Paperturn makes it easy to share PDFs as live, interactive links. This has made it extremely easy for my team and me to share annual reports with donors, rather than sending them by snail mail or as email attachments. It's simple to upload and customize PDFs, and I especially like the "contents" feature, which makes it easy for the recipient to skip to specific sections. I can't stress how easy this tool is. The one downside I've encountered so far is the preview image being downgraded when using the share thumbnail feature. There's no perfect ratio of physical size to image quality for my current reports. It's a very cool feature, but the downgrading of the image quality makes it difficult to fully take advantage of it. Excellent product, ease of use and the ability to brand it with our own logos colours etc. It is very easy to create the turning brochures and then use the update facility to simply change the brochure when changes have been made or there is a newer version. Nothing really as of yet we have not found any issues or things we dislike. We had static PDF brochures that didn't look or live very well in the new digital age of rotating mobile phones and tablets and new style laptops. We wanted something that was slicker and would hold a readers attention whilst allowing them to easily navigate our reference heavy brochures. The fact we could integrate video and hyper links made it even more appealing along with the ability to put extra technical information into the products on teh page via the drop down boxes. The software was very easy to use. I had no previous experience with page-turning software, and Paperturn was effortless to get started with and navigate; thanks to a user friendly UI. It also makes the experience nicer and easier for our customers when browsing our range. The interface is very simple to use, which makes it easy for me to teach other people internally. It's stripped back considerably compared to more complicated Adobe products. You don't need a designer's or coder's knowledge to understand it, and anybody on my team seems to be able to pick it up easily. The ease of application is a great selling point for it. The initial setup was very easy and seamless, with no bumps, and the support from Dan Rees was really helpful. I'd be happy to set it up again if needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Paperturn? Some of the things that could be improved is I'd like to have a better copy and paste function. Currently, I have to copy it, save the page, then paste it, and save the page again, which is not very straightforward. Having a more fluid copy and paste for when you want multiple buttons of the same size would be beneficial. Also, with the alignment tools, it would be nice to have something similar to an alignment tool in Adobe products rather than just having to work on coordinates. For me, I understand the coordinates, but trying to explain that to other people takes a while for them to understand. Alignment has to be done on a pixel location. What drew me to Paperturn initially was the premium user experience the platform is able to deliver to our readers. Making it very easy to link from one issue to another, and back again, offering our audience seamless access to related content, was exactly the sort of user experience we were interested in delivering. Once we made the decision to use the Paperturn platform, I was very impressed with the level of customer service they deliver. I have no hesitation in recommending Paperturn to industry colleagues. The best part of Paperturn's platform is the ability to easily link content from one publication to another. This improves the user experience, and allows a reader to access relevant-and-related content from one issue to another, creating a heightened user experience that has resulted in more subscribers. The platform also makes it very easy to share our content - including sending visually-attractive links to our advertisers as their ads hit the market, so they can easily see their promotions once they go live. I really appreciate the way it looks. It’s cool that the pages actually turn in the flipbooks, and overall it feels like a high-quality product. My company uses it for very specific reasons, and we don’t have much use for the extra features, so there isn’t much flexibility to pay only for what we actually need. The ability to convert documents with interactive content in a format which relates to a physical document. A useful tool is being able to manage our platform so documents can be taken down / edited live. What do you dislike about Paperturn? When editing, the entire page should be replaced based on the original .pptx that was saved as a .pdf. Sometimes, in larger companies where multiple people maintain brochures, the original source files can get lost, and trying to recreate them from a .pdf isn’t the best solution. My suggestion is to allow uploading the .pptx so it’s automatically converted to .pdf, while keeping both formats available to download. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Flipbooks can be shared externally—for example, with a job candidate who doesn’t yet have access to company resources—so they can learn about work benefits before onboarding.
