Payhawk supports dedicated IBANs, local payment rails such as SEPA, ACH and Faster Payments, and highly competitive FX rates. A key differentiator of Payhawk is its deep accounting and ERP integrations. The platform is built with strong accounting logic, enabling seamless syncing with systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Exact, Xero, Sage, Pennylane and QuickBooks. This allows finance teams to automate reconciliation, maintain accurate financial records, and reduce manual data entry. ## Payhawk Reviews
 ### 1. Fast, Intuitive, and Fully Automated: The Ultimate Tool for Scalable Finance

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keoma G. | Eigenaar Financieel Secuur , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

Having used Payhawk, it is clear that this platform is designed for companies that want to stay ahead of the curve. It strikes a rare balance between deep functionality and a user-friendly interface. We use the software intensively on a daily basis, and it has become an indispensable part of our workflow.

Smooth Implementation & Support
One of the biggest hurdles with new financial software is the setup, but Payhawk makes this surprisingly simple.

Easy Onboarding: The implementation phase was remarkably easy.

Expert Guidance: We were backed by excellent support throughout the process, ensuring that the system was tailored to our needs from day one.

User Experience & Performance
The software feels truly future-proof. The interface is modern, intuitive, and—most importantly—fast.

Seamless Navigation: You can switch between different views and entities almost instantly. Whether moving from card management to invoice processing, the transitions are smooth, keeping your momentum high.

Low Barrier to Entry: Because the tool is so easy to use, employee adoption has been high across the company.

Automation & Control
For a finance team, the "magic" is in the automation.

Top-Tier Accounting Integration: The integration with our accounting software is outstanding. It eliminates manual labor entirely, allowing for a "hands-off" synchronization that saves us hours of data entry.

Robust Approval Flows: The customizable workflows ensure every cent spent is authorized without creating bottlenecks.

Budget Monitoring: Real-time monitoring allows us to stay on top of departmental spending effortlessly.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

Even the best software requires a helping hand occasionally, and this is where Payhawk truly shines.

Outstanding Support: The speed of their support team is exceptional. Responses are quick and professional, which is vital for financial operations.

Proactive Development: While there is room for improvement in areas like more granular customized exports and supplier change warnings (to further enhance security and data handling), the Payhawk team is remarkably agile. They are constantly shipping updates, and given their track record, these features will likely be optimized in the near future.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payhawk solves the problem of financial fragmentation and manual admin. By consolidating cards, expenses, and invoices into one fast, integrated platform, it transforms our finance department from a 'reactive' team doing data entry into a 'proactive' team focused on strategy and growth.

**Official Response from Raquel Orejas:**

> Wow, Keoma, thank you for such a thoughtful and detailed review, this really made our day! 😊

It's wonderful to hear that Payhawk has become such a core part of your daily workflow, and that the onboarding, automation, and accounting integration have all been hitting the mark. "Reactive to proactive" is exactly the transformation we aim for, and it's great to see it playing out in practice.

Your feedback on granular exports and supplier change warnings is well noted, we're always working to push the platform further, and input like yours helps us prioritise what matters most.

Thanks again for taking the time to share this. It means a lot to the whole team!

 ### 2. Effortless Expense Management with Flexible Control

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve I. | Head of Finance & Administration, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I find Payhawk easy to use for both end users and admins. I appreciate the simplicity in controlling, checking, and making changes. It only takes a few clicks to block cards, order new ones, create new users, and establish workflows or approval processes. The ability to create expense categories and set or change limits is also very useful, allowing for personalization based on our needs. The initial setup was quite easy and straightforward too.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

The different currency management is not ideal as the exchange rate used is not the best one and if we want to have a multi-currency card we need to add several cards.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Payhawk for expense management, which helps track monthly expenses and ensure users upload evidence. It's easy for users and admins to handle tasks like blocking cards and creating workflows, and it imports transactions into our ERP system.

 ### 3. Quick Support, Efficient AI Agent, and Easy Accounting Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

The support is very quick if you have any issues, coupled with a very efficient AI agent. The system seems to be updated regularly with new features added.

It also integrated to accounting systems easily.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

The system lacks functionality features in the booking platform. You can't choose your own seats for flights, trains can't be booked in the platform and the same for car rentals. This is something that is being worked on though I have been told.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Approvals flows, company cards

**Official Response from Raquel Orejas:**

> Hi there!

