Paychex had the capabilities to handle everything we needed. Overall, the name feels trustworthy and reputable, and our staff didn’t have any complaints when we used them. Our pricing also continued to increase, and I didn't feel that the value we got out of it was any better than what I could find elsewhere, with better customer service. Now that we use ADP Workforce Now, I can't think of anything I did like about Paychex. The sales team was helpful, but that's where it ends. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Paychex? They could not handle our payroll, our payroll is not that complicated. We are now paying the same price with a company that can handle our payroll AND HR and recruitment. I'm glad we decided to leave Paychex. The sales team was great, but the implementation team was hard to work with. They made it seem like our payroll was really complicated, in reality it's not and ADP is able to handle it with ease. We were constantly having to reach out to customer support and the company should focus on providing better training. We had several account managers and they were not responsive via email. When I would have to call in to ask for assistance they would tell me that they would check in with my assigned account manager so I was just bounched back and forth and this did become frustrating. If you are someone who expects great custommer support and service, this might not be the solution for you.
