Pisco Inc. is building PartSense, the AI agent for hardware operations. PartSense integrates hardware engineering and supply chain teams to identify which parts in a design may be discontinued, may become difficult to buy, or lack a reliable alternative, before those risks turn into redesigns, delays or shortages. Hardware teams have long had to choose between moving quickly and researching thoroughly. PartSense removes that trade-off, giving teams the early visibility to proactively secure allocation or mitigate risk while there is still time to act. Research that once required dedicated effort across every part is completed in a fraction of the time, allowing teams to do more with the people and resources they already have. PartSense achieves this by fitting into the way hardware teams already work. Rather than adding another system to manage, it operates within existing workflows, from part selection and design review to sourcing and change management. It draws on context from across the organization, pairing design intent from engineering with the priorities and constraints of supply chain and procurement, so its recommendations reflect how the business actually operates. The result is guidance both teams can act on directly, without the back-and-forth that typically slows component decisions. Making good engineering decisions depends on risk assessments that are built on reliable data, kept current as market conditions change, and actionable. PartSense informs the decisions of engineers and supply chain professionals, who make the final call. It evaluates every part against the same risk dimensions, and it shows its work: each assessment is presented with the evidence behind it, so teams can see both the risk and the reasoning behind it. Pisco does not sell components and has no commercial interest in which parts its customers choose, so PartSense assessments reflect the evidence alone.
