I have all my data in one place and I can run reports on IP status. I can have visual reports and can tie them to Acclaim IP for immediate IP landscape search. But that's not a straightforward, one-click solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is not easy to use. Requires a lot of training and remembering what entry needs to be followed by another in order to save the data. I do not enjoy using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When you are entering preexisting applications, it’s helpful to start with a first file, priority application to take advantage of the automation that takes place when you build out patent families. We are glad to hear you are taking advantage of AcclaimIP and the integration in PATTSY WAVE. The “Find Similar” feature should be very helpful with regards to IP landscape searches. We are also happy to provide assistance with these features when you are ready.

The information disclosure statement (IDS) part of pattsy is awful. It's difficult to use, has bugs, doesn't communicate with the USPTO (well, it does, but it doesn't fill in the record). It would be nice if Anaqua bought IDS software because Pattsy's attempt at the IDS is not helpful. Also, we recently started the AQS software and there are lots of issues with that. They have been more than friendly helping and answering every question we have but AQS is still a work in process Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While there is a lot of great functionality built into the module, we are currently enhancing the module so it takes better advantage of Public PTO data and to facilitate entry of new references for a matter. Hopefully these and other enhancements will help you take better advantage of the IDS tool in the future. With respect to the AQS software, we are glad to hear that our team has been responsive and helpful, please be sure to let our representatives know of any specific areas you feel could use improvement.

Search interface could be more intuitive. Some of the record export features (to excel in particular) return data that is difficult to manipulate. Pattsy has good USPTO form fillable platform and does a thorough job of managing deadlines, including calculation of PTA related to the expiration dates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform feels antiquated, and their newest updates are quirky, not allowing for highlight functionality and randomly opens the record for editing without actually clicking on the edit button. Additionally, some of the docket options are missing, and is not consistent across the board, varying from country to country. Sometimes, a utility application claims the benefit of more than one provisional. It would be nice to be able to add the second provisional to the family, and not just the priority section.
