Employees are able to access information important to them with the click of a button - paystubs, tax forms, time off balances and requests. Employees can update their personal information (address, phone numbers, direct deposits) taking a lot of work out of the administrators hands. The platform is easy to use and intuitive. **What do you dislike about Paylocity?** Some updates that Paylocity rolls out aren't ideal and I wish they would think through the impact on the end user before making those changes. Also, the time off tracking can be a bit confusing but we have been told that there is an update coming in the next few months which will improve that experience. Lastly, it would be incredibly helpful to employees if they were able to make benefit elections from the app or update their personal information from the app. **What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?** Paylocity helps us track time, process payroll, ensure new hires complete paperwork. It is nice to have most things in one area. It is super helpful for payroll administration and organizing employee records and onboarding. I find it pretty intuitive to use with a straightforward help center. Paylocity also plays well with third-party vendors, which is great because some HRIS tools don't integrate smoothly with other vendors. Additionally, it's easy to work with Bswift, which enhances the overall experience. I think it's really great, especially for smaller companies. **What do you dislike about Paylocity?** The workflows are a huge pain point for me. Some workflow features aren't accessible unless managers have access to pay. We currently don't have all managers in the company with access to pay, so that causes a lot of manual processes. Everything is pretty simple, and there's not too much going on in the system. It's straightforward and easy for day-to-day use. Also, the recruitment platform setup was generally pretty easy. I just went through each setting and set everything up the way we like, and it's really easy to still develop it over time. The integrations with recruiting platforms and sourcing tools like Indeed and LinkedIn work really well, pushing our jobs out to those boards without manual effort. **What do you dislike about Paylocity?** I think there's a lot of customizable features that would be helpful for us as a company. Like, certain offer letter features would be nice to edit in terms of formatting and candidate experience. The security access can be a little clunky on certain things. For example, the I-9 verification form, the employer portion, where we wanted only the direct supervisor to access the form, but with the security permissions, we're not able to do that. So, as of now, all supervisors have access, which isn't ideal. Customer service and problem resolution aren't the greatest either. I wish there was someone more willing to understand our issues and find solutions rather than saying, 'this is how it works, and you have to deal with it.' **What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Paylocity for tracking applicants, reviewing applications, and sending offer letters, handling everything from start to finish when hiring a new position, including administering onboarding paperwork. ### 8. You can probably watch a couple of videos and then get it because it's very intuitive. The steps are clear by clicking the buttons, and it guides you to where you need to go. Paylocity helps organize the HR side of the company and allows my managers to get better control and processes for their departments. It's well-designed for a small company, and it's great for managing PTO, making it clear for employees without misunderstandings. I also appreciate how it handles the rewards program, offering e-gift cards, which is more friendly for the team. The insights on retention programs and app usage are also valuable. **What do you dislike about Paylocity?** I feel maybe when you guys help us with the employee handbook, it takes three to four weeks. I understand there's a lot of work in there, but I also believe you have already something pre-done. Changes on the handbook could be done more friendlier, more faster. Also, a company called Mineral from UnitedHealth updates handbooks by state, and it would be amazing if Paylocity could do that too. When setting up, it was initially amazing with the sales person guiding us, but I feel like after purchasing, it switched to just providing videos. Sometimes I needed help on setting up simple things like my organization chart, and I was just sent videos that didn't address my issues. It would've been nice to get one-on-one help, even if just for fifteen minutes. **What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?** Paylocity helps organize the HR side of the company, making PTO clear for all employees, eliminating misunderstandings. If you have various modules, you should be able to access them all from the employee profile. Example: I shouldn't have to leave HR & Payroll to view the employee's timecard in Time & Labor. It should link from the employee profile in HR & Payroll to their timecard to make reviews more seamless. Customer support is also not proactive when issues arise. It always takes us reaching out to our account manager to learn that issues we are experiencing are known and being experienced across all Paylocity users. From an HR and recruiting standpoint, everything lives in one place, which makes it easy to manage candidates, onboarding, payroll, and employee data without jumping between systems. It streamlines workflows and saves a lot of time. On the employee side, it's really convenient. I can easily request time off, update direct deposit or tax information right at my fingertips, and it cuts down on back and forth with HR. The initial setup was extremely easy, with 'how-to's' and tutorials that were very easy to read, understand, and follow. I really like the service, ease of use, and inclusiveness that Paylocity provides both as an employee and an administrator. **What do you dislike about Paylocity?** I haven't run into any real issues other than not being able to sponsor job postings through Paylocity for different job boards like Indeed. Sponsoring jobs is extremely important in some cases when positions need to be filled quickly. More control over spend and duration would be helpful to have finer control over sponsorship budgets such as setting daily caps, pausing or resuming boosts easily or adjusting spend mid-campaign without having to restart a posting. Their new Run Payroll screen has streamlined their previous offering and made it much smoother. Also they recently added a feature to send multiple work flows in one so that I can now send multiple documents for signatures instead of having to send one at a time. I use Paylocity every working day. The customer Support has always been quick to respond and help with whatever needs we have. Recently we switched to digital onboarding and after submitting our documents all we had to do was test it out and say what needed changing and they quickly changed it. **What do you dislike about Paylocity?** Some areas could use improvement. The Time off History section can be confusing and hard to understand. There are a few other sections that could also be more streamlined such as the security groups and roles. **What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?** It makes it easy to keep track of employees and get them paid. You have to delete out the task from onboarding and then reassign it if the employee completes something wrong, which takes a little bit longer. It is beyond important for me to have a relationship with a provider of a system that I am working in daily, who works with my level of understanding of the system, who provides good tools for training, and is very responsive. **What do you dislike about Paylocity?** I have a company set account with 4 companies and when I added the 3rd and 4th company, it wasn't as easy as COPY and PASTE from the prior companies. What I essentially wanted to have happen was mirror the prior companies set-up, but with a new Company name, bank account, and EIN. It was not a seamless process and we still run into issues. However, PL is very helpful in fixing the issues. **What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?** Running a one stop HRIS system, where they are not also trying to sell me additional services that don't apply. They are the subject matter expert for HRIS, not a 401k account. Prior carriers tried to sell me other services.
