The social feed aspect and the fact that almost everyone I know uses it makes splitting bills, paying rent, and managing group expenses frictionless. It is the definitive P2P standard. **What do you dislike about Venmo?** The main downside is the lack of robust fraud and error protection compared to a bank, and the 3% fee for sending money via a credit card. Also, the public social feed can be an annoyance, and the customer support options for account disputes are often difficult and slow to access. **What problems is Venmo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Venmo fundamentally solves the problem of debt management among friends and informal group payments without the hassle of cash or bank transfers. Benefit: I benefit from instant payment finality and elimination of IOUs, which makes personal and small-group finance simple. It's very easy, and most people have Venmo. I definitely value the feature that allows me to connect with friends who also use the app, which is important because the friends are saved, and I don't have to remember or download their Venmo code each time we exchange. Typically, I'm using it with people multiple times. **What do you dislike about Venmo?** Sometimes it's confusing with the goods and services because, typically, it's a personal exchange, so I'm shortchanged often. The other thing is the transaction cost. Also, sometimes it takes a little longer for the transfer to my bank account to actually clear. **What problems is Venmo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Venmo helps when people don't have cash, allowing them to support fundraising and exchange money between friends. ### 3.
