Before I discovered Paperguide, everything was done manually. I had to jump across multiple websites and tools just to build a single well-referenced article. The default interface language doesn’t include Indonesian, which can be limiting for non-English users like myself.

The AI Search feature also doesn’t support Indonesian by default, and exports from this feature are often incomplete. While AI Search does create solid article summaries, exporting them often only includes the reference list—not the full summary or data insights. Ideally, users should be able to export a full draft based on AI results and build from there.

When multiple reference sources are in different languages, the AI tends to favor the dominant language only. A smarter multilingual mix would be more inclusive and insightful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a healthcare professional research is incredibly important. I cannot rely on anecdotes or blog articles and must know my sources and be solid with research. Paperguide helps to make more efficient the process of researching complex topics and finding good sources. It is also simple and easy to use while also offering a comprehensive research overview. It can take some time to generate responses. This is understandable for research and not a huge issue. There may be a way but I haven't quite figured out as much about training it on responses in the same way some other AI offers (custom instructions etc) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Paperguide has transformed my research across multiple subjects.

It searches more than 220 million papers, so every project starts on solid ground. I also use it as a reference manager: while browsing other sites, I can clip sources straight into my Paperguide library and switch effortlessly between APA, MLA and other citation styles.

My one wish is support for Greek-language databases with automatic translation, that would make an already outstanding tool even stronger.

EVERYTHING! I can do my research, I can extract data, I can work with PDF file, I can review any literature, I can leave my notes on any file. Like honestly it suits my needs. The best feature is chatting with PDF files as I can get a clear summary what it is about but I would love to see other files as well like Word, Excell, CSV etc. and populate data. I was not able to find more languages like Czech which was quite disappointing. Also I would love to see more models options or BYOK at least. Couldn't find any settings for it. I’ve only been using Paperguide for a short while, mainly testing out the AI search feature. What really impressed me is that when you search for something, it doesn’t just give you generic AI responses - it actually pulls from real research data and sources to back up what it’s telling you.
