"More than 10 years of use, a true joy!"
5/5
What do you like best about PaperCut?

What I like the most: the follow me feature, the ease of management and implementation, the support for different copier brands, the integration with an LDAP/AD. The availability of PaperCut support in case of issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PaperCut?

What I like the least might be the impossibility of having a Papercut Master cluster. But this is not Papercut's responsibility; it is due to the difficulty of setting up and maintaining an SQL database replication and also to Microsoft's discontinuation of the printer cluster function. "Papercut, a print management game changer"
5/5
What do you like best about PaperCut?

Easy to install on multiple printers.

Easy to link Windows Server AD to Papercut and bulk send printer PIN details to users.

Easy to setup and install on multiple BYODs on campus.

Excellent support directly with Papercut themselves.

I can automate monthly reports for the finance team based on their requirements for usage and billing.

Print via your phone effortlessly.

We use this daily.

Support assisted us to easily integrate this into our campus systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PaperCut?

As far as I know, it can't manage multiple operating system drivers for a single "click this link to install" option for a BYOD campus. However, it does work with sending out a link for Windows and Mac separately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PaperCut?

The user interface is just a little awkward. The digital keyboard is hard to use efficiently. The time it takes to switch tasks is a bit long and time consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Customer Service"
5/5
What do you like best about PaperCut?

Easy to use, user friendly interface and great control over print management Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PaperCut?

We faced issued with Client Auto Update Feature, it is not updating the clients promtly and there is no visibility in the Papercut portal to update us how many clients has which application versions. We have over 1500 users and the bug in the older client versions are creating pain for us. If this feature could visibility feature could be added, it would be great. "PaperCut has truly revolutionized our printing processes!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about PaperCut?

Its user-friendly interface makes managing print jobs a breeze. The software's ability to track and control printing has significantly reduced waste and saved us money. Highly recommend PaperCut for any organization looking to streamline their printing!" Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PaperCut?

One minor drawback is that the initial setup for more complex environments can be a bit intricate. A more streamlined onboarding process would be a welcome improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An easy to use and feature rich print management software"
5/5
What do you like best about PaperCut?

Papercut has an intuitive UI and wonderful documention. It has helped us cut down on unneeded printing, and provides a very convient print release system for our staff. Unless somethnig seriously changes, we will be sticking with it for years to come. We first started with PapercutNG and migrated to PapercutMF for intergration with our copiers which went super smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PaperCut?

If there was a way to pass more printer specific options to the Mobility Print provider, then we'd have almost no compaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A perfect solution in complex reality"
4.5/5
What do you like best about PaperCut?

The print control software has definitely revolutionized our cost management and control system. The biggest impact has been in user management, which in the past was done on each individual machine but is now controlled centrally. This way of acting has allowed us to:

- precisely control users;

- we can define precisely which resources each can use;

- when changing machines, the user transfer operation no longer exists, only the new resource needs to be updated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PaperCut?

Nothing in particular, but I would suggest better management of the reporting part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
