Parsivex is cloud cost management software for AWS that identifies wasted resources and monitors spending anomalies. It connects securely via a read-only IAM role to analyze billing data, CloudWatch metrics, and resource inventory. Parsivex detects waste in idle EC2 instances, unattached EBS volumes, oversized RDS databases, and stale snapshots, providing reports with remediation steps. The alert system detects cost anomalies by comparing daily spending to a 14-day median baseline, triggering alerts only with significant ratio and dollar changes to reduce false positives. New services billing above a set threshold are flagged even without historical data. Paid plans offer continuous monitoring, recurring scans, and daily spend checks, with alerts via email or Slack for new waste or cost spikes. Advanced plans include AI-powered bill analysis and multi-account support for centralized cost governance.
