I really appreciate the Paytm Business app for making the payment process way less of a headache. The sound box is a real MVP because I don't have to stop what I'm doing to check my phone for confirmation when the store is busy; just hearing the voice alert lets me keep moving. The all-in-one QR code is a game changer, as it eliminated the clutter of having multiple QR codes at my counter, and it can handle payments from UPI, wallets, and cards all in one. It's faster for customers and helps make my shop look more professional and organized. The daily settlement reports in the app are also surprisingly helpful, letting me know exactly how much I earned without doing manual math. The setup process was a breeze, with an instantly generated digital QR code that allowed me to start taking payments the same day. These features really smooth out the workflow for our small team during busy hours, acting like an extra staff member and making everything more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Even though the app is great for day-to-day, there are definitely a few things that get on my nerves. The "Where's my money?" stress the biggest issue for me is the settlement timing. Most days it's fine but on bank holidays or during random technical glitches, the money just sits there in limbo. When you're a small business and you have suppliers waiting to be paid, that 24-hour delay feels like an eternity. I wish they had a more reliable instant settlement button that actually worked every single time without extra high fees. The support loop is another issue; if something actually goes wrong, like a customer being double charged or the sound box acting up, getting a human to help is a nightmare. You usually end up stuck talking to an automated bot that just repeats the same three steps. By the time you get through to a real person, you've already lost half your morning.
