## Particle Reviews
  ### 1. It was a decent but unreliable product

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Particle?**

It is cheap and effective but sometimes unreliable for engineering purposes

**What do you dislike about Particle?**

It updates all the time and takes a long time to do so, leading to unreliability

**What problems is Particle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Controlling and testing basic circuit board configurations

  ### 2. Incredible Platform with Poor Integrations Experiences

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Particle?**

Particle has an incredible community that is supports the backbone of trying to both learn and to develop on the platform. Additionally, particle is able to integrate into many of the most popular IoT platforms with a myriad of devices.

**What do you dislike about Particle?**

While Particle does have integrations into many IoT platforms such as Azure, setting up, troubleshooting, and debugging was one of the most frustrating challenges that I experienced. For the price that I am paying for particle devices, I was expecting the integration to have gone much more smoothly.

**Recommendations to others considering Particle:**

Read the documentation properly, and be sure to explore the community as many of the questions that you have could be resolved by simply just googling them. The documentation is far from complete.

**What problems is Particle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, we are using Particle devices to listen and trigger microphones at real time based on user activity. Due to my limited experience of deploying particle in the field (because the integration was so frustrating), I have yet to realize any benefits.
