I work for a state agency with 35k+ users. We use Payara for both internal and external web apps. Payara makes deploying our dozens of Jakarta apps easy and provides features and options that make any implementation possible. Some of these can have a million or more transactions per day, and Payara never has even a hiccup. Honestly, I don't think a single bug or issue has been tracked back to Pyara, always programming/networking/etc. other errors. It's nice to have one piece of infrastructure that's reliable. Would be nice to be able to make war file updates without taking the service down. Maybe possible in Enterprise edition? We're switching to that this year, so we'll see!