Thank you for your positive feedback! We are thrilled to hear that you appreciate our quick support, and our AI agents :)

We are constantly updating our system to provide you with the best experience possible.

We understand your concerns about the lack of functionality features in the booking platform. Rest assured, we are actively working on improving this aspect to enhance your overall experience. Your feedback is valuable to us as we strive to meet your needs.

If you have any further suggestions or encounter any issues, please feel free to reach out. We are here to assist you and ensure your satisfaction.

Thank you for choosing Payhawk!

 ### 4. Streamlined Accounting with Reactive Support, But Needs Bug Fixes

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I like that Payhawk is light and easy to implement. It connects natively into our accounting with Exact Online, which is a huge time-saver. The support team is very reactive, which I really appreciate. The cashback on card payments is another great feature.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

So, there's a couple of glitches or bugs often in Payhawk. The first one is what I have pretty often is that I move expenses from one stage to another, like from the review step to the payment step, and they sometimes stay stuck before payment. Even after you validate the payment, they still stay for a while in the validate stage, which is super confusing. The second problem is with my validation via the app, which doesn't work properly. We have to sign payments with the Payhawk app on our phones, but it happens super often that I don't get the ping on the app. Or I might get the ping on my home screen, but when I open the app, there's nothing to approve, and I have to wait for the timer of two minutes to run out. This is quite annoying. I had it on iPhone 12, iPhone 16, multiple updates, so it seems to be a recurring issue.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payhawk integrates with our accounting software, saving us 10-20 hours monthly on manual tasks. It supports multi-currency payments, reducing exchange fees, and offers cashback, lowering costs. It ensures a smooth expense management process with proper receipts and approvals.

 ### 5. Effortless Expense Management, Easy to Use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Izabela S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I use Payhawk daily for work, and it helps me process my coworkers' expenses faster and easier as they can enter the values themselves. The software is user-friendly and very easy to use, both from an employee and employer perspective. Everyone can use it without troubles or difficulties, and I learned how to use it very quickly. The initial setup is also very easy; you just need to log in and orient yourself with the necessary buttons, especially when it becomes a daily app.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

It is super small thing but not many language I can use as a setup

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payhawk speeds up processing coworkers' expenses, making my job easier. It's a user-friendly app that everyone can use without trouble.

**Official Response from Raquel Orejas:**

> Hi Izabela, thank you so much for your kind review and for using Payhawk every day!

We are glad to hear the platform makes expense management easier for you and your team, and that the setup was smooth from the start.

On the languages, great news! Payhawk is already available in several languages, English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Bulgarian, Portuguese, and Finnish, and you can change your language preference both from the mobile app and the web platform. You can find out how here: https://payhawk.com/help/changing-your-language-preference

Hope this makes your Payhawk experience even better!

 ### 6. Clear, Efficient Expense Management That Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

A clear and efficient way for our employees to pay for business expenses, uploading receipts instantaneously and making accurate expense category allocations. It saves time for both the employee and the finance department. Good customer service

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

the only downside we have experienced is there have been some updates to PayHawk which has changed the view we see. However, when we have highlighted this through the customer service, these issues have been resolved quickly and efficiently

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, our company had only a few credit cards, and all receipts were processed manually. With Payhawk, we have much better control over issuing cards to employees, so we now have more cards while also keeping a closer eye on expenses. In addition, after an initial adjustment period, all employees upload expenses in real time, which means no more paper receipts!

**Official Response from Raquel Orejas:**

> Thank you for highlighting the quick and efficient resolution of issues by our customer service team. We strive to provide excellent support for our users.

 ### 7. User-Friendly and Adaptable for Small Businesses

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aleksandar T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I like how Payhawk makes it easy for managers to use with just 2 clicks on the app, so they don't have to learn a new platform. It's a user-friendly and cheap way to get approvals for different entities in one place. The initial setup was easy, especially at the start when we were mainly uploading and paying invoices before delving into more complex accounting integrations.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

The platform is super template-y. There are real-life cases which don't have a solution - like 2 invoices per single payment, proforma invoices, withdrawals from the Payhawk account, transfers between Payhawk accounts, and FX that are not handled well. The lack of these things makes Payhawk difficult to use as the only or main service.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Payhawk provides a user-friendly way to gather approvals and process payments.

