PassReal processes an AI-generated image in 4 steps. It strips the declared origin (PNG text chunks, XMP, IPTC and C2PA manifests), adds sensor grain and radial lens fringing, smooths the frequency residue left by upsampling, and saves a JPEG with camera EXIF. The results screen counts the provenance markers found in the upload and the ones left in the result. On a Gemini export, 174 markers went to 0. PassReal does not repaint content and does not promise to fool AI detectors: public detectors still flag processed images. It does not remove pixel watermarks such as SynthID.
