"All-in-One HR Platform That Streamlines the Employee Lifecycle"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Paylocity?

I love that I can do all things HR and manage the entire employee life cycle in one platform. I love the suggested questions and optional answers for the surveys and I love that new hires can start their onboarding from text and email. I love that it condenses my payroll conversations where we can focus on less to-do's prior to running payroll. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paylocity?

The only hiccup with Paylocity is that some tasks require far too many clicks. Often I'lll think that a task is complete only to find out that I have more clicks to complete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Friendly, Helpful Customer Service with Fast Response Times"
4/5
What do you like best about Paylocity?

The customer service is friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paylocity?

Some of the features, reports, etc. can be difficult to find unless you know exactly what you are looking for. In addition, some features in the recruiting portal could be improved. For example, having a way for hiring managers to easily rank candidates after interviews would be helpful. There is the feedback forms, which we do utilize, however, you have to manually select that they been sent each time you schedule an interview. In addition, the tax setup process can be a little confusing. I know there are many helpful articles Paylocity provides for what you are looking for but they are, at times, difficult to understand step-by-step. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Platform That Has Streamlined Our Entire Hiring Process"
5/5
What do you like best about Paylocity?

The platform is comprehensive and user-friendly, but what has stood out most is the exceptional support throughout implementation. The Paylocity team has been responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure the system works for our specific needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paylocity?

Some areas of the system are not as intuitive as they could be, particularly when navigating configuration and setup options. It can sometimes take a little digging to find where a specific setting lives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Paylocity with Helpful Support and Resources"
5/5
What do you like best about Paylocity?

I like how user friendly paylocity is for my employees, and the fact that it is easy for me to get help from reps or the peak articles to change settings on my end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paylocity?

The one thing i wish Paylocity did a little better was being a bit more transparent on what things are covered in what packages (EX. The new nursing training videos only tell you that its an add on when you go INTO the video to assign the training) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smooth ADP Transition, Intuitive Platform, and Responsive Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Paylocity?

The transition from ADP to Paylocity was remarkably smooth and well-managed. One of Paylocity’s greatest strengths was its responsive customer support—whenever an issue arose, I could easily reach a live representative by phone for immediate, effective resolution.

The platform itself is highly intuitive and user-friendly. Beyond its cost-effective pricing structure, Paylocity provided robust integration capabilities that competitors simply couldn't match, allowing for a far more connected tech stack.

Although my hands-on experience took place over four years ago—prior to the widespread adoption of modern enterprise AI—the core platform was exceptional. Given their track record of innovation, I anticipate their current AI-driven features deliver substantial efficiency gains for payroll and HR operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paylocity?

My only minor critique involves account management continuity post-onboarding. Although we were assigned a dedicated account representative, support calls were consistently routed to available general representatives instead. Across roughly five support interactions, I rarely—if ever—spoke directly with our primary contact. While the support team remained capable and efficient, the lack of direct contact with our assigned manager was a notable departure from the expected dedicated support model. "User-Friendly Payroll with Easy Edits and Clear, Exportable Reports"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Paylocity?

Paylocity is laid out logically and is user friendly. I find running a payroll the best feature. It allows me freedom to review and edit time punches, PTO and other customizations. The payroll reports are simple to export and clearly read. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paylocity?

I found it challenging trying to make a correction after the time cards had been approved. However, I was able to get an agent on the phone to walk me through unlocking the individual needing correction. It was a little confusing, because it did not unlock the entire list of employees. You can only unlock one category ie full time employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Payroll and Benefits, Reporting Needs Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Paylocity?

I really like the benefits administration part of Paylocity because it's very easy to use and very helpful for our employees. Payroll is also a very straightforward process with Paylocity; it's easy to use, easy to make edits, and I like the partial pay calculations that happen for us, so we don't have to manually calculate. I also appreciate how it allows us to use the HR platform for document acknowledgments and other compliance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paylocity?

The reporting is a little lacking. It's frustrating not to be able to report on everything that is in the system and not be able to link tables. I think they could also make some changes to the administrative side and make some things a little easier with events tracking and other compliance issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient HR Tool with Seamless Integration and Customization"
4/5
What do you like best about Paylocity?

I like the customization options that Paylocity offers, and it is very user-friendly. For example, when I built a review in Paylocity, I was able to select the start time and who it was going to be sent to. I think the integration of different systems works especially well with Paylocity. We recently integrated Checker to run background checks seamlessly from Paylocity, which helps create seamless processes with employees. As an HR administrator, I enjoy having seamless experiences and being able to find all the information in one single place, which saves me time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paylocity?

The training module is something that looks a little bit outdated, and it's not very entertaining or dynamic. From the feedback I've received from some employees, that module specifically could be improved and make a better experience for everybody. Also, when I was creating a review in Paylocity, I noticed that there were some updates I wasn't aware of, so having some information box about the updates would make it a lot easier to understand. "Centralized, All-in-One HR & Payroll That Delivers Real Value"
5/5
What do you like best about Paylocity?

One of the biggest benefits is having a centralized system for payroll and HR information that employees can access without needing HR to manually provide records or routine updates Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paylocity?

My biggest frustrations with Paylocity are the learning curve for new users, the complexity of initial setup, and the lack of transparent pricing. Because it is a feature-rich platform, navigating some functions can be challenging without training. However, its all-in-one HR and payroll capabilities still provide significant value. "Continue to Address updating modules for easier use for tech dummies"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Paylocity?

The pricing is fair for what we get. I like that there are multiple modules I can use and connect the information that I need. Also, the support teams who answer the phones are helpful even if they don't know the answers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paylocity?

Some of the modules are difficult to use and are not very intuitive. I they are getting better with updates. The benefits module is difficult with too many separate things that need to be done to complete an enrollment. The thought that I have to fill out a spreadsheet, submit it which never works, then they don't get the information correct and I have triple check everything, then have to go to another place to actually have it integrate with benefits it more work than passing out papers sometimes. The performance module needs updating for HR use. The actual performance module needs to be updated. Recruiting - is okay. HR and Payroll is getting better with the upgrades they are making. I would change platforms but it is too much work at this point. The support team is very helpful but the training doesn't seem consistent. I'm sure it takes years to learn a system like this. They are always patience and very nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