**Official Response from Raquel Orejas:**

> We're happy to hear that Payhawk has been helpful for your business in gathering approvals and processing payments. We understand your feedback about the platform's limitations and will strive to address these issues to provide a more comprehensive solution for your needs.

 ### 8. Great Spend Hub, but Clunky Performance and Weak AI Invoice Capture

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Semiconductors | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

AI integrations are good, can be better however. one stop shop for spend is the reason i procured it

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

system can be clunky and slow. AI feature when picking up invoice detail is poor. If i compare to Claude (top in the market) it is not great, if MCP plug in was allowed i would have no doubt claude would increase accuarcy 10 fold

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

one stop shop for spend were has a nice UI for non finance members

 ### 9. Efficient Expense Management Across Entities

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassie T.

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I like that Payhawk runs across entities and countries, providing a one-stop shop for all my expenses. I enjoy the service, especially the AI agents for quick questions and the real person support for deep dives and onboarding. It's great to have a clear overview of all my costs without having to log into six different platforms. The initial setup from Payhawk's side was easy, which was a relief.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

On the mobile app, I have to switch between my 6 entities all the time. I would prefer, similar to the web portal, easier access to a button to switch between entities or just one overview in the dashboard where I can see all my entities in the app. Also, although the setup from Payhawk's side was easy, the KYC process took a long time.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payhawk manages our expenses across multiple countries, helping with administrative problems by automating manual expense processing. It also provides a clear, unified overview of costs, eliminating the need to log into different platforms.

 ### 10. Modern Design, Needs Speed Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I like Payhawk's layout because it's quite modern and fresh. I also find it easy to locate everything I need.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

The app lags a lot. When I am submitting my own expense, it sometimes takes up to a minute or even more to open up the expense, and then when I want to click on a specific line, it also takes quite some time to open it up.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Payhawk to approve employee expenses. It helps organize expenses and makes approving easier.

**Official Response from Raquel Orejas:**

> Hi there!

We appreciate your positive feedback on the modern layout and ease of use. We acknowledge the issue with the app's speed and are committed to resolving it to ensure a more efficient experience for you.

Thanks for trusting Payhawk.

 ### 11. Best option to centraliza expenses

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Álvaro M. | AP & Treasury Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

The user-friendly dashboard, very visual and easy to use; the integrations with different apps; and the quick reponse of every action (transfers, reimbursements, etc.)

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

Sometimes the app freezes and lose information when you're entering data to send a payment; and the connection with the mobile app sometimes it's not the best

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bring together supplier payments and employee expenses in the same application, which is solved in an excellent way by having an interface focused on ease in order to provide as much information as possible

 ### 12. Intuitive and User-Friendly, But Mobile App Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kamelia Ivova P. | Demand Gen Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I use Payhawk for accounting and appreciate how easy it is to use with its intuitive interface. The AI assistant is a nice feature because I don't have to watch tutorials to use it. The initial setup was also pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

Not much, the only problem is that the mobile app does not offer the same features and is buggy. I can't switch from one to another cost center easily.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Payhawk for submitting invoices and requesting POs easily. The intuitive interface and AI assistant mean I don't need tutorials, which is helpful.

**Official Response from Raquel Orejas:**

> We're glad to hear that you find Payhawk intuitive and user-friendly for your accounting needs. We appreciate your feedback about the mobile app and will work to improve its features and functionality.

 ### 13. Customizable, Time-Saving, but Needs Better ERP Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary P. | Financial Controller, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I like Payhawk's completely customizable workflows and easy reference for accounts payable items. The mobile app and Slack integration with AI assistance are standout features that save time and simplify all processes with complete digitization and automation.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

Integration to our ERP had to be built and was not native - clunky

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Payhawk for internal controls, efficiency in workflows, and credit card management. It digitizes and automates processes, saving time and simplifying everything for us.

**Official Response from Raquel Orejas:**

> We're glad to hear that you are enjoying the customizable workflows, easy reference for accounts payable items, and the time-saving features of our mobile app and Slack integration with AI assistance. We understand the importance of seamless ERP integrations and are continuously working to improve in this area. Thank you for your feedback!

