"Simplified Payroll Management, With a Few Navigation Hiccups"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

I like that I don't have to bother HR to get stuff I need. I appreciate being able to see my paychecks all in one spot and not having to file them in a paper cabinet anymore. It's convenient that I no longer have to receive paper paystubs, and I can get all my tax information from one website. Setting up Paycor was simple, just creating a username and password. What do you dislike about Paycor?

Sometimes it can be hard to find benefits. I'm not sure if that is a Paycor issue or my HR not putting the information in correctly. I try to find information on my 401k plan, matching, and contributions, but cannot find anything on what my company offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great 1-on-1s and time-off tools, but objectives and web/app consistency need work"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

What I like best about Paycor is the 1-on-1s feature. The customizable meeting templates make it easy to structure weekly check-ins with my manager, document key discussion points, and refer back to previous conversations. I especially appreciate being able to view my responses from the prior week in a drop-down beneath each question, which helps me track progress and maintain continuity from one meeting to the next.

The ability to review and export previous notes as a PDF is also extremely helpful when preparing for quarterly and annual performance reviews. Rather than trying to reconstruct accomplishments, feedback, and development topics from memory, I can reference a clear record of my discussions throughout the year.

I’m also a big fan of the Time Off feature in the Paycor mobile app. It makes requesting time off quick, easy, and convenient, especially when I’m away from my computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycor?

One area I find less intuitive is the process for creating quarterly objectives within the Performance tracking feature. The workflow can feel somewhat clunky and more complicated than necessary, which makes it harder to quickly create, update, and manage objectives.

I also find the experience inconsistent between the Paycor website and mobile app. For example, requesting time off through the app is quick and straightforward, but the same feature can be difficult to locate on the website. At the same time, the website includes several resources and capabilities that are not available in the app.

A more consistent experience across both platforms—including similar navigation, functionality, and access to key features—would make Paycor easier and more convenient to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly and Efficient with Minor Approval Hiccups"
5/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

I like how user-friendly Paycor is and I also enjoy using the mobile app. It's simple and allows me to quickly clock in and out, especially when I'm traveling for client visits. If I miss a punch, I can easily request a change without jumping through hoops, which I really appreciate. Paycor makes it easy to track my time off and pay stubs, which simplifies my work routine. The initial setup was fairly easy, something that most people could handle regardless of their computer skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycor?

I believe Paycor could have some issues with approving the timesheets. Sometimes, I will approve it, and then my supervisor is unable to see it on her end, or I'm unable to approve it. And I have to approve it multiple times. I'm not sure if that's a user error, but I think it would be beneficial to take a look into it just so people are not having to approve timesheets multiple times. "Effortless to Use, Perfect for Payroll Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

I really like how Paycor shows me when I'm getting paid and provides a breakdown of my payments and taxes. It's super easy to clock in and out, and I find Paycor easy to use and learn in general. I also appreciate being able to see my PTO, and I love how easy it is to access important information related to me and my banking details. Setting it up was very easy too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycor?

Maybe fixing the slowness of clocking in would be great. When I click on the tabs to clock in, it takes a minute for each tab to pull up, or it freezes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective Time Tracking with Some Hiccups"
3/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

I find Paycor to be a good time tracking system, and the menu options on the computer are much more user-friendly than the keypad. It's very accurate on my time sheet and makes tracking my hours during the pay period convenient. The tracking of PTO and sick leave is very helpful for planning my time off. Access via the computer is the best option as it helps me keep better track of my time, overtime, as well as lunch and breaks. It's valuable because I can accurately and promptly track my clock in and out times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycor?

From time to time the computer version freezes and I have to reload the page. The pad in the hallway is more difficult to remember clock in and clock out times, and the scrolling options could be reduced. I'm also not sure why the declaration of a lunch is still on there when using the pad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Paycor Makes Payroll and HR Info Easy to Manage in One Place"
5/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

What I like best about Paycor is how easy it is to use. I can quickly access my pay stubs, tax documents, direct deposit information, and time-off balances all in one place. The app and website are easy to navigate, and I like being able to update my personal information without having to contact HR. Overall, Paycor makes it simple to keep track of my payroll information and has been a convenient tool for managing everything related to my employment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycor?

One thing I dislike about Paycor is that it logs me out after a period of inactivity. If I step away for a few minutes, I often have to log back in, which can be frustrating and interrupt my workflow. A longer inactivity timeout or an option to adjust the session length would make the experience much more convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visibly Appealing, Organized and User Friendly Software - New Store additions need work"
4/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

The ease of use and overall functionality of custom reports; however they are going to be getting rid of the custom reports very soon. I use the general ledger report specifically to help balance payroll journal entries each month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycor?

How long it takes to get a new location onboarded. We have had a new location for two months and still have to manually load in payroll for it. I also don't like that they are removing custom reports. Custom report templates are way better and more user friendly than the overly cumbersome report builder options. There is no way to mirror the custom templates to match the report builder options. I've tried over and over again. It's also difficult to get a resolution quickly. Cases have to be opened and can sometimes take months to resolve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Time Management with Paycor"
5/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

I find Paycor great because it's easy to use. I can log in quickly and efficiently with just a few clicks. I like that it allows me to keep all my time off and time cards in one place, which helps me manage my time all in one place. I appreciate knowing how much time I have, what I've used, what I need to use, and the hours I've worked for my pay week. The ease of use is a big plus, and having everything I need at my fingertips is very convenient. The initial setup was easy, which made the transition smooth. "Fast, Effective Tools That Deliver"
5/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

What I like best about Paycor is how fast and effective all of its tools are. The platform is easy to navigate, and tasks that used to take a lot of time can be completed quickly and efficiently. Features like payroll processing, employee management, and reporting are responsive and reliable, which helps improve daily workflow and productivity. Another benefit is that everything is centralized in one system, making it easier to access information and manage tasks without switching between multiple platforms. Overall, Paycor saves time, streamlines processes, and makes day-to-day operations much more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycor?

One downside of Paycor is that some features can feel overly complicated and require navigating through too many menus and buttons to find what you need. While the platform is powerful, certain tasks are not always intuitive, which can make the user experience frustrating, especially for newer users. Sometimes it takes longer than expected to locate specific information or settings because they are buried within multiple screens. Simplifying the navigation and making commonly used features easier to access would improve efficiency and make the platform more user-friendly overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple Setup, but Frustrating Authentication"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

I like how easy it is to navigate through the Paycor website. Everything is laid out pretty simply, and there's a neat section for punching in and out, which makes using the system straightforward. The initial setup process was pretty simple too, with no complaints from my end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycor?

I really don't care for the newer feature where I have to sometimes (but not all the time) send a text to my phone with a code that I then have to input on the website. This is all just to create a punch. I don't understand the reasoning for this but it is bothersome. I would like to see it removed. I don't understand why that is the new norm most of the time.
