What do you like best about Panjiva?

The tool is a great solution for looking at the different large shippers that import into various major base ports throughout the U.S. You can see who is the largest shipper and also what type of products are coming through the ports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Panjiva?

I would say that they can make enhancements and make queries easier to filter out older companies. They also could push automated reports that provide new shippers that are large shipping through ports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Panjiva:

I would say if you need to find large importers and exporters then it is a good solution. Or if you are looking to analyze macroeconomic trends on products that are selling in the U.S. , it can be beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Panjiva solving and how is that benefiting you?

Panjiva is helping me seamlessly find the large importers and exporters that are moving ocean container goods in and out of the U.S. This helps automate the process of my prospect search. I am finding leads across my industry and am analyzing which import ports are being utilized more frequently. What do you like best about Panjiva?

Filtering capacity , multi-dimensional reports , Full visibility on BL Scope for US And Some AWBL available from some country sharing their databases with Panjiva.

Price is extremelly competitive for large corporations and company profiles are enriched with S&P information.

Once tool is in hand and users are trained it works smartely and enable Dashboard creation showing what you want to show.

Analytics embedded well designed and bi-directional company profiles (import/Export) are well desgined and give what Sales people really need when engaging with a prospect.

Training and support are well done and gives minimum skills to start using Panjiva. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Panjiva?

Panjiva does not have ALL Country shipments datas; This is probably due to GDPR Constraints (in Europe) as well as other local Data Privacy proctection rules. A lot more lobbying to access to DBs would be appreciated.

When it comes to easiness to use , Panjiva does better than competition (cf. Datamyne) thanks to its interface but end-users really need to get trained and use it regularly to keep skills.

Would have appreciate capacity to include more than 4 dimension to reports enabling to aggregate more datas at shipment level to then be able to do better analytics (on Power BI/Excel).

Would appreciate capacity to link with CRM (integration with MS Dynamics)in order to populate CRM with Shipment profiles directly into Accounts created in the CRM system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Panjiva solving and how is that benefiting you?

Company profiles with Trade Datas have no value. Panjiva gather with their sources all possible trade datas based on datas coming from Bill of Ladings / Ocean Manifests. This enable to group shippers and consignees of a shipments together to create strong Company Profile and enable to know better our Prospects and Customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Panjiva?

What I like the most about Panjiva is the ease in searching and finding the information and data I need to make business decisions. The software display importing data in a manner that is very understandable and useable.

Panjiva also makes it easy to export data into a csv or excel sheet in pre-set tempalte making the data ready to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Panjiva?

After using other importing data software, I have not found an issue with Panjiva. Unless there are tools I don't know about, Panjiva has provided the data I am looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My advice for using Panjiva is to have someone walk you through the tools and searching best practices to receive the data you are looking for.

I also recommend to use Panjiva has a business tool to stay competitive. The sereachable data will help your company know product, market, and competition data. Most likely, your compeitors are not using this data.