 ### 14. Intuitive UI Simplifies Expense Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I find Payhawk quite intuitive, and it has a nice UI. Overall, it's just pretty good.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

I think I once added a second attachment, and it didn't really wasn't seeable. So that would be nice. Or seeing total sum of owed to your organization. So you can see that you'll still get back about, for example, €400.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payhawk helps me keep expenses organized.

**Official Response from Raquel Orejas:**

> Hi Tim! Thank you for your valuable feedback! We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts on Payhawk.

Regarding your points:

* Second attachment visibility: Payhawk does support uploading multiple files to your expenses through the web portal, mobile app, and Mailbox. It's recommended to use PDF for documents and PNG for images for best compatibility across all channels. If you experienced an issue where a second attachment wasn't visible, it might be related to how the expense was split or a display anomaly.
* Total sum owed to your organization: For Group Administrators, the Group dashboard provides a clear overview of expenses. The "Expenses due" tab specifically displays the total amount of reviewed unpaid bills and reimbursable expenses that are due before the current date. This functionality allows you to see the sum of money owed to your organization, such as outstanding reimbursements.

We hope this clarifies the functionalities available within Payhawk.

 ### 15. Easy to use and with hassle-free export

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lluïsa . | Responsable de Contabilidad, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

It is easy to use and allows you to export the work to other programs without complications.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

The configuration of the integration with our ERP was slower than expected.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Control of the tickets, allowances, and mileage of the employees.

**Official Response from Raquel Orejas:**

> We appreciate your positive feedback about the ease of use and export functionality of Payhawk. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the slower configuration of the ERP integration. Your input helps us to improve our services and we are committed to enhancing the integration process for our customers.

 ### 16. Strong Pricing & ROI, but Onboarding Could Be Smoother

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivan G. | Chief Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

Most helpful about Payhawk is Pricing/ ROI

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

Maybe the onboarding doesn't go so smooth as I would like

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Each of our employees can pay some expenses everywhere and anytime. This save us time and relatively money

**Official Response from Raquel Orejas:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience. We're pleased that you find our pricing and ROI beneficial. We acknowledge your feedback about the onboarding process and will work to make it smoother for our users.

 ### 17. Intuitive and Versatile, with Potential for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaime R.

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I deeply appreciate the intuitiveness of Payhawk, which greatly facilitates the user experience. This aspect not only improves efficiency in my daily work but also turns complex tasks into more manageable processes. I especially value the ability to manage employee onboarding and add expense types, as well as perform exports, all effectively within the system. These elements are crucial for my responsibilities in support and data management, and having a system that simplifies these functions is invaluable. Additionally, the ease of use is a key reason for our switch to Payhawk from an in-house product.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

Automatic exports and filters could be improved. I would like to be able to schedule exports automatically, which would greatly facilitate my workflow. Additionally, the current filters are somewhat limited, as they do not allow adding more than one value within the same filter. This functionality would be very useful for handling more complex and specific data sets.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payhawk is intuitive and facilitates user support and data management, such as employee onboarding and expense types.

 ### 18. Excellent Support and User Experience with Continuous Improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ngoc Son N. | Finance Systems Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

The support team is always very responsive and proactive in helping resolve any issues that arise. The user experience is consistently excellent, and the platform is well-prepared to continuously develop and enhance its quality.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

Some features still lack consistency and require extra time to manage across different entities. For example, when I create a report under one entity and want to use it for the others, I have to recreate the same report for each entity instead of being able to copy it or have it automatically applied across all entities.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I experienced an issue with the expense integration between Payhawk and NetSuite. I collaborated with the Payhawk team to address the problem from both sides, ensuring that it is fully resolved and preventing similar errors in the future.

 ### 19. Efficient Workflow Automation with Payhawk

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karamveer S.

