I was looking for my credits/grades at several community colleges I have attended throughout the years. In the past, it was a difficult, unsuccessful task. With Parchment, it was fast, effective, and efficient. It was clear to me what was going to be happening and what I needed to do to send those credits to certain colleges and to myself. Parchment helps students connect with a number of schools they have attended, and to transfer those credits and information to one or more third parties, and to themselves. The problem was, for years, that this process was lengthy, unclear, difficult, and often unsuccessful. Parchment solved it by creating technology that gets the job done quickly and successfully, and keeps the user informed throughout the process. Communication from parchment is timely and awesome. It is highly user-friendly and practically thinks for you. I was tasked with manually processing each transcript request for up to 500 graduates going to college, and now with Parchment, our district can do everything electronically in a fraction of the time. The staff at Parchment are extremely helpful to the communities they provide the service for and the users. Parchment makes transcript ordering and tracking easy and efficient. Our high school students and alumni can easily place orders and track when institutions are in receipt of the document. It would be great if receiving institutions received alerts when they had a new transcript available for download in their Parchment account. I've spent a lot of time this fall calling universities to alert them they have a transcript available for download. They are surprised when I call with the DID number and typically respond they didn't know a document was sent.
