Their support team keeps giving generic, copy-paste responses saying that their 'security team detecteda violation,' yet they refuse to disclose what that violation is. This raises serious concerns about trust and reliability. If a financial service can arbitrarily freeze funds, refuse to provide reasons, and ignore customer concerns, how can anyone trust them? It provided an alternative to traditional banking and helped freelancers and businesses manage cross-border transactions. The only decent thing about Payoneer is their interface—it’s clean and easy to navigate. But what’s the point of a nice-looking platform when the backend is absolute garbage? They canceled an incoming transaction without even reviewing the invoice, yet they can’t provide proof that the funds were refunded. I asked them to send the money back to my client, and they refuse to show any evidence that the refund was processed. Now, over $65,000 is stuck in limbo after just four days of use. Meanwhile, I see countless other people complaining that Payoneer stole their funds too. They claim refunds take "7 to 10 business days" for a process that should take ONE day max with any normal bank. But after the waiting period, they just send a nonsense letter saying they’re still holding onto the money—or come up with some wild excuse. I’ve used various banks and payment processors, but Payoneer is by far the most incompetent. They block accounts out of nowhere for "reviews," then demand endless documents. You send them what they ask for, and they come back with even more pointless requests. For example, they asked for: A screenshot from my client’s interface on the date they made the transfer—who even asks for that? Invoices and contracts, which I provided, and they still declined the transaction. All this after already approving my KYC. And to make it worse, they keep sending the same compliance questionnaire over and over, even after it’s been completed and successfully reviewed. This isn’t a payment processor—it’s a money trap. I've been using Payoneer since 2020 for both personal and business and I love how convenient it is. Is easy to receive payments and I've never had issues withdrawing my money. One time they were reviewing a deposit i received and requested I send an invoice to show where it was coming from, i sent it in the morning and 2 hours laters it was reviewed and approved. I think it has a good UI and it is not difficult to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Payoneer? They never approved me. I was never notified of the reason I could not be offered service by them, although my credit score is perfect and never had any issue with a financial service provider. They never told me any reason and never suggested a way to fix it if the issue was something that I made. I do understand that you need to be careful of who your customers are, but I was just using it to be paid by the company I work for. I like the streamlined design on both the browser app as well as on mobile. Everything is clearly laid out, and there is no clutter.
