I had used another payroll software for over 20 years, so I was nervous to switch my payroll to a new company. However, Patriot's customer service made the transition as easy as possible. I have had several questions as we switched over, and every time I've been able to reach someone quickly, either by chat or on the phone. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get in contact with a live person, and they have always taken the time to fully answer my questions. Now that we have completely transitioned to Patriot, I'm very pleased with the ease of running payroll each week. It was important to me that Patriot integrated with my previous software. The integration setup was quick and efficient and has performed as promised. The cost-savings wasn't the most important thing to me, but I am happy to be saving money on payroll each month. It is both simple and deep. You can easily run payroll for employees, contractors, on a monthly or bi-weekly or a one-off basis. The data integrates well with quickbooks and other platforms. Completing payroll becomes very easy to do on a regular basis. The pricing is competitive, often beating less competent competitors. If you run into issues, the support is STELLAR. People will bend over backwards to solve your problems and issues. Onboarding or switching from another payroll service provider is always complicated, but Patriot's customer service and onboarding people make it really easy. I really appreciate Patriot Software for its access to data and reporting without having to request it. It offers many helpful and useful reports that meet all of our needs and more. I also found a worker's comp wages report I could use for an audit, which saved me from having to build one. The initial setup was pretty easy, and support resolved a minor hiccup for me. I like Patriot Payroll because it is easy to navigate the site, the reminders are there for me, and the onboarding team is amazing! I wish that customer service would be available on Sat/Sun even for limited hours because many bookkeepers are working odd hours and need help that doesn't fit in the usual workweek. I love how easy it is to set up payroll with Patriot Software; I managed to get it done myself without any assistance and completed the first payroll within hours. The fast direct deposit, getting paychecks out with a 2-day turnaround, makes the staff very happy. I also appreciate the flexible pay schedules and how simple and accurate it is to set up sick pay and track time off. Patriot Software excels at collecting and reporting the CalSavers pension plan for employees. The initial setup was very easy and quick, and when I had a question, the support was fast to answer. I like how Patriot Software keeps the payroll process simple and easy to figure out. Running payroll literally takes me 5-10 minutes each time, which reduces the overwhelm of the process and ensures that I can focus on important work while our employees are all getting paid on time. I also appreciate that it does all of the calculations for tax withdrawals, does the processing, and makes approving timesheets and paying our employees super simple for me.
