Paylocity offers a litany of features that work in alignment with our organization's needs. They've also gone far and beyond to accommodate our unique setup since 2014 and we cannot be more thankful. Honestly, there is not much to dislike with Paylocity's platform. Like any vendor, hiccups occur but they're so infrequent, it's hard to pinpoint one or another. In a Utopian world, perhaps we'd expect no downtime, timely payroll package deliveries (not even Paylocity's issue here, to be frank) and more legal support (I know this is not part of the service offering). I like Paylocity's ease of use and the ability to connect with help desk people who guide me through issues. I also enjoy the feature that allows updates to be pushed out to employees and notifies them via email about new posts. The onboarding team was amazing and made the detailed setup process easier. Some of the changes that have been implemented seem to be driven by law changes in other states. For example, timecards were recently updated to show 4 decimal places. I understand this is required in a few other states, but for us it has made tracking time a bit more cumbersome, since rounding to the nearest two decimals is no longer an option. The platform’s layout is pretty intuitive, and the AI assistant makes it even easier to find what I need. It also runs much more smoothly than our previous payroll platform. I have to rely on Paylocity to make some changes in the system which I would like to do myself. And how it logs me out insconsitently, I may be working in a screen and it kicks me out.
