Other partner tools that I evaluated offered too many "tools" that weren't really necessary or had diminishing returns on the acutal usability of them. **What do you dislike about PartnerPortal.io?** This company is a startup so many of the things that I dislike I feel confident will be resolved with time. - Although the tool is simple to use, it is very rigid in the sense that you cannot change certain views within the lead submission view and the lead list view. - Customizing certain fields or objects to match your CRM are not present, this offers lower visbility to partners about the actuall progress of deals they refere over - It's parnter payment options are limited **What problems is PartnerPortal.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before PartnerPortal we had a large issue with tracking partner referrals and applying the proper credit to those partners. Simply, our data was a mess and we needed a solution to act as the source of truth for our referred partner leads. We needed to provide our partners a simpler way to see the progress of the referrals that they sent our way. Before hand, we were sending monthly progress reports to our partners and that just wasn't scalable. The calendar link is sent in the sign-up email you received and provides an opportunity to learn the platform's full capabilities in a live session. If you signed up for our Free Plan, many of the additional integrations we offer will be hidden from your view as some of the integrations are exclusive to our Plus and Enterprise plans. These features are usually reviewed during the demo call. As for the email filtering, we use a company called Gated.com that helps prevent spam in our employee inboxes. Gated offers an optional donation to charity, but is not required to connect with our team. It is far too simple to learn and apply. For example, partners cannot change the phase of the deal; instead, partners can only enter notes about the deals. When dealing with multiple deals at the same time, this adds extra work for the vendor. The PartnerPortal.io executive team has real-world experience building partner programs for SaaS technology companies and digital agencies. Their solution reflects this domain expertise because their PRM serves these partner program types well. I think their perspective on integrating their PRM into other best-in-breed technologies will bode well for them into the future as more partner teams look to integrate their PRM into other tools versus choosing a PRM that does everything in-house. Pricing and packaging wise they hit the mark for delivering a ton of value for the money. **What do you dislike about PartnerPortal.io?** As a newer technology vendor in the PRM space the depth of product features to cover education, training, MDF, and other partner program needs isn't as built out yet. How to track sourced vs influenced revenue is another requested feature I'd like to see. It is easier to communicate with the agents that are submitting the leads, so they know where in the process their clients are with my business.
