## About pandas python
Pandas is a powerful and flexible open-source Python library designed for data analysis and manipulation. It provides fast, efficient, and intuitive data structures, such as DataFrame and Series, which simplify handling structured (tabular, multidimensional, potentially heterogeneous) and time series data. Pandas aims to be the fundamental high-level building block for practical, real-world data analysis in Python, offering a wide range of functionalities to streamline data processing tasks. Key Features and Functionality: - Handling Missing Data: Pandas offers easy handling of missing data, represented as `NaN`, `NA`, or `NaT`, in both floating point and non-floating point data. - Size Mutability: Columns can be inserted and deleted from DataFrame and higher-dimensional objects, allowing for dynamic data manipulation. - Data Alignment: Automatic and explicit data alignment ensures that objects can be aligned to a set of labels, facilitating accurate computations. - Group By Operations: Powerful and flexible group by functionality enables split-apply-combine operations on datasets for both aggregating and transforming data. - Data Conversion: Simplifies converting differently-indexed data in other Python and NumPy data structures into DataFrame objects. - Indexing and Subsetting: Provides intelligent label-based slicing, fancy indexing, and subsetting of large datasets. - Merging and Joining: Facilitates intuitive merging and joining of datasets. - Reshaping and Pivoting: Offers flexible reshaping and pivoting of datasets. - Hierarchical Labeling: Supports hierarchical labeling of axes, allowing multiple labels per tick. - Robust I/O Tools: Includes robust tools for loading data from flat files (CSV and delimited), Excel files, databases, and saving/loading data from the ultrafast HDF5 format. - Time Series Functionality: Provides time series-specific functionality, including date range generation, frequency conversion, moving window statistics, and date shifting and lagging. Primary Value and User Solutions: Pandas addresses the challenges of data analysis by offering a comprehensive suite of tools that simplify the process of data manipulation, cleaning, and analysis. Its intuitive data structures and functions allow users to perform complex operations with minimal code, enhancing productivity and enabling efficient handling of large datasets. By providing seamless integration with other Python libraries and tools, Pandas serves as a cornerstone for data science workflows, empowering users to extract insights and make data-driven decisions effectively.

**What do you like best about pandas python?**

The best thing about the pandas, we can perform the data analytics operation with this in completion of data science process. it has couple of the function to perform the operation over the data frame(i.e. array or matrix).

**What do you dislike about pandas python?**

This is not dislike thing about the pandas. it is an requirement of analytics that this should have the memory optimization feature

**Recommendations to others considering pandas python:**

I would recommend to my friends that it is very useful to perform the data exploration.

**What problems is pandas python solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we are working and worked with pandas to explore the data to perform the data analytics part. I realized that this is base library of python we can work with data with the help of this.

  ### 6. Great tool to load, manage, manipulate and save the data on Python

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meliksah T. | Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2019

**What do you like best about pandas python?**

- Ease of use: I can simply read a file by typing read_excel('name.xlsx') and that's it.
- Ability to manage all kinds of data for all kind of needs. You have multi-indexed data and you want to sort in a hierarchical way? No problem, pandas has a solution for that, just as it does for everything you do.
- It is based on NumPy so it works very efficiently thanks to vectorized background, that's very precious when working with huge amount of data.
- It is also based on Matplotlib which makes visualization very convenient. I can simply go write df['data'].hist() to plot histogram or df['data'].plot() for line plot or df['data'].plot(kind = 'bar') for bar plot, without being have to deal with a lot of parameters.

**What do you dislike about pandas python?**

As much as it's great to have matplotlib in the background of pandas, some features of matplotlib are not exactly available in pandas so we have to use matplotlib instead. To be able to use all features of matplotlib would be nice.

**Recommendations to others considering pandas python:**

Do not forget to use its visualization functions which are based on Matplotlib. Functions such as hist() and plot() are very handy and fast.

**What problems is pandas python solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving the problems of: loading the data, exploring it using pandas functions such as info, describe, shape, mean, max, min, etc., manipulating and managing the data by using functions such as groupby, drop, dropna, etc. and having ready the data for machine learning pipelines. Not to mention I save the result as csv/excel file.

**Reviewed by:** Vikram S. | Senior Manager, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2018

**What do you like best about pandas python?**

Data comes in every form and needs to be handled and manipulated for further processing. Pandas is a pretty good library that can handle various file types and provides easy to use API for data manipulation.

The best thing I liked about pandas is the DataFrame concept, after lodaing data from any file irrespective of the type it brings all data to DataFrame object on which all the APIs can be easily applied.

**What do you dislike about pandas python?**

Pandas is the only library we use at Easesolution Pvt. Ltd. for data pre-processing and manipulation. So I personally have no dislike for it.

**Recommendations to others considering pandas python:**

There is one more companian available which I recomend all of you to use along with Pandas is Numpy. These both together goes very well and all of your data pre-processing a cup of tea and you can start working on the main task with in minutes.

**What problems is pandas python solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I mentioned it is the best tool present around for data manipulation for different file type. As a company we recieve data in various formats which needs to be handled. So we trust it and use it. Also one more thing I would like to mention, it's robust and handles errors very well. So the debuding is comparitively easy.

Recently the project I remember I used pandas was, when we recieved data in csv files and data was to be fetched and applied.

**What do you like best about pandas python?**

Pandas Dataframe structure makes it very simple to arrange and adjust data. When used with SciPy it makes Machine Learning an easy process.

**What do you dislike about pandas python?**

Some of the code examples do not always make the process of manipulating the data easy. I have found examples on other websites that are more effective with Dataframes. So, yes, the documentation is sometimes lacking the reality of programming in Python.

**Recommendations to others considering pandas python:**

I am not familiar with many other products that can easily arrange data into dataframes like Pandas does. With Python, using this package is a given.. must use.

**What problems is pandas python solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been able to remove duplicate lines of data and sort through numerous lines of text files that I have created to track software usage and such. In C# I typically pull the data but to easily clean up the text file I use Python (Pandas specifically).
