Customer support is very helpful when I need them. For example, I had a server failure and had to reinstall the program. You need a Windows server where you first have to install the entire print server component and then install PaperCut, which still has to be set up almost from scratch in terms of printers. Deployment with a single zone is not usable. The software is simple to use, runs smoothly, and is easy to navigate. We had a couple of small setup issues at the start, but they were resolved quickly thanks to support from both our supplier and the PaperCut support team. The back end also allows me to keep costs under control, track high usage and reduce waste – great for an Enviroschool. There are helpful reminders for staff when printing, which cut down on waste by encouraging people to only print what they really need. The secure printing feature means my teachers can send their documents to the printer, but the documents only print when they’re physically at the printer to release them. This prevents anyone else from accidentally picking up private or sensitive information. I work in a mixed environment of PC, Mac, and ChromeOS. Papercuts "print depoy" has you covered. Updating drivers is a breeze, adding new devices is just as easy. With SSO support authentication is super easy for the end user. If someone has a printer issue, just refresh your printers. From an IT point of view this makes deployment and management super quick and easy. Papercut is worth every penny just for the ease of use for end users. Gone are the days of running from building to building just to get your people printing again. **What do you dislike about PaperCut?** While someone of this is just an issue with the OSX handles certain things deployment of print deploy is a bit of hassle to get going through your mdm. If that process could be streamlined I would be happy to up my rating to a ten. **What problems is PaperCut solving and how is that benefiting you?** Since switching from windows based print servers/management to papercut the amount of printer tech tickets and drive time to our various locations has been reduced greatly. Its really easy to implement and allows us to focus on our carbon reduction, while allowing people to do their jobs, it has lots of features and we use all of them across a number of different use cases **What do you dislike about PaperCut?** Move to the cloud, we think that PaperCut Hive will be just as awesome as Papercut MF, but we really need to get further information and support on the migration. **What problems is PaperCut solving and how is that benefiting you?** Print Management and Auditing is a breeze with PaperCut, it makes managing 10,000 users printing and the associated rules and costs easy, gives us a good oversight of our carbon use as well as helps us to reduce our environmental impact ### 13. It is straightforward to delete users once they leave, and to add new joiners. I got the following feedback from the tech support team: "The closest way to show this level of toner information via our built in reporting options is the report called Printer List. You can see this by going to the Reports tab in the PaperCut admin console, then Printer. The report will be the first option at the top of that page and you will want to run it in the .CSV format. We wanted a Copy Center tool and PaperCut offers Job Ticketing, but this tool is way to basic in its design and function. It needs a massive overhaul.
