PanoSharp is a 360° image and video upscaling product from CNAPS.AI, built for teams whose panoramic footage no longer holds up on modern VR headsets, large-format displays, and dome projection. General-purpose AI upscalers treat an equirectangular frame like a flat photo. They break the ±180° seam and stretch the poles into smears. PanoSharp works on the projection itself: the seam stays continuous across the wrap, and the poles are rebuilt instead of stretched. What it does: - Upscales 360° images and video from 8K equirectangular to 32K (512 MP) - Seam-continuous across the ±180° wrap, so the stitch line does not reappear - Poles rebuilt rather than stretched - Delivers a 32K equirectangular master plus 6 x 8K cubemap faces, ready to drop into an engine or player - Works on archive material that cannot be reshot Who it is for: VR game and app studios, virtual tour and digital twin teams, 360 capture and production agencies, dome and exhibition projection, and archive restoration.
