PayStubNest is an online pay stub generator for US small businesses, self-employed people, independent contractors and bookkeepers who need accurate pay stubs for their payroll records without buying full payroll software. Enter the pay details, hourly or salary, with overtime, bonuses and other earnings on their own lines. PayStubNest calculates federal income tax, state income tax, Social Security and Medicare withholding from the published withholding tables for all 50 states and the District of Columbia (tax years 2025 and 2026). Year-to-date totals are carried forward from one pay stub to the next, so a whole series can be generated at once with consistent figures. Choose one of 18 templates or design your own, add your company logo, and download a clean, print-ready PDF. Contractor (1099) payment statements, a direct deposit advice and automatic pay schedules (Payroll plan) are also available. Pricing is transparent: every pay stub can be previewed for free, a download costs $1, credits never expire, and unlimited plans cost $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year. Bookkeepers can manage many client businesses from one account with no per-client fee. PayStubNest is a payroll record-keeping tool for pay that was actually issued or received. It is operated by PepDigital Tech Inc. in Anaheim Hills, California.
