent price. They offer lifetime deals a few times a year - stock up when they do!

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

It doesn't allow me to back up my phones/tablets to it. That's more a factor of Apple not allowing it, of course, but it's frustrating to have all this space available and not be able to backup my phone to it regularly. I can back up/sync photos, but not contacts.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mainly use it for storing everything I need to access on the go, instead of having it all live on my laptop or my phone. Upload it to pCloud, and I know I'll be able to retrieve it with no problems when I'm away from my regular-use devices, in or out of town.

  ### 13. pCloud Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Todd R. | Principal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2021

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

pCloud's reliability and security are its strong points. The upload and download speeds are faster than any service I have ever used and I have never experienced any downtime with pCloud in the two years I have been using it. And the extra layer of security added by pCloud Crypto is outstanding. Especially the way in which it so seemlessly integrates with the Windows 10 file system.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

Occasionally, you need to restart your computer after updating the software in order for it to restart properly. Other than that, it works pretty flawlessly.

**Recommendations to others considering pCloud:**

I would recommend trying the free version of the product before using the paid version. For the most part it works the same except that the Crypto feature is not available as that is a paid add-on. Still, I think you could get a very good sense of how the upload, download and sharing features work with the free product before making a commitment to purchase the service. Also, if you decided to purchase it, I would suggest considering the lifetime plan. The cost for the 2TB plan is very reasonable and I believe you would recover your monthly plan costs very quickly if you purchased the lifetime plan.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

pCloud provides a good amount of encrypted storage at a reasonable price. And it provides that storage with a high level of reliability and confidence.

  ### 14. Lifetime purchase is a good investment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alessandro B. | webmaster, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2023

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

Now my digital life and my work are all in the cloud, I needed space, a lot of space and I think pCloud was the right choice. Lots of space, an appropriate price and a service that works. It's easy to use and I implemented it in no time on my mobile phone, computer and tablet. I use it every day because it is the container for all my files

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

It has a small flaw which is a bit of a nuisance for me. It doesn't start automatically when I start it on my PC. Every day I turn it on and then I have to log in to be able to start working. Once logged in on Windows I would like to have my pCloud directly without logging in with my Google account every day. In the end, access to my PC is password protected and once I log in, Gmail and Drive work without having to log in every day. Why does pCloud ask me every day to log in with my Google account? I understand security but this is ridiculous.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a lot of space and here I found it. For now I have 2Tb but I'm considering moving to 10. The photos of a lifetime, the work files are all here and consequently in an instant on PC, smartphone, etc.

  ### 15. Retrieving Content from Trash is a NightMare

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priyanka D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2023

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

They seem to have better security and payment plans.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

1) Not the best UI. Often very un-intuitive design.
2) Customer support via email only. Sometimes if we need urgent help, or cannot figure their UI out, it can lead to useless mails back n forth from customer support being totally unhelpful and useless
3) Payment glitches leads to ALL CONTENT being moved to TRASH. retrieving the content from TRASH is a terribly difficult process. Simply upgrading the plan DOES NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM. This is why I plan to migrate out from their platform and NOT Recommend them at all. BEcause we COULD LOSE ALL OUR STORED FILES on this platform.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me store my photo and video content

  ### 16. Great pricing but inconsistent performance

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2023

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

1) Clean interface

2) Support is very responsive

3) Affordable and value for money

4) Software is updated regularly

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

1) Have to keep logging in all the time.

2) Crashes or hangs often - probably best for low storage users, not heavy use.

3) Buggy and the only solution seems to be to reinstall. Can be frustrating

4) Not sure if I will ever be able to backup all my materials

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly backup. Less for purposes of sharing unless filesizes are very big. Dropbox and Google drive are better for that purpose.

  ### 17. pCloud is an amazing service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sharon B. | Owner | Lead Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2023

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

I love that I can extend my storage for an affordable life-time payment that works just like a physical hard drive on my computer.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

I honestly have not run into anything I don't like.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The solutions that pClound have solved for me are many, but the main one is having additional storage space that all parts of our team can access, no matter the location. Additionally pCloud acts just like a physical hard drive on my computer which saves countless hours per month uploading and downloading files, I work right off of the pCloud server.