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I love how Payhawk seamlessly integrates with Netsuite, our accounting software, which automates the posting of invoices, expenses, and the matching of payments. The platform’s capability to automate workflows for invoice and staff expense approvals drastically enhances efficiency compared to our previous manual processes. I find the customizable workflows particularly beneficial as they offer the necessary flexibility to adapt to our business’s global and flat structure, accommodating the extensive crossover among different staff members and departments. The optical character recognition feature is a significant time-saver, efficiently processing invoice or receipt information without manual entry. These features together make Payhawk extremely valuable by simplifying and accelerating our financial operations.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

I find it challenging that Payhawk only allows viewing expenses and invoices in the paid and base currencies, limiting my ability to view them in different currencies as per my choice. It would be more practical for managing global finances if this feature was more flexible. Additionally, creating expense reports that could be submitted to a single approver would streamline approvals, instead of requiring approvers to evaluate single line items. This process complicates expense management when dealing with a large volume of expenses. It's worth noting, though, that Payhawk continuously updates to improve the platform, and part of this issue is being worked on. Moreover, the initial setup was somewhat hindered by the time-consuming credit checks, especially when dealing with the loading of overseas entities.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Payhawk to automate invoice posting and approve workflows, enhancing efficiency compared to manual processes. The customizable workflows and OCR save time and provide flexibility for our global team, while integration with Netsuite streamlines expenses and payments.

 ### 20. Simplifies Expense Management for Our Fleet

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jurgita G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I appreciate Payhawk as the easiest way to pay company expenses related to trips. I like that our drivers don't have to use cashes anymore. We can manage all functions so drivers cannot use it for their own needs.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

Our drivers always have problems with connection and some of them do not understand how to use it.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payhawk makes it easy to pay company expenses related to trips, so our drivers don't need to use cash. We can also manage all functions to ensure drivers use it appropriately.

**Official Response from Raquel Orejas:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Payhawk. We're committed to providing a seamless expense management solution for your fleet. We apologize for the connectivity and usability issues some of your drivers have experienced, and we're actively addressing these concerns.

 ### 21. Handy for expenses while traveling, downside with support

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I greatly appreciate the user-friendliness of Payhawk. It's nice that we no longer have loose receipts or processing backlogs, which ensures an up-to-date expense overview of our employees. Although we are still relatively early in our use, I find the export function very promising and it is appreciated by us during the initial setup phase. I found the initial installation of Payhawk very simple and seamless. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the experience, which is why I give Payhawk a recommendation score of 8 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

So far, we have experienced a high turnover of our success managers, which means communication does not always go smoothly. This could perhaps be improved.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payhawk solves the problem of loose receipts and backlogs, and provides us with an up-to-date overview of employee expenses.

 ### 22. Had a serious issue with accessing the platform - amazing response from Support Team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin B. | Finance Director - Australia, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

Payhawk is a very intuitive system to use.
Easy to process and approve expenses / invoices inline with company DOA and integrates seamlessly with NetSuite.

I had some bug issues with the platform, however the support team were really responsive, and as soon as the issue was understood it was escalated, the engineering team arranged a call to better understand the issue and try to resolve. It wasn't possible to fix during the call but the next day the issue was fixed. The support service was outstanding.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

As we don't integrate with our bank - you have to manually mark invoices as paid.
Also Credit Cards are not yet available in my region - Australia.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed to add invoices and its AI features. Also aligned to a global DOA & COA is a great time saver.

 ### 23. Automation at Its Best for Payment Processing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dion D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I like how Payhawk is very much automated and does most of the work for me. Once I build the account associations, the system manages the rest, which saves me from having to manually allocate. With a little guidance, it was fairly easy to set up.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

We want to have other applications connect to Payhawk so just learning now but more info or demos on how to connect common applications would be helpful.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payhawk automates tracking spend and eliminates issues with physical cards, making vendor payments smoother by managing account associations and reducing manual allocation.

 ### 24. Quick and helpful support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lee-Anne L. | Head of Finance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

Support tickets are handled quickly and professionally

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

If invoices received from same suppliers should be coded the same as the previous month
Would also like to be able to download a statement

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speeding up AP process , with having budget managable in advance, with transaparency with teams.

 ### 25. Efficient Expense Management and Easy Reimbursements with Payhawk

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

Payhawk is efficient and easy to use, helping me to streamline the process of managing expenses and reimbursements. I appreciate the complementary mobile app too, which is great for submitting expenses on the go quickly.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

There is little to dislike about Payhawk - I have not found much fault with it.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to easily submit, track, and receive feedback on transactions from my team members.

**Official Response from Raquel Orejas:**

> Thank you for your positive review! We're glad to hear that you find Payhawk efficient and easy to use, and that the complementary mobile app is helpful for submitting expenses on the go. We appreciate your support!

