"Game Changer for Keeping Families Engaged and Up to Date"
5/5
What do you like best about ParentSquare?

I really like ParentSquare because it has completely transformed the way we communicate with families. It allows us to share important updates, event reminders, and classroom highlights all in one place, making communication more streamlined and efficient. With features like two-way messaging, automatic translations, and real-time notifications, we’re able to reach every family in a way that’s timely, accessible, and inclusive. It’s helped build stronger connections and foster a greater sense of partnership between home and school. Our families now go to ParentSquare FIRST to find information. That is a major win! "Streamine lining communication for families and staff at Texas school district"
5/5
What do you like best about ParentSquare?

ParentSquare has proven to be an exceptionally user-friendly platform for our teachers, principals, and parents alike. Its intuitive interface makes it easy for all stakeholders to navigate and utilize effectively.

One of ParentSquare's standout features is its ability to centralize communication. Parents can effortlessly access all district communications in one convenient location, which significantly improves information accessibility. From an administrative perspective, managing ParentSquare has been straightforward and efficient. We also appreciate that ParentSquare support is always informative, quick, and helpful.

The seamless data synchronization between ParentSquare and our student information system has been particularly impressive, ensuring data accuracy and saving valuable time. We use ParentSquare daily for both internal district communication and for parent communications, making it an indispensable tool. The newsletter feature has been a huge success, leading to an increased number of teachers sending out weekly newsletters to families, which has greatly enhanced engagement.

We also highly appreciate the "auto-notices" feature, which allows us to easily disseminate important information regarding absences, lunch fees, and other critical topics.

Overall, ParentSquare is an invaluable tool that has streamlined our school's communication efforts and enhanced engagement with our parent community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ParentSquare?

Information overload has been our only complaint about ParentSquare. The ease of use for teachers and principals has led to a significant increase in communication, which, while beneficial, can sometimes result in an overload for families. We are actively addressing this by providing clear best practices and guidelines to our teachers and principals on optimal usage, including when to utilize direct messages versus broader posts, to ensure families receive relevant and digestible information without feeling overwhelmed.

It is genuinely challenging to identify significant drawbacks with ParentSquare. Having transitioned from previous communication methods, the improvements ParentSquare offers are so substantial that we have encountered very few aspects to dislike, and any minor challenges, like managing communication volume, are actively being addressed through internal training and best practices. "Amazing Communication Resource for Families"
5/5
What do you like best about ParentSquare?

ParentSquare has been a great addition to our communication and marketing efforts. As Director of Communication and Marketing, I appreciate a tool that can easily connect our school with families, ultimately improving student outcomes and overall school success. The platform offers user-friendly urgent and smart alerts to reach parents quickly. We love how it provides a centralized hub for sharing crucial information, announcements and updates with parents through various channels like text messages, emails, and mobile app notifications. The convenience and ease of use for both staff and families are unmatched. The customer support from ParentSquare is among the best in the School Comms industry. We are routinely asked for feedback on products in development and product additions that would improve our use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ParentSquare?

There is nothing I dislike about ParentSquare. However, the newsletter template system - Studio Editor - is not quite as robust as I would like. ParentSquare has made many improvements with more to come, so I expect in the future this could be our primary newsletter system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ParentSquare is a solid 10 out of 10!"
5/5
What do you like best about ParentSquare?

I love that the platform is user friendly and our staff and families took to it almost immediately. The implementation and integration process was easy and we felt supported through every step. We use it for all of our communication purposes...district, building, clubs, activities, sports, etc. as well as parent conferences and volunteer sign-ups. We use Auto Notices to communicate lunch balances, state test scores and Smart Notices to communicate weather closures and other timely information. We use SmartSites for our website platform. I was able to discontinue use with five other separate systems when we rolled out ParentSquare. But...what I have been super pleased with in the two years we have been a customer is their commitment to customer service. They are OUTSTANDING! I highly recommend ParentSquare. "ParentSquare promotes positive home school communication"
5/5
What do you like best about ParentSquare?

As someone who's used ParentSquare extensively, I can attest to its efficiency in promoting positive school-home communication. The automatic translation feature is particularly helpful, as it bridges the gap for non-English speaking families. Having a single hub for all announcements and updates reduces chaos and enhances engagement. Schools truly benefit from its cohesive interface and time-saving features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ParentSquare?

We find that some parents, especially those with multiple students in the school system at different schools, can experience message fatigue. This can be somewhat addressed through the notification settings, but it would be nice to have some sort of priority settings for posts or allow parents to opt out of posts from particular users (food service-related information, for example). We have been able to use ParentSquare for many needs in a centralized platform, including district announcements, crisis communication, school and classroom level communication, two-way direct message communication, attendance notifications, bus transportation communication, extracurricular athletics and activities communication, appointment sign-ups, report card delivery, and more. "Ludlow Public Schools: ParentSquare and Smart Sites"
5/5
What do you like best about ParentSquare?

I have been involved in the relationship with ParentSquare from launch, onboarding, staff orientation, summer camp, reviews of what's new, troubleshooting via chat with your excellent support staff, and exploring your other products. Not only am I a district employee, but I am also an LPS parent who utilizes ParentSquare in that capacity. As a member of the community (former coach and substitute teacher), parents eagerly share their feedback with me, both on and off the clock.

ParentSquare has truly been a boon for our school's communication with families. From launch to ongoing engagement, their innovative solutions like smart alerts and automatic translations have made a significant difference in how we connect with our community. In my dual-role as a district employee and a parent, I've experienced firsthand the ease of staying informed and involved in my child's education. The feedback from other parents has been overwhelmingly positive—they love the convenience of the mobile app for classroom communications and accessing forms. Above all, every interaction with ParentSquare's support team has been prompt and helpful, which just bolsters our confidence in their platform as a comprehensive communication hub. The Superintendent of Ludlow Public Schools, Dr. Frank Tiano, has also made excellent use of ParentSquare's Newsletter feature which he has used as a weekly update to keep our families and staff informed and engaged with the district as a whole. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ParentSquare?

Nothing negative to note. Parents may like the option for fewer alerts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