  ### 18. I like this storage platform for cloud storage

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David C. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2023

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

I like that they have a free account you can get to have a certain amount for free. Their upgrades look decent price and it seems like it works pretty well. As good as others.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

Free could be bigger I guess. And I would like to get a large amount of storage for an inexpensive price with a reputable storage platform. They are not bad ,but at the moment I am having to wait because of price.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Free storage for my photos and other files. I may upgrade at some point for more storage. It has helped my productivity and helped me feel that my files are secure instead of worrying about losing them.

  ### 19. File sharing can't get much easier!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marlys A. | Trade Show Consultant & Author, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2022

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

pCloud is a great way to share files with anyone – even transferring your own files from one device to another. I started with pCloud's free plan, which is very generous for everyday file sharing, but there are benefits on a paid plan (including the ability to create custom-branded download pages). There's a web version plus a mobile app, so you can access files no matter which device you're on. And you can share files with anyone ... they don't need a pCloud account to view or download.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

I don't really have any complaints - it's easy to use and meets my needs.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've used it to send files to clients, share review copies of my book with beta readers, or transfer photos from my phone to my computer in a flash. It's the best file sharing tool I've ever used.

  ### 20. Very good idea, used to be free

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren S. | Medicare Insurance Agent, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2023

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

It used to be free and had a good idea behind it

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

It's now expensive and they deleted my formerly free account

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It used to give a little peace of mind for cloud back up solutions

  ### 21. pCloud, my loud storage of choice

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brady P. | Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2023

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

First, unlike Dropbox, I don't have 87 million conflicting files and, as such, duplicates. I love that I can run it on my phone and PC and that it will play the videos very well without buffering issues.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

Needs a duplicate finder (not for conflicting files, but when transferring files between devices that aren't linked to pCloud).

Its UX can be confusing, and I still can't figure out the difference between pCloud and pCloud Sync.

That's about it, it's pretty great other than that.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a large cloud storage solution for both personal and professional work. It allows me to collect video and pics from my phones to capture on automatic and then delete from the device so that I have only one copy.

  ### 22. Inexpensive Lifetime Data Backup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derek P. | Author, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2022

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

pCloud gives you a lifetime of data backup for little money. They have secure servers that follow strict privacy standards. Their website and apps are easy to use. You can connect all of your devices. And you can upload files and share them with other people. There's also a built-in media player for watching movies, listening to music, or browsing images. It does everything I want it to do.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

I wish pCloud had more click-and-drag features like Google Drive. It would make it easier to use. There are slight UX issues like this one that get in the way of using the app sometimes. For example, creating folders and moving a bunch of files around can be tricky. I think they need to invest more in usability.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

pCloud made it so that I don't have to pay an annual fee for backup services. I now have more data in my account than I'll probably ever use, and it only cost a few hundred dollars. The longer I use it, the more it pays for itself. I also use pCloud to collaborate with my team of remote workers.

  ### 23. With PCloud we have access to our documents, whenever we need them

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kendall A. | Community and Brand Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2022

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

It is a cloud-based software, so, with internet access, no matter where we are, we can access the files that are hosted there. It also has a mobile version, so its access is not limited only to a computer, since we can enter the platform from the phone and download the files or view them online. We can view the audio and video files that we upload to the system, since it has an audio player and a video player, for convenience, without the need for an additional program.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

I have had some problems uploading files to the cloud, especially video files, as it takes a long time to upload them. If it would allow integration with similar software to have all the files you have, in the same system, it would be great. The fact that it is a cloud-based system means that you need an excellent internet connection to access the files.

**Recommendations to others considering pCloud:**

This is one of the easiest to use software we have used, with features that allow us to be more productive at work, such as synchronization of documents in real time. We recommend it to all companies that manage documents and files.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using this platform to have all our files and documents centralized for the use of the entire work team and thus save time in sending each file. I like that the files are edited and synchronized in real time, which allows us to see every change we make to the document. We have centralized all the documents, files, videos and more, of our company, in the software, which has allowed us to be more agile at work, since the whole team knows where to look, saving time in sending. We are more productive in our jobs since we have access to information on both mobile and computer.