 ### 26. Excellent Netsuite API Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laure P. | Finance Manager / FP&A, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

Definitely the direct direct integration with Netsuite

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

the User Experience is not intuitive and feels somewhat complex.
Once users submit a request, it does not appear in their feed until it is approvedn which makes it difficult for them to be sure the request has been successfully submitted
Significant latency

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralize all our expenses with an approval workflow

 ### 27. Very good experience with Payhawk but still some improvements needed

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Augustin L. | Directeur Administratif et Financier, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

The ease of payments is a real advantage, as well as the AI that allows scanning invoices received by email and added to the platform to automatically fill in the fields.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

Multi-currency management is quite archaic. Opening my USD account took more than a week and I can't transfer my euros to dollars directly from Payhawk. It would be nice to be able to pay bills in dollars directly from my euro account. This would also be advantageous for Payhawk, which would profit from the exchange rate.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automatic invoice management is very efficient thanks to email scanning and AI that fills in the fields. The bank cards work very well and it is pleasant to have all the information centralized, especially with the possibility for employees to take photos of receipts. The management of monthly subscriptions is also a plus.

 ### 28. So far it's been great and everything works!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

Super simple, easy to use. I love the feature where you just need to email your receipts and it will automatically match with your expense.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

With the volume of the expenses sometimes I can't be quick in submitting the receipts and it can be really frustrating when the card is potentially blocked.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing me to process my expenses in a much simpler and easier way. Previously we used to do this manually and it would take a really long time until these expenses would get processed.

 ### 29. Streamlined Expense Management and Efficient Synchronicity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe R.

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I appreciate Payhawk for its nice front-end platform and how well the card section works. It really helps that we can use the cards for all our monthly subscriptions, as it shows clear ownership to employees, allowing budget holders to fully understand the ongoing costs in their areas. The integration with NetSuite for direct syncing is a time-saver and ensures faster payments. Also, setting up Payhawk was pretty easy and works well.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

Topping up the credit funds takes 3 days, that should be faster.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payhawk saves us time by letting employees enter expenses directly and allows faster payments with direct sync to NetSuite.

 ### 30. Effortless Expense Management with Room for AI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eleanor B.

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I really appreciate how Payhawk simplifies the task of adding expenses. With the volume of items I frequently order, it is incredibly beneficial to manage these expenses easily and quickly. This feature significantly streamlines my workflow and makes handling large volumes of transactions more efficient. Additionally, Payhawk proved to be very user-friendly from the start, with an initial setup process that was extremely easy, contributing to a seamless integration into our work routine.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

I don't like the AI feature where it predicts what the expense reason is or the category it is meant to go into.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payhawk helps our finance team collate expenses across teams and simplifies managing a high volume of expenses quickly.

 ### 31. User-Friendly for Payments, But ERP Connectivity Needs more flexibility

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joan M. | Accounting Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

Easy to implement and also easy to use tool without having a deep technical knowledge.

Managing CC, reimbursements and payments is way more efficient thaks to Payhawk.

Customer Support team is also very responsive and AI used for Customer Support is capable of solving issues most of the times.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

Connectivity issues to our ERP as sometimes both frameworks are very restrictive.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing Credit Card expenses mainly, which is been easier than ever.

 ### 32. Payhawk has helped the company I work in a lot, but there is still a lot of improvements to be done.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** marina i. | Finance Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

The most helpful thing is that we have everything invoice related in one software. From approvals, payments to exports for accountings, it helps a lot. Everything is there and we don't need to go searching through mails to see if we can pay something. It is also very easy to submit an invoice. Customer support is quick and helps us when there is a problem. I use Payhawk on a daily for 9 months now so I have had a lot of experience with changes and updates.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

There are still some bugs from Payhawks side, with AI that sometimes reads invoices wrong, or when it stops working and gives errors when there is a lot of us inside the program at the same time, but the problems are minimal when you look at all of the benefits.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have benefited from having everything that our treasury department needs in one program. We can submit invoices, pay invoices, download payment confirmations, externally export invoices for further billings to our clients, we can send invoices to accountings with service periods needed for booking.

 ### 33. Easy to Use Once You Get Going

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

Easy to use once you get going or spend sometime to figure out how it should really work.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

There is just way too much untapped functionality and I think it would be easier if there are more case studies on use cases and support on implementation of those features on a regular basis.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everything that impacts a modern but young finance team i.e. PO approvals, invoices, cards, expenses.

