We use this software as our wholesale asset portal. I enjoy the ease of use when it comes to our wholesalers self-serving assets. It is very easy for them to navigate and download what they need. I also really appreciate how responsive and supportive our rep is (Nate Bezzant is awesome!). While we don't use the feature, I do love that we could directly host images on our Shopify website (if only I could convince my ecommerce specialist) so that it would automatically update if we updated the assets in PXM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Pattern PXM? One of my biggest gripes is that I can't choose the order of images within a product folder. There is also a weird bug that happens periodically where I get stuck on a section within a product folder (for example if I'm in the images and I click on docs, it will move me to docs and then immediately bounce me back to images). The primary PXM use for us is as a wholesale asset portal so the wholesalers can self serve assets. This is much more efficient than manually providing assets upon request, as we have hundreds of wholesalers. We would also most likely utilize the Amazon catalog update sheet/template if we operated our own Amazon store, but we currently partner with Pattern. I liked that Pattern PXM is a very easy to understand interface, and structure that brings in all assignments and projects for all employees into one hub, to then be shared amongst a team. I think Pattern PXM has major competitors such as Slack, or Teams, and people are more used to the interface and layout of those applications. What do you dislike about Pattern PXM? My dislikes with the platform are all specific to the overall onboarding experience and are not at all specific to the platform and technology itself. Amplifi wants to make the platform work for every single use case but once signed on, there is little follow-up to help each client ensure onboarding is completed. My specific case may be the result of timing alone, but there were times where I had to follow up multiple times and then go above my POC before I received a response / update. Recommendations to others considering Pattern PXM: A great alternative to platforms like Brandfolder, especially for any teams who have a smaller to non-existent marketing department. Personalized support from a dedicated customer success manager, who took the time to learn about our business and understand the data and asset management challenges we were facing as a result of rapid growth. This custom and personalized onboarding meant our most significant pain points were prioritized and quickly addressed. The straightforward UX makes onboarding tech-challenged staff easy and has led to widespread adoption within our organization. The filename-based folder tagging feature is fantastic! Instead of spending hours filing away product assets, we now literally drag and drop them (in bulk) into amplifi, and they are imported into their respective product folders in seconds! Before implementing Amplifi, our product data and assets were scattered across various shared folders, drop boxes & employee hard drives. Finding the required data or asset took much longer than it should, not to mention you would often find multiple versions which would add confusion to what is current and correct. Sharing product data and assets with external stakeholders was time consuming and inefficient. With Amplifi, we now have a single source of truth for product data and assets. Staff can find what they are looking for quickly and can add missing data/files quickly to ensure catalogue is up to date. The various export and sharing options mean we can quickly pull the required data and files and make them available to our customers & partners in their preferred format. It's hard to narrow down to a specific file that you're looking for as the categorization has some limitations. Lots of firewalls preventing companies from accessing the site.