  ### 24. Buyer beware! Cheap price = no support when you files suddenly vanish!

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2022

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

The price is competitive, but not outstandingly cheap. The apps and web interface however are shocking, buggy, and have no consideration for being user friendly. The support is to all intents and purposes, useless. So you're buying a price, and you're on your own.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

- Unreliable service. I have provided all evidence to their team that 800GB of data was lost by their platform without by doing or consent.

- Buggy web user interface, very "barebone" desktop sync app, and the linux cli needs to be restarted every few weeks for clogging the OS with a dump file growing out of control.

- No support: don't expect any empathy or willingness to help you if you experience issues - their support will repeatedly blame you or say that they have not received your response, turn around in circles and restart the conversation with new staff, or "escalate" to never be responded again. I have an email trail going back 3 full months and is yet to be resolved!

**Recommendations to others considering pCloud:**

Consider not using pCloud just because they are a few dollars cheaper. If you need support just once (for instance if files disappear from your account!), your wasted time will be fare more expensive than the few dollars saved.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Considering other options available like MEGA and many others, the ONLY problem solved here is saving a few dollars. They don't offer any competitive advantage.

  ### 25. Pcloud Is Saving Me From Needing to Upgrade my 2014 Computer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tricia B. | Business Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2021

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

The vast amount of storage room is greatly appreciated! I store all my images, files, and videos with room to spare & I've been using PCloud for years. PCloud was by far the best price for the massive amount of storage offered. I also like the easy file sharing feature!

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

I had some trouble syncing my computer files with my pcloud files, so simply just upload new files every few months. It's my fault though - I shoud take the time to figure out how to sync properly, which would save me time.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm an online course creator, so have a lot of huge video files. Pcloud stores them all without a hitch. I like the piece of mind that all my valuabel information is backed up.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

One of the major disadvantages of pCloud is we have to pay additionally to encrypt files, the feature called pCloud Crypto. This is really bad because we are already paying for service.

  ### 27. ! Is the best

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ana luz m. | Secretaria de la unidad, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2021

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

The way that it refreshes when you drop something in to the pCloud and in a flash everybody with access can perceive what you're seeing. It's an extraordinary method to remain coordinated on any PC from anyplace. It's not difficult to sort out as your group has full control of how you need to set up your pCloud framework; for instance, we use envelopes reliant upon customers, organization explicit records, required resources, and pictures. Recordings are effectively transferred. What's more, you can without much of a stretch offer a connection to the pCloud with other people who might not approach yet you need them to see a specific envelope of resources or recordings.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

The Chrome expansion never appears to turn out accurately for me. Likewise, it didn't actually happen precisely like, on the main arrangement on my telephone, it promptly fired support up photographs that I could never have upheld up on the grounds that they weren't pertinent to the capacity. I can't help thinking that the individual should not have anything like that arranged right away. I had the option to enter the settings just as change them, however it appears as though I'm blowing up

**Recommendations to others considering pCloud:**

pCloud is great for the vast majority. It does well overall, as record extra room, being multiplatform and furthermore a decent client experience with getting sorted out organizers and moving information. Where it would absolutely be in the ideal work areas for dealing with papers like different records and different arrangements. The capacity to oversee Google records, accounting pages and different things would surely be a critical benefit. The capacity to utilize a cycle to store document alternate ways.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was giving different projects a shot a few gadgets that I don't approach. Indeed, I had as of now attempted a few arrangements, yet with pCloud I fostered another record and in almost no time I was additionally ready to run a test and download enrollment reports with valuable troubleshoot subtleties for the vital apparatus. It is superb that they have numerous gadgets accessible for establishment.