 ### 34. Simple and efficient business expense management

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

The simplicity in managing a company's expenses.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

There are still aspects to refine, such as filtering by dates in expenses.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manage the card expenses of the sales representatives.

**Official Response from Raquel Orejas:**

> We're pleased to hear that Payhawk is helping you manage your sales representatives' card expenses efficiently. Your feedback about the need for improvements in filtering expenses by dates is valuable, and we'll strive to address this to further benefit your business.

They are solving the issues regarding card receipt chasing for our business with the Financial Controller AI, which has been a fantastic addition for our business.

 ### 36. User-Friendly Experience

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

Accesibility, responsive support, new feature implementation

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

Sometimes it's too slow, or stops working, AI doesn't detect text or numbers properly

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Document organization and overlook

 ### 38. Efficient and User-Friendly Expense Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laurens N. | Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

Payhawk makes expense management incredibly easy and efficient. The platform is intuitive, with a clean interface that simplifies tracking, approvals, and reporting. The automation features save a lot of time, especially for reconciling expenses and integrating with accounting software. The ability to issue corporate cards with flexible controls is also a big plus, giving our team the freedom to manage spending while maintaining full oversight.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

While Payhawk is a great tool, the mobile app could be slightly more responsive at times. Additionally, adding more customization options for reports would be a helpful improvement. However, the customer support team is always responsive and open to feedback, which makes a real difference.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payhawk eliminates the hassle of manual expense tracking and reimbursement by providing a centralized platform for managing corporate spending. The ability to issue cards with spending limits ensures better budget control during events. Real-time expense tracking and automated reporting save us valuable time, allowing us to focus more on event execution rather than administrative tasks.

It's very versatile, and you can automate a wide range of tasks. Customer support is excellent, and it's easy to implement and integrate with Sage X3.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

As with any tool, there’s always room for improvement. I’d like to have more control over approval workflows and better customization of the fields that users can access or fill in.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

VISA reconciliation, approval workflows, and supplier invoice posting.
Reconciliation is automated, workflows are digital and easy to configure, and invoice posting is faster thanks to the OCR technology and error detection system.

 ### 41. User-Friendly Interface with Impressive AI Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

User friendly, AI features. Good transparency and easy payments. Good customer support always willing to help.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

Sometimes it takes too much time to get implementation of crucial features for us. The Payhawk team has to focus on customer's needs more that just looking at improvements with their eyes.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transparency, approval management, easy purchasing system and payments.

 ### 42. Very useful and intuitive application

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

The payment from the app and registration details

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

That it is implemented in few countries, South America is missing for example

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Avoid expense reports and their validations with signature. It saves me time and management.

 ### 43. Great Solution for Expense Management and Business Process Automation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron S. | Junior Financial Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

The intregrations with other software solutions. DATEV connection really streamlines our collaboration with external accountants.

You get great support for implementation into your company at all times. The number of features is also great and everything is quite intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

The communication about the pricing scheme. Cashback is also capped at the license fee.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interdepartmental collaboration, transparency. Matching invoices to expenses.

 ### 44. Streamlining Ad Spend and Expense Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

The ability to issue separate Payhawk cards for each ad platform (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) is a lifesaver. This provides crystal-clear visibility into spend per platform, eliminating the messy reconciliation I used to deal with. I can instantly see where my budget is going and identify any anomalies quickly.

The real-time dashboard shows exactly how much has been spent on each platform, allowing me to optimize campaigns.

I dont need to manually enter data or upload receipts. Payhawk automatically captures receipts (even photos of receipts work) and matches them to transactions. This saves me hours of administrative work each month, freeing me up to focus on strategy and analysis.

Setting spending limits per card and platform is essential for managing ad budgets effectively. This is also helpful in staying with the allocated budget.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

Smaller agencies or individual/freelance marketers might find the pricing a bit costly.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a performance marketer, I'm constantly jumping between ad budgets across multiple platforms. Keeping track of spend, invoicing and ensuring everything aligns with our reporting is a difficult task. Payhawk is very helpful for simplifying this process, particularly with its card and expense management features. I even tried Finway before switching to Payhawk, and the difference has been night and day.

