I love this platform as this platform gives researchers most of the assistance required for in depth analysis to come to conclusion for the research. The platform also have other useful features like reference manager that allows user to find out all the sources of the article. Other than this the writing assistant helps in summarizing, editing and making the article grammatically correct while also providing the capacity to brainstorm with exiting document or completely new documents. Other than this I also love the capability of this platform to allow chatting with PDF files which makes user grab the content of the document faster. Frankly I am satisfied with the performance of this platform. The user friendly interface of this platform allows user to be more comfortable while using this platform. After purchasing Paperguide(PG) on AppSumo, I was expecting just another AI-based writing tool. Boy, was I wrong! PG to me is a whole research ecosystem that has AI writing (depending on user level), summary, and research tools built in. Three apps in one! PaperGuide not only enables the search for scientific articles but also provides a comprehensive systematic evaluation of the search results. For each found article, you can "at the push of a button" retrieve the main results, the research method(s) used, identified research gaps, tested hypotheses, etc. You receive a large but clear table where the found articles are in the rows and the aforementioned information is in the columns. You can decide the number of columns yourself. The ability to interact with documents (e.g., PDFs) is also (almost) perfect. You can not only ask questions but also perform more complex tasks (e.g., creating multiple-choice questions including explanations of the correct answer(s)). What I don't quite like at the moment is the display of the quoted text passages when interacting with documents (e.g., PDFs). This is done in a popup as continuous text. I haven't found clear details on which LLM underpins Paperguide, and this opacity might concern users who need assurance about data accuracy and research depth.

Support has been excellent—responses are quick and personable, and the company’s product roadmap shows an active commitment to improvement. That said, features like plagiarism checking are still under development, and there are restrictions on PDF upload size.