  ### 28. pCloud is the All-Around Best Cloud File Sharing/Backup Service!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danny B. | CEO (Chief Everything Officer), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2021

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

I share folders with clients. With other services (Dropbox is one example), the client needs to have a Dropbox account AND enough free space on their account to hold the folder I'm sharing with them. With pCloud, they don't need an account and the amount of space I have (4 TBs) is the only thing affected by any folder I share with them.
Also, it's usable across my Windows, Android, and iOS devices. I can see all my saved files no matter what device I'm using. For example, recently I was at a doctor's appointment and the doc needed to see the results of a study that was done a year ago. I happened to keep the results on my pCloud and was able to pull it up on my phone and the doc read it right there.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

There's very little I'd change about the system. One thing I'd like to see is a list of everything that needs to be synced when it's uploading and downloading. Now it shows you the number of files and the total size of what needs to be synced (at least when on a PC), but you don't which files. If you knew which files and you were waiting to shut down, but you definitely needed something synced, you have to wait until 100% is synced to shut down.
Another thing although it's not a dislike as much as "would be nice". I have several different email addresses that I use with different people that I share files with. There is no way to change the email account that's notifying the other person of the share so I have to send the notification from an email account that might not be recognized.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

File sharing for me among my many devices with updates being available across platforms.
File sharing with multiple 3rd parties limited to just the parts I want shared.
Seamless updating of files as I make changes.
Backups of my PC in the background without affecting my work.
Hard to find 4TB of storage anywhere for a reasonable price.

  ### 29. Nice to know my files are backed up and available any time.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trish H. | Creator of online courses and clinician at Working Equitation Simplified, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2022

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

The sync folder is my favorite part as it automatically updates only the files changed and I can access it from any of my devices. It was so much more affordable than dropbox.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

Can't think of anything. I really liked that I can give links to others to add to a shared folder.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to share files, and not be filling up my laptop is awesome.

  ### 30. pcloud is nice.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** _최도윤 6. | student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2021

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

I loved that this gave me free 5GB(or 10GB)! It was nice. The premium system is well priced. I use this software to see all those videos and CDs to do homework.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

Well, it was great, but the price was too high. If you are not living in Europe or North America, the uploading speed would be slow. I hope it makes more servers.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are no problems, I can use it every time, every day.

  ### 31. buyer beware: terrible upload speeds and terrible customer service

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 26, 2021

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

(edit: refund was eventually issued after much ado) I wasn't able to get files upload at speeds faster than 100MB per HOUR so there is nothing I liked about this app.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

It was terrible and the company refused to refund even though I requested it only 28 days after purchase. I have never had any problems uploading to other apps so I asked for a refund, 3 weeks after my purchase, and it was refused. Now my account is deleted and they have my money. Customer service was rude and dismissive and did not care at all.

**Recommendations to others considering pCloud:**

avoid.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

none.

  ### 32. Almost Cloud

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luke S. | Software Tools Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

pCloud is the most cost-effective tool in its class. Period. This includes their individual and family plans as well as their business offerings. Their security is top notch, so your data will be safe. Something unique about their desktop software is that it connects to your cloud drive as if it were a USB flash drive or similar. Most companies like Google and Microsoft are moving this direction for the usability, but pCloud was a pioneer in this type of development.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

The only reason we moved away from pCloud was the lack of integration. We needed something that could back up to the cloud from our NAS drives and other Linux servers, but the options from pCloud weren't as customizable as we needed for our business. If they improve this, we would likely come back to this tool.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

pCloud has excellent backup features; everything from heavy files to the photos on your smartphone are accessible from anywhere, anytime. This is essentially industry standard at this point in time, but pCloud does this well and the set up was simple.

  ### 33. pCloud keeping our business documents in line and our team on the same page.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tessa B. | Public Relations and Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2021

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

The fact that it updates as soon as you drop something in to the pCloud and instantly everyone with access can see what you're seeing. It's a great way to stay organized on any computer from anywhere. It's easy to organize as your team has full control of how you want to set up your pCloud system; for example, we use folders dependent on clients, company specific documents, required assets, and images. Videos are easily uploaded. And you can easily share a link to the pCloud with others who may not have access but you want them to see a certain folder of assets or videos.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

It logs me out every single day, so I have to relogin and go through all the steps every morning which is a bit irritating and inefficient. Sometimes it also doesn't work well on my MAC but works well on a PC.