 ### 45. Effortless expenses

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

Payhawk has made managing expenses incredibly simple and hassle-free. The platform’s intuitive design makes reviewing and submitting expenses a smooth process, saving time and effort. I’ve found it incredibly easy to navigate, and the best part is that my team has had no issues using it—they haven’t needed to ask a single question about how it works. This level of user-friendliness removes the usual friction that comes with expense management and ensures everything gets processed quickly and efficiently.

One of the biggest advantages of Payhawk is how it breaks down administrative barriers, making it easier to stay organised and submit expenses on time. The streamlined workflow helps eliminate the usual back-and-forth, allowing expenses to be tracked and approved without delays. By reducing the stress of manual expense management, Payhawk has made a noticeable difference in how my team handles finances. If you’re looking for a tool that simplifies expense reporting without unnecessary complexity, this platform is definitely worth considering.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

The only issue I've found with Payhawk is the speed of email notifications. I'll get members of my team asking my about expense approvals that I didn't know existed as they haven't reached my inbox yet. In some cases I received no notifications at all, not even to my spam folder... Not usually a big problem as my team would let me know, but I'm not logging every day, so sometimes people can get left waiting.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main issue we had before Payhawk came along was members of the team putting off submitting expenses as it was an admin headache. They would then submit them in batches out of sync with project timelines, making it trickier to manage the cashflow.

 ### 46. Good experience overall

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

When it gets to submit expenses the interface is quite straightforward. It gets the job done with no problems. Approving is made easier by the reminder emails

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

The navigation is sometimes confusing. I like the dashboard with all the expenses to review but I don't find an obvious way to see all the ones I submitted (those are mixed with the ones I approved).

Also there are some recurrent mistakes that the auto-filling of expense based on screenshot make. It would be great if the engine could "learn" from it (eg every time I submit a screenshot for a card payment the amount is read as negative. Every time I correct that manually. Can't this be understood?

In the autocomplete fields like Supplier, it would be good to introduce suggestions to avoid duplicates

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can submit expense for reimbursement and I can see what my team spend and approve

 ### 47. Helpful, Friendly and very informative

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

It is quick, effective for all of the company and easy to use

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

AI can be off at times, but it picks it self up again. Segregation of duties. Not being able to set rules to block employee cards if they have a certain amount of missing receipts

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everything all in one place, You can raise PO, upload and pay invoices in main currencies and expenses are uploaded easily and paid too

 ### 48. Rather good for invoice processing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcin K. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

As a user or payhawk, I like:
- automatic text recognition
- clear document status history
- email notification when an invoice is rejected

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

- more info could be fullfilled right away before the invoice is submitted. When I upload the invoice, there are several fields that I need to fill and it's always the same information. Right now I just open previous invoice in a separate window/tab to fill the same info for the new invoice, would be nice to automate it somehow.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sending expense/invoice to the payroll team and getting feedback information about that expense

 ### 49. Effective and quick help

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

It is very intuitive and also offers excellent management and support to the finance department.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

If I have to mention a disadvantage, it would be having more graphics on the main platform.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payhawk helps with expense management in a very remarkable way

 ### 50. Payhawk is sleek and efficient to add and organise supplier payments and staff expenses.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon T. | Support and Finance Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

The best area is the handling of staff expenses. This has been a game changer as the company used to use a spreadsheet in Google but now we have a very easy and efficient structure for staff to submit any expenses. The fact that each staff member can download the app and then just upload their expense in a few easy steps takes a lot of time out of the procedure compared to what was required before moving to Payhawk.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

The only area that I dislike about Payhawk is that it takes a bit of time to set up - mainly the mapping of codes from Payhawk to Quickbooks Online (which is what the company use). It can take some time to map them and set them up in a way that makes sense in Payhawk and then maps correctly into Quickbook but, once it is done, you only have to tweak them if new codes are added. A lot of customer support is available though if any issues are found during the initial set up, which is great.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payhawk has made it nice and simple to keep an eye on supplier invoices and staff expenses mainly but also the easy issuing of cards (physical or virtual) to staff members that need them is amazing. Once requested, the cards are available very quickly and can easily be frozen if a staff member leaves with spend limits also available if needed. This has made life so much easier when staff are out and about visiting clients as instead of having to submit expense claims, they can use the cards which then automatically filters back into the system and to the relevant staff member. This also rules out any mistakes when manually submitting expenses from spreadsheets.
