Sharp, HP and Ricoh). PaperCut has been setup to provide print release to about $150 printer. The initial response has been positive. Our employees speak favorably of the PaperCut system, making it easier to print to any printer using one installed print queue. While we are still early in the implementation the expectation is that it will reduce the overall cost of printing while increasing our print security. The other great feature is the integrated scanning that the system provides. It allows a user to scan to email without having to seach and locate their account information. With PaperCut, that information is incorporated into the user profile as a part of the authentication process on any of our MFP devices. **What do you dislike about PaperCut?** One of the drawbacks to this system is the need to use a Global Print driver because of our mixed environment. Because of this some of the features like stapling or label printing on large MFP devices is not possible. We have come up with some workarounds but the process to getting there is a bit cumbersome. **What problems is PaperCut solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem that PaperCut is addressing for us is not having people print documents that are never retrieved from the printer. So two things, increased security and reduction in cost associated with printing. ### 27. There software is built to run. I have worked with alot of software, Papercut is one of the easiest to troubleshoot. Its ease of use makes it easily adaptable for any type of business wanting to control cost and manage print devices on the network. It comes with a variety of options such as Mobility Print, Integrated Scanning, Find-Me Printing and Print Deploy. It is a must have for small IT dept that need to manage devices and users efficiently. **What do you dislike about PaperCut?** You have to buy Print Deploy advanced enablement pack in order to get more zones. Print Deploy comes with one zone only unless you have this.