**Recommendations to others considering pCloud:**

I would 10/10 recommend using pCloud as a source of managing all company assets. It's a great solution to ensure you're prepared with your team to take on any project and have the necessary assets readily available. Our team has found it beneficial as we can all login to the same account and easily see everything uploaded at the blink of any eye.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team has access to ALL important documents, graphics, contents. Its a great centralized hub to hold everything from client content to company assets. We're all able to find the things we need without bothering on another.

  ### 34. So much storage!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kimberly B. | Graduate Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2021

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

I like that PCloud gives plenty of storage. I needed more storage for my photos and videos that students submitted after events, and I knew that a cloud solution would work best. When I found PCloud, I liked that there was a tiered system for storage levels because it is like a competition to get higher and higher tiers. First, I used different email accounts to get higher level tiers so that I could have more storage space. Then, I used the link feature to share the link with all of my students. They uploaded photos and videos from a leadership retreat we took, and I still use those photos for marketing and social media for showing off student involvement.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

I'm not too fond of PCloud's folders system, as the folders are challenging to navigate when the files could just be displayed on the main screen. Sometimes my students will even upload the photos in subfolders, which takes even more clicks to open. I like a fast, smooth interface, and I believe PCloud could do better at making their interface smooth.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have solved the problem of having students send photos and videos to my email or not share them at all. Now, my students love to upload their photos and videos to PCloud and see them posted on Instagram and the website in the following weeks and months.

  ### 35. A secured european solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jean-Marie P. | VP Business Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2022

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

Location of data in Europe (USA possible). CloudACT non applicable! Easy to use, integrated with Windows. Web solution. Easy versioning of files. Price is reasonable.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

The migration to European data centers appeared 1 year ago and was not well managed. Now it's done.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Video storage with easy access for our users. The inscription is not mandatory.

  ### 36. Missing two very important/base features

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian V. | Agile, Lean, and Scrum Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2021

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

The upload and download speed is excellent, maybe because the server and I are in the same region (EU).

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

The two base features that are missing are:
1. a Download / Upload queue screen
2. a Log file

Any decent software (MEGA, etc.) provides feedback and control over the uploading/downloading of files.

At no point in time, you know what the software is doing.

If you have a problem, there is nothing useful you can send to Support, because there is no log or queue. This lack of debugging information made Support for me utterly useless.

I highly do not recommend this software.

Later Edit: Because I felt that the pCloud software is highly unreliable and because I felt the Support was quite aggressive, I feared that my files would be at the mercy of their emotional states, so I decided to delete my account. I did not get a refund; I forfeited the 245 euros invested in the 2TG lifetime plan.
I hope you will not make the same mistake I made!
You can read the whole story here: https://pcloud-mega-dropbox-review.adrianvintu.net/

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am backing up mostly large video files

**Official Response from pCloud Team:**

> We have a debug version of our client which can be provided to you, so we can get a log file and investigate. Giving you the upload/download screen won't help if you have hundreds of files which are syncing at the same time.

Regarding the external hard drive issues, I can see our support team have answered you already but instead of reading what they explained, you are busy publishing the same comments all around the net...

It's an ironic you find us unreliable, but you continue to use your lifetime account so to end this pain, would you like to issue you a full refund, no matter the fact you've been using your account 5 months already, at almost full capacity.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vince C. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2021

**What do you like best about pCloud?**

Pcloud is very simple to use. It has an excellent UX that is clear and simple. The system generates links for sharing but it also generates short links. You can also set passwords and blocks on links.

**What do you dislike about pCloud?**

Sharing upload links can be a bit confusing to the receiver. They get the link and think they have to create an account when they don't.

**What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

File sharing and client collateral uploads. Many of our customers send us videos but they are too large to email. This system is less confusing than Google Drive. It centralizes everything for use instead of trying to figure out work arounds.
