I find Patriot Software really easy to set up. It's the easiest of any payroll software I've tried, whether it was QuickBooks or others. Setting up direct deposits and other features seemed difficult on other platforms, but with Patriot Software, it's straightforward and simple to use. It was the easiest and most cost-effective payroll solution for my small company, especially since I have a small team, and I don't need all of the extra tools. I think the UI is a little bland, but, again, I don't use it for anything else except just approving preset payrolls every month. So the features that I do use work really well. Patriot is easy to use, highly reliable and reasonably priced. To me, most important with payroll is accuracy, both for employee pay and taxes; I have never had any problem with either with Patriot. I really like the usability of Patriot Software; it's very user-friendly and allows me to handle things on my own without having to contact a CPA or involve accounting service professionals. I also appreciate the format and layout, which are very easy to read. The different options available, such as W-2 filings, are also quite beneficial for my needs.
